[Resolved]  Hindustan Unilever Limited/"pure It"compact Model — Battery replacement

Myself Sabyasachi Roy,purchased a Pure it Compact model:RPBC[protected] from a kirana store and when I am going to change the battery of the purifier,there is no reply from your customer service desk.Everytime I am calling to them and they are showing to distributor/deler...........what is this?????? If,you are launching any new product to the market,there should be a proper information to your customer service people.

By the name of HUL,I purchased the product....but,after purchasing only I can understand..what mistake I did !!!.

If any person is reading my mail,expect a proper action on it.

I complained there & my Customer ID code is :[protected].Again customer service representative Ms.Raksha gave me an address of a distributor & thats....

When I went there yesterday,the person told me he will bring it,but Rs.250/ above will be the charges,where as the original price is Rs.175/...tell me,if Company can't provide the parts to the customers,why they are selling the product ?????????????

I m agree with Sabyasachi Roy. HUL should give proper price list of eech and every product as well as part/assesories on internet. HUL shoul start online booking for its parts.

I am always with you as per your complaint b'coz you are on the right way. There should be a transparency with the customer and the dealer/distributer of the company.
I suggest you to forward this complaint to the CONSUMER FORUM.
So that no further customer get suffered.
Iwas planning to purchase a pureit but after going through the complain of Mr.Sabyasachi Roy I am confused. If Mr.Roy staying in a city like Mumbai is facing such type of complain what will be our fate staying in a small city like Bhubaneswar(Orissa), perhaps only God can help... The funny thing is I got the SMS they are not able to trace my address after writing complain with all the details. Againg my refernce no. is S10/DLI[protected], They can easily trace address with registerd phone number look the excuse. Pls. improve after sale srvice or you will loose market share. You 1 cr. advertisement will not help in long term.
Hey i am Rohit from delhi and i am also understand your problems i know because one of my friend jusr purchased a Pure It and within the 15 days of purchasing he is suffering with his battery after just 150-200 liter of water the battery indicates to replace and when he complaint the customer care told that they will send a executive at their house but nothing they did. And now i suggest anybody that do not purchase it because there are lost of other companies provide good services like TATA SWACH they have water purifier starts from just Rs. 499 and the bulb(battery) in just 300 so why we suffer with pure it ????
Hey I am Parna from Howrah. Like Mr Sabyasachi Roy and Rohit m also facing the same problem. with in 20 days o[censored]se the battery indicates to replace when i complaint the customer care they told that they will send a executive in my house but they came without battery. and when i called them again they just simple e told go to the nearer shop and buy a yourself, we can't provide home service. the complains gone to vain no response from there side.
I would suggest do not purchase it..
I Don't know about what happen with others but i tell u one thing very frankly that i've also purchased Pure it direct from company so it may happen that Mr. Sabyasachi Roy has not buy direct from the company thats why.
My personal view about the product is that i got very very very best service from them i.e. within 24 hours only.
I really appreciate from the company's service which I've never seen and expect.

Hi! myself was also facing same problem.I had given order to replace bty on 16th july 10, there after two times I make complaint in custom care and they noted my current adress and assured me to provide service within two hrs, but till date i.e.21July 2010 no response from there side.

Almost every company plays it this way. Gone are the days when Customer was considered to be the king!!! Now a days, the very minute u walk into a store, he thinks " here comes a foll, lets suck his purse dry"...

No company is really bothered about after sales service, i mean why shud they, there are so many fools who would still buy the same product irrespective of any feedback. The main obejective of the company is to sell the product. There ends the deal.

Ekdam bakwas product hai yeh, humne kharidane ke baad 15-20 use kiya...
750 litre kya 200 pani nahi use kiya aur indicator red ho gaya...

Aur company walon se puchne par woh bole rahen hai ki Aapne kitchen mein rakha, isliye kitchen ki garmi se battery discharge ho gayi...

Mein inki complaint Consumer Forum mein karnewala hoon aur Newspaper mein likhit complaint karoonga...

Na inka product band karwaya to mera naam Umesh nahi...
Pure it is not providing proper servicing also.
We should file a case against PUR IT products in consumer courts as filing complaint also about purity of water we r not getting prper service
I have purchased a GKB having 2250 Ltr. capacity but within two months it lost. I emailed to customer care but instead of saying sorry they behaved rudly with my wife. FUTURE CONSUMER MUST AVOID HINDUSTAN LEVERS PRODUCTS AS THEY ARE JUST SERVING THE COMPANY AND ALLIENG THE GOVERNMENT BY PAYING TAX. No body care about consumer.
I am totally agree with Sabyasachi. I too purchased a Pure it compact in June'10 but since 15 days I am wandering in search of new battery. But nowhere I found that.After launching the product the Company must ensure the availability of spares countrywide.
I have purchased the water purity instrument under my Customer Id No.[protected] in my name Jagdish Sharma. After installation a person came from the company as a service person and he told us that the kit of the instrument is not working properly and it should be changed and he has taken Rs.540/- and assured me that i will change the kit of the instrument. But till date no person came from the company and also not received any response from the company, even i have complaints so many times and the complaint number is C[protected] dt. 26.01.2011, C[protected] dt. 27.01.2011 & c[protected] dt. 30.01.2011.Kindly look in to the matter and solve my problem at the earliest.

My customer ref No is [protected]. Last time Germ Killer Battery Kit was replaced by the company rep the very next day of my complaining/demanding over the phone. But now the service by the company has deteriorated. FROM 1 ST AUGUST I AM CONTACTING THEM TO GET A NEW GKB SET, but till to day it is not served. Every time they politely say that in next 2 days it will be served. On 25th they told same day itself before 8 pm it will be done. BUT NOT DONE. I AM FED UP.
