[Resolved] Hindustan Unilever Limited — Fake offer letter

Hey, I received a message on my mobile which said " Your resume has been selected by Company HRD.Your offer letter already attached with link.Kindly download your letter by link :- www.ifile.it/0zke3sa" I got this mail on 18/07/2011 and the email asked me to deposit 7550 INR before 18 only to some personal account. Since I had already heard about these scams, I was wise enough to check out the internet for the authenticity of the email, I searched on internet, checked out the information given in the letter. As I expected, it was all fake.Since I thought there would be many people like me who would have got the same emails , I am registering this complaint so that no one gets caught in this scam and yes I have an advice too, if you don't get an email regarding the offer letter , just take the message to be fake.In case you do get the offer letter without applying somewhere, check out for its authenticity before taking any action. Hindustan Unilever Limited — Fake offers

Almost three months back, hindustant uniliver launched an offer asking consumers to buy products worth 100 from hindustan uniliver, under which consumer has to validate his participation through sms to their local distributors and consumers were told they will win mobile phones daily. Later on local shopkeepers told that you will receive vouchers which you have to take to Mobile Store and take mobiles from there. I also got an sms stating i have won a mobile phone voucher in march, but till i have not received any such voucher or mobile.
