Godrej/ AC — Faulty

Dear Sir/ Madam



I bought two Godrej A/C in May’2007 on recommendation of PRINCE ELECTRONICS-NANGLOI.

This is height of such a pitiable service I have received from any electronic company.

From the very first day they (A/C) have given big time trouble to us (Making sound like a water cooler, Technician came three time and change the compressor after which electrical wiring is burnt twice, They have used thermocol and rubber to adjust new compressor which doesn't fit in the existing A/c's and from last two months making us fool by making false commitments of different dates, My parents have gone through mental harassment because of this and I am planning for legal action. Below are the complaint no. with date details.



I want my money back from godrej.



I regret buying godrej air conditioners, and will never purchase and recommend for godrej products in my entire life.

I Purchased 1.5.ton AC in March 2008 and refer my complaint no.738928 dtd 03/12/08 which was attended after 20 days incompletely without changing damaged windo slits even after metioning in writing in technician's job sheet who promised to turn up next day but I am waiting till date and again lodged complaint under complaint no. 362529 dtd 26 feb 2009 and till today february 28 no one turned up.

I would say no to my knowns for Godrej AC after such a horrible service neglegency.

I am expecting now to attend the complaint by monday March 2, 2009.

i have compliant to urs co. on dated 12/08/2009, my compliant no. is 217219 after many reminder .no body to solve it, i talked firstly mr prem then mr rahul then mr rakesh then mr prince again mr rahul. but no body take any responsibilty, so sir pl solve my compliant

Dear Sir / Madam,

I had purchased 2 Godrej split Air-Conditioners on 24th June 2008 from the Charni Road showroom of Vijay sales. Both these ACs were installed by authorised Godrej service engineers (or atleast that is what was informed to me by Vijay sales).

Within 10 - 11 months both the ACs started giving trouble and we had to get the GAS refilled as your engineer said that the problem was due to gas leak. Let me stress here that 1 of the units had hardly been used twice or thrice for very short durations of approx 10-15 mins as it is installed on the mezzanine floor which we do not use at all.

Now after getting the repairs done some 10 months back both my ACs have again broken down. Strange part is that the unit on my mezzanine floor was never used since the last time it was repaired and when the engineer came to service it, he just cooly tells me that there is a gas leakage and Godrej AC are known to have this problem. I am asked to pay Rs.4500 for each AC if I would want to get it repaired.

For your information, I have purchased a total of 5 ACs out of which 2 are Godrej. I have not had a single problem with the other 3 (Samsung, Videocon & LG). Infact I used a Voltas Vertis for 7 years and never called the service centre for anything but the normal AC servicing and I am very sorry to say that your product has given me headaches rather than comforts.

I am not sure whether this problem is due to the quality of your products or due to improper installation done by your "authorised serivce agent" but it is extremely unfair if I am supposed to foot a bill of Rs.9000/- for sub-standard product/services on your part. This completely comes across as con job where every 10 months the customer will have to get repairs done whether the product has been used or not.

I visited your website http://www.customercareinfo.in/godrej-air-conditioners-customer-service-number-india.html and got your email ID there as [protected]@godrej.com and have written to that ID as well. I tried to call on the customer care numbers provided on this site[protected] &[protected] as well and was greeted with someone who just replied "Kal phone karo" and hung up. Finally I got your customer care number from Vijay Sales and contacted on [protected] where I was informed by the agent (after checking with his seniors) that he was not in a position to register my complaint and he gave me this email address which I am writing to.

It is extremely disappointing that a brand like yours is so callous about the quality of your products and services.

With this experience, I am sure that I am never going to touch any Godrej products in future or recommend your products to any of my friends or family.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I purchased 1 ton A/c 3 years back. Every time it is giving some troubles and we are calling engineers. They also coming and solving temporarily. Unit is automatically turning off and turning on every five minutes itself by with out using of my remote.
I am requesting you to give some solutions immediately for above problem.

I really regret buying godrej air conditioners, and will never purchase and recommend for godrej products in my entire life.

1. I HAVE PURCHSED AIR CONDITIONER ON 05OCT2009 FROM BIDJEY & CO, TILAK DWAR, ARYA SAMAJ ROAD, MATHURA-281001. BOOK NO-05, SR NO-224.

