I am using a Hindustan Unilever Pure it which needs an immediate change of Battery. I am trying the helpline numbers [protected],[protected] and [protected] since last night but the line disconnects in between. No one is even calling me back. I have wasted my 80 to 90 rupees in calling them. I STRICTLY CONDEMN THEIR SERVICES!

Pure It — NOT WORKING AND NOT RESPOND

Sir,

I regret to Complain you that the Pure-It installed provided at my home is not working satisfactorily as per the specifications given in the user-Manual about the device.It has been specified that the device normally takes 3 to 3.5hrs to filter the water and send it from 1st chamber(upper one) and 2nd Chamber(Lower one).But in my Case the water occupies the lower chamber within 5 mins after its filled and when i Complained about the same to the service personnel who had visited my premises, he tried to mis-lead me by telling that the mechanism works within 5mins.So now what i am thinking is why should i just take a Divided steel water Bottle and assume that i am getting purified water instead of throwing it away.

I am requesting them to change my germkill battery from the last one week and every time they making all false promises to come to my residence with in 24 working hours but till date no one turned up. Yes, This is the third grade service provided by the sales people. Hope they will continue the same to spoil the name of the company.

Pure It — Not functioning

Hi My name is sijo joseph. I brought a pureit on last year . Its not working properly . Some green colour funges is forming inside the pure it. we changed the battery even though its not working. we called customer care so many times .No response from there side.My no is [protected].

    Today, as I write this letter of discontent, the myth that Hindustan Unilever Limited is a company of great dispute is shattered, at least for me.

    Over a month has passed since I placed an order for a germkill battery set. Barring a few phone calls from your executives, nothing worth consumer satisfaction has been done so far.

    Your TV ads declaring 1 crore prize to the discoverer of a better purifier seems a bamboozeling hocus-pocus. We drink filthy water these days, thanks to the HUL Pureit.

    I expect an early order delivery and compensation for the harrasment meted out. Otherwise, legal address remains the only choice left to us.

    I strongly agree with you sir! Even I am one of the HUL Pure it's harrassed customer. They are having the most horrifying after sales service on earth. Their 'Helpline number' is the real threat. And its amazing to know that in spite of all these complaints they are not doing anything.
    Do hell with HUL pure it!!! I am going to sue them for sure!!!

      I had bought Pure It waster Purifier which is Installed 2 In My home and 2 In My office too when the time of replacement germ Kill Batter system we had informed their call centore Number but even after 3 Months they havent changed the Kit Now the purifiers are useless because of Non Availability of this kit.

      pure it water purifier — Germkill battery not working - battery door broken

      The germ kill battery was last replaced in 09/2008. Since then the water is not properly purified. Further the batter door was broken. The color of the product is 'blue'.

      This complained to the help line four time in this month. No executive attended to the complaint so far.
      Yes, The same is happening with me also

        I have bought a pureit water purifier unit (Serial number - MSM[protected])from the above company. This water purifier has a Germ kill kit which need to be replaced as and when it is over. The one and only process for replacement as per the company is to call up the customer care and order a replacement. And company promised to replace it within 48 hours any where in India.

        I bought the unit from Bangalore and relocated to Mangalore and live in center of Mangalore. I have made request to replace the Germ kit on 5th of march and the company closed my case without attending my complaint or even without even calling me up once. Again I called up and again they closed the case without attending. This way I have called up more than 15 time the company doesn’t have the details of my calls on 5th. I have the message received from them on 5th of April.

        I need this Germ kit at the earliest because this cannot be bought from outside and has to be given by the company itself. This has brought number of problems to my day to day life

          In a moment of bad judgement, I bought a PUREIT water filter about three weeks back. Since then I have been requesting for a technician to come and install the equipment and demonstrate its working. Even after a delay of 20 days and at least ten complaints, I am sorry to say no technician has attended to our complaint. On checking it is seen that the complaints are shown as attended whereas the technicians never even visited our house. Now I am regretting my decision to buy the water filter. However I plan to continue my efforts to make the service technician visit our house and demonstrate its working.

