Dear HUL Team.

This is to inform you that, I have done a biggese mistake of purchasing Purit Water Purifier Sr No- RPM[protected],.

Summary of Instance:
I
There is no change in the indicator observed from Last 2-3 month in the Putir battery. Last battery was replace almost a year back and we have not observed any change for quite some time. The indicator is still White instead of changing color to Red. Almost 1500 Ltr water is Dispensed by the putifier.

Now, I called Purit helpline on Last Wednesday 13th July (Complaint No-C[protected]and the Purit Executive visited my Place on Friday (after 48 hrs). The Executive came from Tilak Nagar Branch and his name was Kailash Nath. Mr Kailash Confirmed that battery is not working from Last 1 year and Chlorine is deposited in the battery and the unit is not pyrifying the water since very long period.
It was a shock for us as My family was drinking impure water and Your company gives false promises of Pure water to users. What a shame.
Moreover, if Battery failed to work then water shouldnt have been dispensed to the collection chamber. However water kept on dispensing.

Later we requested Mr Kailash to send some intelligent technical person to check the complete unit. He went back and no body visited thereafter till date.

After this incident, I called purit helpline on 14th July and Spoke to Mr Atul - team leader and he registered the complaint (Complaint No C[protected] and assured me that with in 24 workin hour, Senior technician wil visit and check the unit and rectify the problem.
My Wife called on 19, 20th and 21st ans spoken to Mr Kalam/ Mr. Rohit on helpline and evertime except assurene we did not receive any thing.
What a pity.
Till date no body as visited my Place and i have received a message of Complaint Closure of complaint no-C[protected]. On this i have given feedback as dissatisfied.
From 13th July, We have not used Water purifier at all and purchsing mineral water from outside.

If this is the quality of service then i really feel that i have invested my Trust in wrong brand.
I am working with TATa Group where quality is never compromized.

hindustan lever water purifier — Disgusting Service delivery and Water dispensing problem

Hello Sir,
My name is Vilas Patil. I have purchased the purifier from Hindustan lever on 5/04/2010,Customer Id :- [protected]. Within the period of one and half a month, the Purifier has been giving me the problem. When i booked the complaint on 17th May 2010, the executive, without checking the machine for the problem, claimed that the germ kit and prepared the kit replacement.It was replaced on chargeable basis. Again after the replacement, a period of one and half month, i am suffering the same problem from the purifier. I have booked the complaint# C[protected], one and half week before. The executive had visited and did something but yet the problem persist. I reported my feedback on the same complaint on the same day asking me for replacement of the purifier against the faulty piece. But since that day, i had followed it today 07/08/2010 with Mr. Atul, Mr. Sachin, and Mr. Hussain. But no one is ready to provide me the replacement. Need your help to get the replacement a.s.a.p.

My Germ kill Battery Kit life was going to be expired so I booked Germ kill Battery Kit through message on 14 july 2011 on mob. no. [protected], in response to message I received details of service provider of my area. I called to service provider same day on mob. no. [protected] and gave details of my present address and both registered mobile numbers but GKB has not been delivered to me till 16 july and my GKB life expired and became switched off. I again called to service provider on 16 july on [protected] and they given me customer care no. [protected]. I booked my complaints and again given details of my present address and mobile numbers and he assured me for change GKB within 48 hrs but not received. Again on 17 july I booked GKB online and got pureit service ticket number 73623. I received call from pureit Bangalore on 18 july regarding it. Same day I received a message that if I didn’t got GKB then reply via message to [protected] by typing RFS0 so I send message on 18 july evening and again waiting till date and depend on mineral water. If this is the condition then god knows what will happen in near future.
    Why was my order for GKB booked for many times and not delivered yet? A company like yours can not shade the responsibility of after sell service.
    Kindly look into matter and arrange to solve my problem as soon as possible.

        Fake offer letter

        Hey, I received a message on my mobile which said " Your resume has been selected by Company HRD.Your offer letter already attached with link.Kindly download your letter by link :- www.ifile.it/0zke3sa"

        I got this mail on 18/07/2011 and the email asked me to deposit 7550 INR before 18 only to some personal account.

        Since I had already heard about these scams, I was wise enough to check out the internet...

        I have ordered a pure it germ kill battery on 05 Jul 2011 and subsequently on 06 Jul 11 and my online booking no is 72309 and 72431 respectively. After a gap of 05 days i have inquired about the delivery status to customer care on mobile no [protected] and the staff Mr Ranjan has ensured me after clarification that it will be delivered within 48 hrs but till now more than 72 hrs gone and all is in vain. If this is the condition then god knows what will happen in near future. My customer ID is [protected] ans RFS no is RFS/589926 as given by your staff.

