[Resolved]  Hindustan Unilever PureIT Water Purifier — Pathetic Customer Service

I have given atleast 5 complaints in the past 15-20 days on replacing a battery kit along with a missing part called WES Nut which has not been attended to at all inspite of calling the call center to inquire about the status of the complaint. There is too much of communication problem between the call center and the office that has been assigned to replace the parts. The people who visit our house to provide the services are very rude and the call center people are cold to any complaints you give. They just keep giving false assurances that the problem will be taken care of but in vain.

Hindustan Unilever- PureIt — pathetic customer service

This is a subject of abject misery that a company like Hindustan Unilever takes no guarantee of the products sold and make its customer suffer without any rectifying support. I bought a PureIt filter from the compnay franchise in first week of October. My mother got the installation done. The sales guy installed a defective piece with bottom portion of filter leaking profusely which we got to know later. The sales personal did not even showcased entire flow during demo. in the evening when we lodged a complaint at customer service they promised to send a technician. The series of calls at customer care and with the sales guy 'Dilip Kumar' continued for 15 days. finally the technician name 'Dushyant' came and certified that the bottom part is broken. It has been another 1 week and I have not yet heard from anyone from the company. Dilip does not pick up the phone and Dushyant puts everything on his head. The worst was today mornig when finally Dushant agreed to send some other person. He kept me and my husband waiting for 2 hrs and still when called asked for another 45 mins to reach our home. I am really frustrated with the quqlity of their product, the recklessness in the attitude of support team and the insincerity. I will definitely report it in customer court and would like to warn all the prospective users about probable consequences. Please make a wise choice for this utility item.

In Fact in the present scenerio it is common that the sales team behave differently after sales.Before purchaging the product you will be assured for everything but lateron their attitude will be different.We the poorcustomer feel cheated by the big companies whom we believe that they are good and caring.I too have some thing to tell to Hindustan Unilever about pure it.Are they listening? Ye Bharose Ka Swal Hai.
The Pureit call center just keeps assigning complaint numbers but nothing seems to be done about addressing the issue. I have been given the following complaint numbers C[protected], C[protected], C[protected], and Order Details are S10/MUM[protected]. The pureit executive turned up twice to my place with only the battery kit but not the other missing part which would not help and mentioned call center has not given any instructions on the WES nut which I have clearly mentioned on all calls to be replaced on high priority. They just donot seem to follow instructions and are not bothered about customer problems. They just need to sell their product and after that they don't care what and how the customer suffers.
I am also facing the same problem. Order to change the Germ Kill Kit one month back but nobody came to replace the same. Now when it was completely red then again placed the order 5 months back and even after giving 20-25 calls nobody came to change the same and as Mr Drgirijapati mentioned, I am also facing the same problem.

Guys, I would suggest that dont go for Hindustan Puriet, their service is very bad even Government Office services mey be considered better than HUL.

I had booked a Germkill Battery on July 07, 2010. The order number is S10/DLI[protected]. I was told the delivery would happen in 48 hours, as usual. When it was not delivered, I called up again and lodged a complaint. The complaint No. is C[protected]dated 9 July, 2010). I also placed order for another one- vide order number S10/DLI[protected]dated 9 July 2010). So in all I have ordered for two. Till date not even one has been delivered. Subsequently I inquired about it ten times more and complained as many times. These complaint numbers are: C10242035, C[protected]. Surprisingly after one such conversation I got text message stating your complaint has been attended to and is being closed. It also asked for feedback to which I responded saying I am not satisfied. I don't know what "complaint has been addressed and attended to" mean, as the underlying point in that complaint is non-delivery of the Germkill Battery, which is still due. You may find all my correspondence against my mobile number [protected] in your system. I am surprised at the attitude and level of service provided.