            I am using pure it since 3-4 months. Today I found some Ant in water dispenser, When I checked whole purifier I found there are Several Ant in it’s all chamber including upper one. So I could not understand If pure it could not stop Ant to come down from upper chamber to lower one from inside of purifier so how it can Stop germs. It is very serious issue about the health of a person So Please help me to that what should I do because One company is cheating us.

            If company will not contact me I will take help from Consumer forum.

            I have the same problem, I find ants merrily walking around in the water chamber that is supposedly "sterile". It is disgusting.

                Battery replacement

                Myself Sabyasachi Roy,purchased a Pure it Compact model:RPBC[protected] from a kirana store and when I am going to change the battery of the purifier,there is no reply from your customer service desk.Everytime I am calling to them and they are showing to distributor/deler...........what is this?????? If,you are launching any new product to the market,there should be a proper information to your customer service people.

                Residing at Mahaveer enclave Rameswaram Mndamvelli Kochi . given a complaint for replacement of pure it water filter battery on 13 Mar 10. my complaint no is C[protected]. assurance of replacement is given for 48 hours but not being attended till now. if not able to provide the battery replacement on time there is no use of the product. so i humbly request u to look into the matter n provide the batter replacement on time. awaiting for ur promt and best services ....

                Pure - it — not respond to Customer Service

                sir/madam my name is arun i will Request for battery change Have been requesting for changing the battery in the Pure - it water filter on 19/08/2008 to your Customer care Service help line But the person doesnot come i can not use your pure-it i dont like your service what i do plz send your reply ...

                I totally agree with the above complain the same thing is happening with my family as well.For last one month at least 20 nos of calls i had made to request them to come and change the battery kit, every time i am being told the tomorrow it will be replaced.But this tomorrow never comes for last 1 month.This can be rated as one of the worst service i am facing in recent times.

                I am also facing the same problem with Pureit. I have been requesting for the battery kit replacement for the past one month. I made many phone calls to Customer care of Pureit. Everytime they tell sorry for not supplying the kit and they want 48 hours for replacement. It has been very bad experience for me sofar. If Pureit can not supply the battery kits to the customers, they should tell clearly that they can not supply.

                I had purchased 01 unit of Pure it water filter from Suyog Enterprises,Laketown,Kolkata.The sales representative was Amit Deb vide their invoice no.IS09/1964-649 dt 16.6.09.On delivering the unit and installing the same,and learning about our consumption of water,he informed us that the battery would last for about 8-10 months.But to my utter dismay,the battery lapsed much earlier.On 2nd October,I found that the battery had already lapsed.Upon complaining at their helpline,I was told that someone from their end would visit my house within 3 days and check as to why the battery lapsed so early.But nobody turned up till end of day 5th October.I again called up the helpline no. and spoke to one Mr.Kaushik,who again gave me a timeline of 2 days.Further more,he asks me the location of the filter in my house.Upon informing that it was installed in the kitchen,he says that it should not be installed in the kitchen and should have been kept either in the bedroom or any other place but no the kitchen.I wonder,if a water filter is a device to be kept in the bedroom!!!

                I now deeply regret my decision of having purchased this unit hen nobody from the manufacturer's end is able to provide proper guidance/after sales service.I had tried calling the Amit Deb(sales representative) but he too is not responding.

                Seek your help in getting this resolved.

                I Agree.I am also from Kochi. The after sales service is very bad. In my case I have booked the battery kit on 3rd March and I have called 4-5 times to the helpline to get an update. I have even recieved SMS saying that your complaint has been resolved. Is there any way we can get the address of the local sales/service company so we can get the battery and replace by ourself.
                I think this is one worst of worst customer support i ever had. They'll not respond to calls, if respond they lie.
                Even for new sales.

                When i called up on pure IT help line I got the worst customer treatment ever in my life.

                When I asked "tum logo ko dhanda nehin karna hai" that said, nehin karna, dubara ph nehin karna, . 2 times he disconnectedthe ph.