        After complaints i have got the pure it germ kill kit delivered by Mr Subramaniyam and Mr Prasad Raju on 15 Jul 2011. The same can be delivered before putting complaints also and then it will be appreciable also. How ever good job.

          Battery Kit Problem

          This is in reference to my complaint with pure it with complaint number C[protected]. I am logging this complaint from 20th June 2011 and from that time they given me three complaint number that is 1. C[protected]. C[protected]. C[protected]. I am continuously following up with the customer care help line number but nothing has been done till date.

          I ordered germ battery kit through Online with reference number 65840; on 10th May 2011 amount of Rs. 550. On 11th May around 10:30 I received a call from Pureit customer care and they told me that today a person from our side will come to your home to change the battery. I received call from their Noida authorized dealer and they told me that our person is coming to change the battery in the evening. Person came at 4:00 PM. He replaced all thing and taken old battery kit with him (when I asked he told me that he has to show this to office). I asked for the bill and he given me 1 pure it slip in which he has written his name and amount of kit. He did not give me proper bill.

          Next day I received call from Mr. Arjun Singh from Noida dealer as the confirmation call, then I asked him about the bill and about that boy who came to our home. He assured me that he was the right guy (name Suraj, contact number [protected]) and he told me don’t worry your kit is original and you will not face any problem.

          But within 15 days our battery starting becoming red and within 1 month is totally gone. I called up to Noida vendor but not found proper response from them and from 20th I started calling on customer care numbers.

          During my complaint I received call from Mr. Arjun Singh (Noida dealer) and he told me that he will not replace any battery and I will have to pay full amount of new battery. He also told me that “you can do the complaints daily or as much you want but in any cost I will not replace your battery.

          I want to know if I have received duplicate product how they reached me. How they got my contact details and order from the website.

          You are requested to please look in to the matter and replace my batter kit as soon as possible.

            I, Gopichand Joshi, purchased a “Pureit” on 20/11/2010 from M/s Priyanka Electronics & Furniture, Talegaon Dabhade, Dist. Pune. As it is an Hindustan Unilever product, I need not thought over for quality. Appliance worked good for a week. But then I found a defect that water filtration process was very slow & inconsistent. Sometimes water was not coming down at all. I told the dealer regarding the same. But there was no response from his side. After waiting for some days I carried the pureit to the dealer’s shop for attending the defect. He told me to keep it at his shop & assured to get it attended, whenever technician will visit his shop. After a long period, he told us the problem is attended. So I brought it back, but the problem was not solved & found that one more defect has been developed - I found leakage from bottom of Cleansing –collection chamber. It is not possible for us to carry the equipment to the dealer every now and then as we are staying in a village- KAMSHET near Talegaon Dabhade. Also service response is very unsatisfactory, rather there is no service at all. So I kept the “pureit” aside & brought our old water filter!
            Shall I expect any positive response from the company?

              I have purchased 700 ml Pantene Shampoo (hairfall) from Prakash Collection Dadar on 23/06/2011. On using it for 2 occassions, I sustaine d heavy hairfall which is quite in contrary to the claim that it prevents hairfall.
              I got the batch number from the shop who informed me that 2 others had purchased the same brand and sustained hairfall. THE BATCH NUMBER IS B[protected]/8:29
              I SEEK TO LODGE A SERIOUS COMPLAINT AS I AM IN THE HOSPITALITY and fitness industry and am only 28 years old. It has seriously affected by looks. Firstly I need a refund for the shampoo and a redressal for the loss borne by me for the faulty product

                My name is Sujoy Kumar Paul & my Kit no is RPBAF00009572. I have purchased a Hindustan Uniliver Pureit germ kill battery on 2/06/2011 of Rs. 550. As per Pureit condition, that germ kill battery gives us 2250 liters water as purified water, but within one month my germ kill battery has became red. Only 3 person in my family. I was launched a complain on 03.07.2011(Complain no. C[protected]. As per the commitment of customer care representative, somebody came in my house for changed the battery on 4th July 2011 upto 8 pm, but nobody came for the same. Again I was called in Customer care on 4th evening and launched a complain for change my pure it battery (Complain no C[protected], but again nobody attend my complain. Again I was called on 5th evening on 7.34 pm and talk with customer care representative about my complain and he ensured that his representative attend my problem within 8 pm on the same day. But again nobody attend my complain.

