A mail has come from [protected]@google.com to me stating i have won a lottery for a price of 500,000 great British pounds. Once i have responded to the email providing my details they asked for. And got a mail stating "CLAIMS VERIFICATION" have done and you ll getting the parcel in so and so flight. our diplomat Mr. Tom Cole will be assisting you till the money get exchanged and transferred to your account. As the amount is huge they asked me to pay of Rs.24,900 Indian Rupees to the account for the courier charge, as it have to travel from United Kingdom(UK) to India. I have made the payment, after i got the call from the diplomat Mr. Tom Cole, i have followed all the instruction what he had told me... He told that it is processing, the parcel has been released by the customs department. I was so curiously waiting as the lottery is big amount i can never see in my life, almost 3.65 crores INR. I was also tensed at the same time as I have paid twenty five thousand, if anything goes wrong, I'll loose Rs.25,000. I waiting for so long and he was giving me time to updates what all is processing, the updates and process i got so I felt as if it is every is going fine. No one expects that it is Ford. Now 4hours later i paid the amount 25,000, i got one more mail and call stating i have to pay 75,000 more as part of conversion fee. As the check is in British Pound, as per the process it has to go to the Reserve back of India and then the money ll get transferred to my account in to Indian rupee. I had mailed to the RBI team saying to deduct the amount transfer to my account, As a part of this ford process, the mail from RBI is also ford, he maield me back stating this is not possible to security reasons and the whole amount ll be transferred once you pay the Rs. 75,000. All the way i was trying to do the arrangements all the day. And the next day, sorry sir i couldn't arrange 75,000, i only had 25,000 now. I don't have any option to get 75,000. then Tom made one more call saying that I had spoke with RBI now, and they said please how much ever you have now (Rs. 25,000) so that we get an assurance that you have money and ll be paying later once i get the money transferred. and the process ll start then. Dear sir/madam,
I want to make you aware of the fake E-mails that we receive on our E-mail ID's.
I have been cheated by a group of cheater. Firstly I received a mail informing me that my E-mail
to has been selected for Google & Rediff lottery system by an electronic voting machine and I have
won 5 crore Rs. That cheater first demanded from me 20, 000 Rs. for clearing custom cheque charge.
He provided me account no, account holder's name, PAN no. for depositing this amount. As the name
of lottery referred to GOOGLE & REDIFF I blindly paid Rs. 20, 000 to them. After that I realized I was
cheated. Now that cheater once again is demanding Rs.65, 000 for currency conversion from me. Till date
he is torching me by his message, E-mail and calls. In his cheating he is making use of ICICI, HDFC and RBI
Bank account numbers.
