[Resolved] Hathway Internet Broadband — Pathetic Connection, Improper Billing, Horrible Customer Care | |||
Its been a while since I have been subjected to - Pathetic Connection, Improper Billing, Horrible Customer Care, courtesy Hathway Internet Connection. I have this connection for quite sometime now, except for last 4 months I had no issues with them. However the last 4 months changed my outlook towards this company. Incident 1 - I purchased a 6 month connection with total of 10GB free downloads. I am not a downloaded anyways and just use internet for professional purposes, reading and replying to mails, getting in touch with friends over chat, etc. So not at all an extensive internet user. To my surprise, my internet connection was disconnected within 2 months. No reason was provided, No calls were given to intimate that the connection is being disconnected. Just one day I start my system to find no connection. The office employees had no explanation either, their only reasoning was that I "exhausted" 10GB - on what? Mails? Incident 2 - I switched the plan to a 6 month unlimited connection hoping that atleast they will provide decent connection for my complete my work. Now it seems that even that expectation was far fetched. They not only frequently disconnect and reconnect the line, they offer no explanation on it whatsoever. I have visited their Kandivali office a number of times post which some technician corrects the issue. The point is why must it fail in the first place to correct it and why must your customer visit your office. General - The Call center is the most pathetic place they have in the Hathway model. They are people who I believe are 12th pass with ok english speaking skills and no understanding of customer service whatsoever. I have faced atleast 3 incidents where the call center executive banged the phone on me without any explanation only because he had no solution. I have not been provided the email or contact number of the Nodal / Applellate officers from them. They infact believe that they can push the customer around and have the guts to say "My name is XYZ, jo ho sakta hain karlo." On the other end, I dont understand what the top management governance is all about. They are not available to take responsibility for their own employees wrong doings. To give you an example - The Nodal Officer number ([protected]) is constantly ringing but no one is picking it up. The Appellate Authority number is coming incorrect (+91 [protected]). The Hathway Financial Controller number (+[protected] is also coming as not available. These numbers are as available and shared by the company with TRAI. Can TRAI please look into these numbers and see why these are not being used to solve customer complaints. "The internet connectivity is low. The server cannot be connected. The network area cable is unplugged." are the messages i get when i try to connect the net. The phone at customer care service centre is many times not recieved by the people over there. The tone is very rude and when i asked that how long will it take then they reply rudely that "WE DO NOT KNOW" or "I WILL SEE THAT IT HAPPENS SOON." And this soon takes more than 3 days. From last one month there is lot of connectivity problem which is not adderessed by Hathway Vadodara. It is disgusting and ridiculous.
I had used services of Hathway for 4 months last year during which the service was considerably good. But since i started using their service this time (Which was from November last year), its service has been pathetic. First it was awfully slow and now for last three weeks I have no connectivity at all. On repeated complaints, their service guy makes a visit and then disappears. And today, on calling, I was told that the services will not be there for next 2-3 Days. No sign of even smallest shame...Seems I am caght in their trap...

i ahve paid my renew amount on[protected] in cash with cash receipt no 144711, but upto today the connection has not started with several calls and email, pl help. These guys are not at all professionals and they don't know how to better serve their customer.
There is just another small thing that I missed to include - The Bill. I would like to understand how many of the Hathway customers get a proper bill (not the stub), a proper A4 size bill that documents the plan, the start date of internet, the expected end date (incase its a usage based plan), the payment done, the method and instrument number, the agreement details, the policies, the rights and duties of both parties... I am sure none o[censored]s have any such bills (atleast in Prepaid section)... How many of these stubs are shown as connections and complied by the management with the government on that basis...
24 Hours since my Internet is down. I am truly fedup with this good for nothing company... Their customer service number is down... No ones picking up the call... Mr Jayaraman What good are you to be a CEO if you cannot reply to your customers...?

VERY VERY PATHETIC SERVICE BY HATHWAYi WOULD REQUEST U TO KINDLY IMPROVE UR SERVICE
I WAS NOT GETTING CONNECTIVITY FOR ONE WEEK. I CALLED UP CUSTOMER SEVERAL TIMES WHO ALWAYS KEPT ME ON HOLD FOR MORE THAN 20 MINS WITHOUT ANY PROPER SOLUTION.
KINDLY TELL ME PROCEDURE TO APLY FOR COMPENSATION OF MY TELEPHONE BILL