                It is your responsibility & duty to replace the battery in free of cost. Neither I shall published all the details in my city & that can prevent your companies good will. So replace the battery as early as possible and save your company goodwill.

It is saddening to tell you that each time the battery needs to be replaced, I got to spend about Rs. 100 on phone charges for ordering the battery. Because when ever I call, your experts are busy. Please don't think that I am jobless except calling you. Now each time you say sorry. Please replace that word with something else. It has neither any meaning for you nor it makes any sense when used by you, . fed up...

                  Last month , we have changed battery for our Pure it. But pungas problem in battery, so we are not used last 15 days, it is very difficult to contact through customer care no. So , I'm complaint through mail. Please change the battery without additional cost or please taken back your product as early.
                  Because still we are not satisfing yet.

                    I have ordered for germ kill battery on 9 th June 2011.Till date i haven't recieved the same.

                    I got an SMS that"please confirm the delivery for request RFS/478867 and service provider phone : [protected] - But the person left your company 6months back and you couldn't update(SHAME ON YOU)i made a reply message of RFS"0" then also i didn't get any response.Meanwhile i got call from Bangalore twice and i made complaint to them also.But no response.

                    I didn't understand that if you people can't provide the service why won't you pack up?

                    hindustan unilever limited/pureit — non receiving of battery accessories after 11 days of reminder on 9227100200

                    i'm your customer. my name is piyush r.patel. my customer no. is [protected] & mobile no. is[protected].a big company can wait biggest time is my experience. how can i refer anyone? the following is the reason to prove the same after contacting on [protected].
                    requirement of battery & accessories noted on 4-4-2009 & ask me to wait for 48 hours. Last time it was 24 hours & getting it after 96 hours (4days)
                    after non contacting next enquiry given on 8 or 9th april, 2009, the reply given by concern is that a battery & accessories is short supply, please wait for 2or 3 days, battery stock will reach soon.
                    on the day of[protected] further enquiry for the same & concern has promised me to send the person on that day or the next day.
                    today i also reminding the person & old promise given that before evening it will be available but the company failed to fulfill the promise.
                    now answer me when it will given to me (if i'm waiting for a free from you). if you will donate me please tell. your too bogus than a donor. because donor give promise & fulfill befor your promise that i know.
                    your calling service is not proper.
                    is your contact no. [protected] is ok to trace out the wrong person who gave me the promise and not sending the battery & accessories.
                    please answer what shall i do?
                    please closed the pureit circulation, marketing because you don't have any managemetn to fulfill your customer's battery demand in time.
                    your mismanagement will heart mankind. You play a dirty game with all of our health.

                    you will have to promise all customer about after sale service unless type in advertisement & broucher that every one have to try & wait for battery for unlimited period.

                      I hv purchased i unit of pure it compact from D mart thane on 13/06/2011
                      as per company guidlines i started using the pure it from 14/06/2011 but immediately i could see a heavy leakage from the unit....so i reqistered the complaint at the customer care ....company person came on 16/06/2011 for visit and attanded ...according to him the fitting was loose ...he did something ....after 1 hr again the leakage started...informed to customer care and the same person...the same person visited again and now he said the battery is faulty ...next day he replaced the battery ....but the problem was still there..next day he again visited and now he said the upper unit has to be replaced...so on the conferencc we hv spoken with the customer care for the same....i was promised that the problem will be resolved within 24 hrs...but till today 01/07/2011after registering so many complaints the problem is still there....today i received a call saying that we hv no stock of spare parts.......
                      It is the worst product in its category in the market with the poorest service I have ever experienced.
                      I have had to register complaints for it every day; It takes 18 days for anyone to attend the complaint
                      Pathetic when it has not worked then how is the life up?? What happened to all promises given when you buy the product. Someone needs to give replacement.

                        Dear Sir

                        This is to inform you that I purchased Pure It water purifier- model number-RP[protected], CBU code- WP5G1 from Biratnagar, Nepal. It's just one month that I bought it and I have already changed the entire filter unit. I have been facing water leakage problem since the time I bought it. The shop I bought it from is not taking liability for it. In fact everytime we calll him that the guy from the company is going to come and check it, but no one has ever come. Kindly look into the matter asap.

                        Now, these days, I am watching a add about your products, that there is no complaint about tour product PURE IT. But I have a product which is same that’s have a leakage where that transparent glass is. I purchased that in moth of January and starts bit late after a month (in February). It’s your luck you got that type of PURE IT.