                The only good thing was, "Welcome to pure it helip line" nothing else. If this is how you treat your new customer then how you will give service after sales
                m from the area of tarnaka in hyderabad...it's been like three months since we bought the Hindustan unilever product pure it...there has been a problem...water leaks out from the battery place...i have been complaining about this to the customer care people from the past month...and there has been no response whatsoever...if this is how customers are treated after the sales then why sell in the first place...it is so really frustrating...when i call up the help line number they say our that our technicians will get back to you in 48 hours and they'd call you before showing up...and the thing is...they NEVER show...they've got the worst customer care ever!!!
                my customer order no s IS10/KCH[protected] this is the second request no. which was give 2 me 8 days before . For 1st request 1 waited nearly for a month . still how many request r u expecting ... i am in cochin so will see weather this complain will help me r not..
                I called the customer care ( [protected] ) on 20th of this month to buy one Pure IT marvel also requested for a demo . They promised me to provide the service on next day that is on 21st . But till now no one attend my request . This is the worst service I got .

                    I have bought pure it water purifier on 10th feb.2009.i use it singally (around 4 litres of water filtered everyday).its battery life indicator started declining in only 5 months o[censored]se & was completely RED around NOVEMBER 2009, and since then it has been passing (i dont know that without battery how it is filtering) water.
                    please hear to it.

                      Dear Sir,


                      This is to bring it to your kind ur kind notice that Mr.Shrinivas D. Patil resident of #99,Vijaynagar Extension,Near Lions School,Hubli-580032,Karnataka bearing cell.no.[protected] would like inform u that the pureit system was purchased by me during Aug-2009 and was working fine until Jan-2010 when I first replaced the battery kit for Rs.365.00.

                      Then I found that on Feb 14th 2010 the water started coming out of the battery indicator and called up the helpdesk stating the problem.They diverted the call to the local distributor and the representative informed that the battery is exhausted due to heavy usage and we need to replace the battery again.I got in touch with the hepdesk again and again as to how the new battery exhausted so early in just 25 days and the older one for 5 months with regular usage of 5-6 litres.They told that they will speak to the distributor and get it replaced or repaired.

                      But till today i am still in the processof logging a complaint but the problem is sorted out.The complaint nos are C[protected],C[protected] and so on .I am also in regular touch with Mr.Rakesh from helpdesk and also the representative at Hubli,Karnataka Mr.Basavaraj-cell no.[protected].I have also recorded the telephonic conversations of the helpdesk and the local reprentative.I think that unilever is more interested in boasting of it's company products and fooling the customers with false commitments.

                      Lastly to conclude I could analyze that either the helpdesk is helpless or the spares supplied by unilever are of substanded quality or the distributor or the reprentatives are playing mischief with the customers.Hence I am going to file a legal suite against the company and the distributor at the consumer forum if the probelm is not sorted out immediately.

                      Kindly look over the matter and do the needful at the earliest.

                        I have purchased a pure it waterfilter from Jay super market , nashik road Sr. No. RPB[protected] ON 18/07/2010.

                        From last 3 -4 days we observed that the filter is leaking from the bottom. we emptyed the filter and observe from the bottom that there is a hair line crack at the bottom, from which the water is leaking. We approached the dealer, he contacted the service center and we were asked to purchase a new dual chamber costing Rs. 425. but following points I must mention
                        1) At the time of purchase the dealer told us that 1 year warranty is available on the product, but when the complaint is raised, it was told to us that the warranty is only for tap.
                        2) The service center persons are very sure that the filter has been mishandle and it is dropped down.
                        3) They are not ready to listen any thing other than paying Rs. 425.00

                          This mail is regarding a well deserved praise to the services provided by your pureit department.
                          As my experiences with service department of each and every company has not been so good, I expected the same secondary level of quality from HUL but fortunately my expectations were proven wrong by pureit service team.

                          I was pleasingly surprised to see that the serviceman used the sanitizer at first and then before doing anything further he properly cleaned the whole device with tissue paper.

                          Honestly speaking, this kind of service and hygiene consciousness in India is unexpected(which is an unfortunate thing).

                          After the service was done Pureit office called me Up and confirmed about the status of my satisfaction towards service. Then he asked various questions regarding the service which I answered positively.

                          At the end I would like to praise the whole service team for taking care of the customer satisfaction. That was my best experience with any service department I have ever come across with. I hope this good work will carry On.

