[Resolved]  HCL Me Tablet — Faulty Laptop

This is with reference to complaint ID[protected].


I brought HCL Laptop model Hcl Ae1v2351-x from technology next infocom, Nehru Place on 14 April 2011.
One the very day, I got windows XP loaded on my comp, which somehow seem not working and my system kept hanging. I got the system formatted twice, from different IT consultants, but this hanging problem remained.


On the 22nd April 2011, I lodged a complain with the HCL Helpline, complaint ID[protected]. The visiting engineer (Shankar - [protected]) took my system's hard disk as it was defaulted.


If I go by the sequence, I understand that the laptop had a defaulted Hard disk, which shall be replaced with a newer one, rather than repairing the defaulted one. As it does not make sense to me if I have to get the stuff I brought right from the showroom repaired, (its not second hand stuff)


It a case of consumer right violation and causing mental agony on a newly purchased merchandise. I did not spend my money to get a stuff which does not work properly, abd time and again I have been misled with differing versions as in replaces or repaired hard disk. I have the details of my older hard-disk so pls dont even try to get into any tricks.


I again reiterate that whatever the case be, I shall be given a functionally working replaced brand new hard-disk for my system. The person incharge of my disk at HCL is Mr Yogesh [protected]. This shall be done at the earliest by 28th April as I have lots of pending things to work on.


Now I am regretting my decision to not go for an acer laptop. I opted for hcol as my sister has it and hers seem to function well. Hope to hear from you soon.

I am Krishan Srivastava working in company M G Polyblends from November 2008, on 28th November 2008 i bought a HCL Laptop P28 PDC, Serial No. A084AX165634 on the name of my company i.e.,
M G Polyblends .

After 2 months o[censored]sage i found a problem of very dim light on screen (Faulty FL Inverter), i went to nearby service station situated in green park . They repaired it and give back to me after 2 days, i thought it is first time and can be happen . But in month of march i.e., 20/03/2009 same problem occurs (Having Service report copy).Again i went same service centre and got repaired and then on 21/05/2009 same problem occures, again i repeat the same procedure.

Now, on 30/07/2009 the same problem occurs and then i start shouting on the service centre people they told to take our AMC pack for warrenty extension and not giving proper problem and the way to how to get out from this.

I am totally feel dissapointed and feels cheated to buy such a laptop, whose problem is never ending.

Kindly do the needful as soon as possible because he might be not considered my complaint after ending warrenty period.

I have purchased a laptop from HCL one year back from Noida shop. Right from the day of its purchase, it is continously causing problem. Many times, i have submitted it to service centre but every time it strat creating trouble.I doubt this is the one of the defective piece from the chunk company produces. Now, its AMC is soon going to be over. I want this laptop to be replaced with newone.

DURING THIS TIME THE LAPTOP SCREEN START HAVING FLUCATUATION ,I AGAIN CONSULTED TO DEALER THEN HE TOLD ME THAT THIS IS HARDWEAR PROBLEM SO U HAVE TO CONSULT THE ONLINE HCL COSTUMER CARE.
BUT HE CAN UPDATE ORCHANGE MY WINDOW XP,IT TAKE MAXIMUM 2 HOUR. I LEAVE MY LAPTOP AT DEALER THEN I BACK TO HIM AFTER 6 HOUR, HE[DEALER] TOLD ME THAT IT TAKE ONE MORE DAY,THEN I BACK TO HIM NEXT DAY HE TOLD ME THAT YOUR LAPTOP HAVE SOME SERIOUS PROBLEM SO U HAVE TAKE TO HCL SERVICE CENTRE,BECOZ YOUR LAPTOP NOW NOT SHOWING ANY DISPLAY HE [DEALER]OPEN MY LAPTOP WITHOUT KNOWLEGE AND CREATED MORE PROBLEM IN HCL.
HE CALLING ME AGAIN AND AGAIN AND MAKING EXCUSE THAT NOW YOUR LAP HAVE THIS PROBLEM NOW HAVE THIS AND THAT PROBLEM.
I REALLY FEELING VERY LOW


I CALLED THE HCL COSTUMER CARE THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY REGISTETRED MY COMPLAIN
THEY GIVEN ME COMPLAINT NO.24A09079 AND GIVEN NO. OF THERE HCL ENGGENEER NAMED MR,RAVI ,MOBILE NO.[protected] .I CALLED HIM HE TOLD ME THAT HE CAN NOT DO ANY THIS INMY PROBLEM BEOZ HE IS NOT COMPETENT IN THIS.
ACTUALLY INFACT I AM FEELING LOW AND I AM NOT GETTING MY LAPTOP BACK IN GOOD CONDITION.

i have given my hcl leaptop to service centre in nagpur on 14th of december,
but till uoto today they will not be able to repair my leaptop.
they always said that your wire was not came properly.
i am not satisfacyory with your service, i want my leaptop as soon as possible otherwise i will complaint in consumer forum.
my leaptop is in warrnty period.