2. SINCE THE TIME OF INSTALLATION THE AIR CONDITIONER DEVELOPED SOME FAULT OR ANOTHER (MIN 3-4 TIMES) . THIS TIME IT HAS TAKEN MORE THAN 10 DAY AND STILL NO SATISFACTORY RESPONCE HAS BEEN GIVEN BY THE DEALER.

3. AS A CUSTOMER I SHOULD KNOW WHAT IS THE ACTUAL PROBLEM AND WHAT ACTION THE DEALER IS TAKING . TO WHICH THE DEALER ASK'S ME TO SPEAK TO AC MECH. I FAIL TO UNDERSTAND WHY THE DEALER FROM WHOM I HAVE PURCHASED IS NOT ABLE TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM .

4. SIR I AM FACING LOT OF DOMESTIC PROBLEM BECAUSE OF SMALL CHILD . PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND RESOLVE MY PROBLEM AT THE EARLIEST.

5. IF MY PROBLEM IS NOT ADDRESSED I HAVE TO SEEK CONSUMER COURT ASSISTANCE AND PUT MY GRIEVANCE AGAINST BIDJEY& CO IN LOCAL NEWSPAPER.

SIR,
THIS IS TO DRAW YOUR ATTENTION THAT I, MOHIT MOORJANI REGISTERED A COMPLAINT OF REMOTE OF THE AIR CONDITONER ON 12 TH MAY 2010. AT THAT TIME YOUR EXECUTIVE VISITED TO OUR HOME AND TOLD THAT YOUR AIRCONDITIONER REMOTE NEEDS SOME REPAIRING SO HE TOOK AWAY THE REMOTE AND DID NOT COME AS YET.

HOWEVER, IN THIS REGARD I AGAIN REGISTERED A COMPLAINT FOR THE REMOTE OF AIRCONDITIONER VIDE COMPLAINT NO. 249402 ON 26TH MAY 2010 TO CLEAR THIS COMPLAINT YOUR EXECUTIVES CAME TO US AND TOLD THAT WE CANT DO ANYTHING IN THIS REGARD AND THE PERSONS WHO ACTUALLY TOOK THE REMOTE CAN TELL YOU FOR THIS AND WE WILL SEND THOSE PERSONS. BUT THEN ALSO THEY DID NOT COME. NOW AFTER A WEEK OR SO I AGAIN CALLED TO YOUR CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE AND THEY GAVE ME THE NUMBER OF ANY SERVICE CENTRE. SHE TOLD ME THAT THE REQUEST NO 249402 IS CLOSED DUE TO REFUSAL OF PAYMENT. HOWEVER THEY DID NOT TOLD ME FOR ANY PAYMENT. NOW IN THIS REGARD I WOULD LIKE TO TELL YOU THAT NOW I AM FED UP CALLING AGAIN AND AGAIN TO YOUR CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE AND WE ARE FACING A LOTS OF PROBLEM DUE TO THIS. SO YOU ARE REQUESTED TO LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND GIVE OUR REMOTE BACK OR ELSE I SHOULD GO TO CONSUMER COURT FOR SUCH A KIND OF HARASSMENT.

Warm greetings!
This is to inform you that I had purchased Godrej A.C from the local dealer, Mr. Sameer from Gurukrupa Electronics, kawant, Baroda Dist, Gujarat, almost a year ago. Till now the A.C is not functioning properly.
I have tried to convey the problems many, many times but no proper care is taken. Really Disgusting and irritating. After almost 6 months, a person from the godrej company comes to check the A.C and he discovers that the problem is in the remote and not in the AC. He promises to return the remote within a week. Almost 5 months are over. No news of that person who came to repair. I have reported this matter to the dealer, Mr. Sameer (GuruKrupa Electronics, Kawant), but he seems to be least intrested.
I am really upset, angry and irritated with the sales service from the company as well as the dealer Mr. Sameer. I have decided not to buy any products from godrej in the near future and I would also recommend others to do so.
Kindly look into this matter as soon as possible before the summer season ends.

My AC is under contract no. [protected] with godrej customer care since[protected] till[protected]
since last month my AC is not working 3 times i have lodged complaint, twice your service centre person visit diagnose the problem ( fan motor not working ) and left saying we will have to talk to godrej regarding this.
no action after 10-15 days also when we again contacted directly to service centre incharge he bluntly said u r not under contract, i cant see your details in my data..this is really shocking
after 4-5 days when we again contacted the same person he said i will have to check with godrej..
bloody when everything is written on contract why the hell you are delaying things
Resolve my issue immediately