                          Pure It — Regarding the servicing personnel

                          Hello,
                          I had requested for replacment of the battery kit. The service personnel replaced it and accidently broken a part of thr product. He told he will replace the same the next day. Having waited for 1 week I lodged a complaint with PureIt helpline. Even after the complaint they are bothered to replace the broken part.

                          I recommnend not to purchase this product. Thier service personnel is very indefferent and irresponsible.

                          I am very much satisfied with the service provided by the Purit water purifier agent M Durgaprasad (mobile [protected]). He has explained and given the demo perfectly. Thanks to Mr. M Durgaparasad for his good work and All the Best to Purit department of Hindustan unilever for having such good marketing person.

                          Pure It — service

                          I am a customer of pureit from last 8 months. I am happy with the kind of service received. I appreciate the way technician provided me additional information about the product. Hindustan Lever Company really rocks. It keeps on providing us useful products on which we can count upon. Recently I brought its product Pureit Marvella . Its design, its working and the quality of water that it provides is really up to the mark. Even its servicing is so quick. Whenever we call on customer care for any kind of technician help or any kind of clarification, the technician visits our place the same day and guides us about its usage and clears all our doubts. I always wanted to use this product carefully as water is the most important thing in our life, for this i called about 4-5 times for technician help and every time i was entertained same day, they never hesitate to give the service, and by this now I am totally satisfied with this product as well as its quick service .
                          Pureit actually gives pure water. I want to congratulate Hindustan Unilever for this Kind of product and service. I have and i will recommend this product to my relatives and friends.

                            I have purchased a pure it waterfilter from Jay super market , nashik road Sr. No. RPB[protected] ON 18/07/2010.

                            From last 3 -4 days we observed that the filter is leaking from the bottom. we emptyed the filter and observe from the bottom that there is a hair line crack at the bottom, from which the water is leaking. We approached the dealer, he contacted the service center but following points I must mention

                            1) Before seeing the defect, the response from the service center is " Aisa Ho hi nahi sakata.. This crack is not possible. you must have dropped the unit.The warrantee does not covers breakage.You have to pay Rs.425" We as a user are sure that we have not done any jugglery with the instrument and this crack is a jenuine manufacturing defect. My request is I should get a new bottom pot.
                            2) This is an embarrasement to me that even one year is not completed to the unit and I have to bear this cost for no fault of mine.
                            3) I am really frustrated by seeing the approach of company like Hindustan UniLever.

                            I have nothing more to add, One thing is clear for me that henceforth I will not purchase any more products from this company.I am a very small customer for a very big company like you. I have made a mistake that I have purchased this product from you. At the time of purchasing the customer is treated as god, once the money is received from the customer, the customer is treated as begger in your after sales service.

                              We purchased Hindustan Pureit in June 09 and it was working ok for the initial months.
                              Later as the indicator was showing red to replace battery, it was changed with a cost of Rs.500 with a promise of 2000 ltrs hassle free working in the month of Sept 09 and now the process is dead slow but the indicator is still in full white colour and doesnt indicate to replace even a bit.
                              Why is this happening?
                              we have cleaned all the chambers but in vain.

                              I bought a water purifier model no. - RPMO[protected] on dt. 27/4/10 from Electra distributer pvt.ltd
                              B-29 Near Rama place, Faridabad. I was told that a battery purifies at least 1500 litres water. But I am sorry to say
                              that my first battery lasted for 42 days only without purifying stipulated litres of water.
                              I had to purchase the second battery on 14/6/10 for Rs. 365/-. It lasted for only 15 days.

                              C[protected] dt 7/7/10, C[protected] dt. 14/7/10). I talked to Mr. Parveen on Phone No. - [protected],

                              It is definitely a black spot on your reputation. I want you to take back the whole purifier and replace with a new one.

