[Resolved]  HDFC Bank PLATINUM CREDIT CARD — AUTO PAYMENT TAKEN WITH OUT CONSENT

Subject:: EC payment without my consent

Ref.: Credit Card No.[protected]

Dear Sir,

Please refer my above credit card. HDFC have made payment through electronic payment without my consent. Because of this action I am in trouble. I have made payment of Rs.16, 222/- before due date i. e. on 08/05/09 vide Cheque No.748748 drawn on State Bank of India, Mayur Vihar Branch. At the same time they have taken the payment from my HDFC Bank through electronic clearing. This is not acceptable. I need funds for other liabilities. I have requested to please give back the money at the earliest otherwise my other payment (Housing Loan & personal Loan) cheques got bounced and penalties to be levied on me unnecessarily.

I have already made a complaint on phone banking today & the complaint No. is [protected] (Phone Banker is Dipika) at 11.20 A. M. on date (14/5/09).

Please take action immediately.

Sub: Repeated Phone Calls and Harassments to me and my family, in spite of telling them my financial problem and telling them to pay after one month.


Dear Sir,

I, Arupa Narayan Jena, holding the Business Gold Credit Card having the No: [protected] since last 1 year. I used to pay the outstanding regularly and due to the current market situation, some of my funds are blocked in the market which I am not able to retrieve till now. For this reason my current financial position is very tight and I am struggling to retrieve my fund.

Due to non-payment of my last month bill for the above mentioned credit card, One guy is calling regularly from the telephone no.[protected] to my mobile no: [protected].

I told him several times that, I am currently running in very bad financial position and I require some time to pay your bill. Every time he forced me to give the date again and again. I told him that, I am trying to get it done as soon as possible.

Yesterday 16th May 2009 again the guy called me in my mobile and started behaving very roughly and schooled me also. After that I told him, I don’t want to discuss any more with you and disconnected the line.

After that he called in my residence no.[protected] and also schooled to my family members too.

I request you please go through your recorded voice calls to know the truth.

Again today 17th May 2009, around 1.36 PM another lady called to my mobile from a mobile No: [protected] and talked for the same. I told her my problem and also tell I could not pay before 10-12 of June 2009.

After 5 minutes of talk the lady disconnected the line. Suddenly the guy again called in my residence no.[protected] from the telephone no.[protected] and charged me why you disconnected the line. I told him the line was disconnected form your end only. After that again he started behaving very roughly. I told him I don’t what to talk you any more and I want to talk to your credit manager and left the line.

After that the guy repeatedly calling in my mobile, to whom I don’t want to talk any more. I never expect such type of harassments from HDFC, such a professional BANK in India. Also surprised, how HDFC BANK is appointing such type of Guys who don’t know how to behalf to the customers!

In this regard I do request you kindly take immediate action to solve the situation and also request you kindly send my card account to your settlement department for full and final settlement by 12th of June 2009, which may helps me in my current financial situation.

I hope you can understand the situation and do the needful at the earliest.