                        I purchased unilever pureit in January 2011, now i am facing leakage problems form 10days, i called to customer care for 10-15 times and also to the dealer but i am not getting any reply from them, simply they are saying will do. Its very shameful service and bad service. kindly solve my problem at the earliest.Now onwards i will not recomment to take the pureit due to very very bad service. I contacted to Mr. LV Singh (Service engineer) and Mr. rupesh (Dealer) talegaon dabhade, Pune-410506 but they are not giving any reply. Its very bad.Kindly rectify

                              The device has been malfunctioning since day 1. I had to lodge a complaint on day 4 of my purchase and from then on a visit by your service executive has been a regular affair (the complete list is given below).

                              On their each visit they do something which rectifies the problem, but for a short duration. Then again there is a problem, I lodge a complaint and but the device has never functioned smoothly for a sustainable amount of time. We are only two members in the family and so it is never overused. The device is operated only by me and is at the same place as when it was installed. Then what is the problem

                              All this only surmises to one thing the device itself is defective or faulty and needs immediate replacement.

After all I cannot let them also suffer the same way as I am.

                                Ice Cream from HUL is being sold above MRP by its itinerant retailers. They are fearless and shameless. They fear no one in HUL as well. The malpractice continues even after writing to HUL. There is only lip service but no action from their side. Below is the email chain which also contains a confirmation given by them that such things will be stopped but only words and no actions.

                                Sale of ice cream above MRP defeats the whole purpose of having a MRP. If this is happening in cities what can we expect in remote areas?

                                It is absolutely disheartening to bring it back to your notice that the malpractice of selling ice-creams above MRP continues. The itineratn retailer doesnt have the slightest fear and he boldy mentions that he will continue to do the same. He asks us to do whatever we can.

                                I am simply disheartened and amazed. What action has Uniliver taken? Are they themselves promoting the malpractice?

                                We cannnot expect such a big comglomerate acting so irresponsibilly.

                                If I do not get a mail from your end stating that such malpractices will be ending with immediate effect I shall take you to the conusmer forum. The heights of being unethical has been crossed and it will not be tolerated any further.

                                I wasn't even aware that something like this was happening. MRP is meant for a specific purpose. Why the extra money. I think all o[censored]s should stand against anything like this. I have seen vendors selling colas for more than the MRP. They say the extra money is for cooling the drink. I am sure all o[censored]s would come across such scenerios in our daily lives. Unless we put our foot down against selling products at a price more than the MRP, we will continue to face such problems. I hope Unilever Management takes this seriously and does something to make ammends.

                                  Even after puting a complaint and 3 calls to their call centers and a complaint through this forum, still no follow up on the customer complaints...this shows how much this company cares for the after sales service and the consumers.                                     i have purchased hll pure it on 10th dec10 from paradise mark con pvt ltd and within a 3 month we have found the problem in purifier only after using almost 500 ltr while as per the saler personal Mr Nitin has commited that we have to replace ONLY FILTER AFTER 1500 consumption of water.
                                    when we found that the machine is not functioning, i called Mr nitin on 6th april regarding our complain, no action seems to be taken from his side. he came to our home on 13th and we explained our problem to him, he has given us promise tht he will come with lifetime kit within 24 hours and solve our problem. we also logged our complain to customer care on 13th apr10 but till date this complain is not attended by the company !!!
                                    then we re-complain it to the customer care on 28th of april and the person has visited my home and asked us to replace whole kit and will be charge Rs.580.
                                    i have paid this amount even after i have not used the said quantity of water but the problem persists as it is and nobody is getting satisfactory answer.

                                    when we tried to contact Mr Nitin (sales person based at ahmedabad) on his cell no but even after bunch of wrong commitments, we have not found any satisfactory answers and any actions seems to be taken from his side
                                    finally i got the reference of Mr BHAGWAN as we came to know that he is the territory sales officer and will definately help us but very afraid to said you that the answers and commitments given by him was totally fake and one can not expect from the well known companys like HLL employee.
                                    i have all the documentary details and proof tht how many time i have contacted all those careless employee and what the wrong commitment they have given
                                    no body can assume that why this kind of such a nonsense and fake commitment given by the companys employee.
                                    i think that company has to re-think about this type of careless employees and service staff as it creates wrong impression of the company
                                    please help us as we are suffering a lot and till date the machine is not working.......pls help