                                I am using your product 'PURE-IT' water purifier since last one year. Every time I used to get good service from you. But this time I experienced very bad with your service. For change of battery, I have booked (order No.S10/AHM[protected] order on 18/2/2010 on phone no.[protected]. It was promised by your agency, to solve the problem within 72 hours. Today the date is 23/2/2010 still it is not solved. We the family of six members were facing water problem and punished by your company.
                                Last 3-4 days I have talked with your representatives Mr.Zakir and Mr.Pranav etc. to change the battery of my purifier. (Complaint No.C[protected].) Every time they say that, there is no stock of battery. I am asking that, when you do not have the stock of battery, can't you inform us timely? At least you people should follow-up the complaint and should inform the customer about the status of the battery.
                                One thing is sure that, by delaying the change of battery, you are not going to give the battery free of cost, we have to pay for that, then why don't you change the battery in time. Have we made mistake in buying or using Pure-it? Or you people are compelling us to change over to some other R.O. plant or other purifier? How will you compensate this punishment?
                                I am totally dissatisfied with your service. You may not know that, through my reference I have recommended two other people to purchase Pure-it. For this good cause, I am punished and paying for it.
                                By this letter I regret to say that, please do not punish any other customer like this. I pray that, what I am suffering today, other customer should not be suffered. I do not know when my problem is to be solved.
                                But one thing is sure, in future I will not recommend your product to others. Because, I and my family members were suffering drinking 'Pure-it' water problem since 18th February, 2010.

                                  this is to inform u that about a product of hindustan unileaver company product pure it water purifier that in 2009 when the launch the product they committed their customer's about lifetime free service against like washing, but now they are using company policies as their defence and charged INR 50.00 for the servicing a product and instead of the service is very poor if a person make a call in the starting of the month they will take the month end after making many calls to resolve the problem.
                                  overall the product is worthless. kindly look into the matter

                                    I have registered for a Pureit Battery Replacement on 10.02.2010 to the call centre. They said it would be delievered within 2 working days or max 72 Hrs. I called up again on 19.02.2010 for the update. They said there is no complaint registered in my name. I raised a complaint to the service manager in local. He said it would be delievered within 8 pm on same day. Yet to be delievered, and today is 20.02.2010.

                                    We have to make sure that Products they sell in the market, they give lot of false promises to the ppl and sell the product and later they never even respect or care the customer which is pathetic.

                                    Inspite of reminding 4 times in a span of 1 month, i am still kept in dark about the replacement of battery kit. Everytime I contact them at 28237373, they say that it will bne delivered the same day, They don't have the previous record of our complaint. They also refuse to give the ph no of the service executive. Well it is time to throw it in dustbin.

                                    This has been height of Service flaws, every time you register for Germ Kill Battery, you should forget and you will surely get in 7 days if you keep follow up

                                    The preference of the company is to sell new appliances, if you want new they will reach you in 30 minutees, but if you want replacement of germ kill kit you have to call customer care 100 times, there is some problem in attitude of company they should stop giving so many adds

                                    I am very disappointed with the service provided to me with in last 15 days. (from 1st June).

                                    My Purit filer needs a replacement of "GKB Battery" and I am calling the Pureit Support Centre since last 15 days. The executives taking the call says that the service would be provided within 48 hours.
                                    But, no service is provided as of now and when I call back and complaint about this, the executives says "its our technical problem and we'll try to make within next 48 hours".
                                    Again the service is not provided. When I ask their SLA, they don't know about it. When I ask to connect me to their Manager, they just disconnect the call.

                                    I still don't know when I would get the service or will get it at all or not. This is very disapponiting and very unhygienic to drink unpure water even if I have Filter at my home.
                                    I am sure that you must be aware of the quality of water supplied in areas of Delhi. I am a man with family and because of the BAD service I am not being able to have hygienic water to drink for
                                    my family.

                                    I want the battery to be replaced ASAP and hence I would appreciate if you take prompt action on my complaint.

                                      I have purchased a water purifer on 18.11.2009 from your one of prestiges dealer but I very regret to inform your that I have remained many times to your representatives on call centre for installation, but not body attend for the installation till date and every time when I remained for the installation a message reached on my mobile that your complaint has been attend. My two complaint Nos. is 1018906, C[protected], then after till date no body can attend for installation/demo. At this time I have already installed at my lelvel, but the purifier is not working properly, then I request you to please send the representative for proper installation/demo. You are requested to please treat it most urgent. If you can't solve my problem after 3 months from date of purchase I have only the way to go to the consumer court only.
