[Resolved]  Hitachi 1. 5 Ton Split AC — HITACHI FREQUENT PCB CARD FAULTY

I BOUGHT HITACHI 1.5 TON SPLIT AC MODEL NO RAC018GPD ON[protected] . I HAVE PURCHASED THIS AC ALONG WITH STABILIZER FROM M/S KANDIONERS SALES PVT LTD. , MEERUT . SINCE THEN THE PCB BOARD HAS BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES . IT COSTS ME RS 2000/- EACH TIME . THIS HITACHI PRODUCT HAS IRRITATED ME A LOT AND I HAVE TO INCUR HUGE LOSS ON ITS REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE. THE COMPANY SHOULD CHANGE MY UNIT , BECAUSE THE DEALER IS NOT PAYING ANY ATTENTION TOWARDS IT .NOW IT IS NOT WORKING SINCE YESTERDAY . RECENTLY I GOT THE PCB REPLACED IN THE MONTH OF MAY' 2012. PL CHANGE THE UNIT IMMEDIATELY , AS IT IS A MANUFACTURING DEFECT .- SANJAY RASTOGI , 241-7 BEGUM BAGH MEERUT.

I have bought a 1.5 ton 3 star Ac last year in June' 2016. used only 3 months in which faced 2 times gas leakage problem and now this year Aug'2017 two days back Ac stop responding when i requested for service, found PCB problem. technician is charging INR 3000 + GST + 500 + GST ( visiting charge) approx Amount INR 4600.
Not gonna buy any Hitachi product again.

My Hitachi 1.5 Ton split AC (RAS318KRD110D11439) is not giving the requisite cooling effect this season also. While for the same fault, the so called authorized agency for repairing i.e."Hitachi Home & Life Solution, Aditya Services" replaced the original PCB on 20/7/14 with guarantee of 6 moths. The guarantee itself has no meaning at all. Nobody will run AC on October, Nov. to March in Delhi keeping with the view of cost of electricity.However I doubt the replaced PCB is genuine one as it was open with out any sealed cover and not able to detect whether it is new one or not by a lay man like me. They were reluctant to return the replace PCB (Original) which I had marked on the PCB. After some argument they returned some but not the original one. Other one returned by making excused of mixing my original PCB with other defective PCBs. I had talked and complained but in vain. Practically the tenure of the replaced PCB is not even 6 months. 2014-1month, 2015- 4month, 2016-1 months. The Hitachi company is fooling the customers by this was with giving the repair services to some so called ----- Agencies and subsequently 6 months guarantee after replacing a new PCB. Guarantee should have according to the seasons when AC will be working.

My advise with the Hitachi customer is that "don't trust the Hitachi authorized agencies". Repair if needed do it from known local repair center from where you may personally argue. It will be cheap and may be more genuine. I have done the same for the other Hitachi 1.5 AC and got far more better result . Paid Rs.1100/- only instead of Rs.3970/- and other harassment . The other Hitachi AC is woring fine this season also.You may approach easily. Hitachi company dose not bother to listen after one their product is sold. Also don not buy Voltage Stabilizer from the shop from where you are going to buy AC.

I have got one DAIKIN product of 1.5 split AC which is working efficiently and with more cooling effect even after 3 years.

I have taken new ac 1.5 ton since 1 month ago and now its PCB got defect.

I have called to customer care and technical man who came to repair but it has taken a week and they said that its PCB is not available here.

I really dont know if you guys are not providing services then why selling the product.

Never buy hitachi Ac. Fake product .. No Service...

Wow so many PCB complains. I took a 1.5ton RAU518CWEA in 2016 from chroma and in 1.5 year the PCB is gone. Luckily I'm covered with 2 years extended warranty. Hitachi is loosing it's brand name with such manufacturers defective parts frequently. My ac is still not repaired waiting for them to get spare PCB and hope it's original. AMC with Onsite Go through Chroma.

The Onsite Go service sent me a mail saying it will take 10 days to source the PCB and I have saved Rs 8950 as it is covered in extended warranty.
I recommend all to take an extended warranty to avoid high cost spares. Does anyone know for up to how many rears can we extend the warranty as now I'm getting nervous.

Hi .. I bought a 1.5 Ton Hitachi Split AC "RAU518IVD" in Apr 2015 for Rs. 45000. Its just been 3 years and there are number of faults in this AC, few to mention as follows :

- Most Common Problem its seems with Hitatchi ACs: PCB issue. Supply not sent to Outdoor unit
- Auto swing not working
- Gas Leakage

I think I made the biggest mistake in buying this Hitachi AC .

Looking at complaints above, it seems PCB thing crops up again and again . So I have to bear this Rs 4000 + Tax, every second or third year. THATS BAD !!!

I have an O-General AC too and its been 10 years I have been using it and there is no issue what so ever in that AC, except that once the Gas was refilled and that understandable.

I purchase 1.5 tonn 5 star split Hitach AC from go zefo gurgaon and its warranty expire in july, Problem is its service and PCB card which is repaire 2-3 times now they are not agree to provide extend warranty.. i think that product is defective and not to be longer because pcb problem retaining.i[censored] can help me pls suggest.

I have a issue with my Hitachi Inverter AC, K 300i, 1.5Ton, bought in May 2015. In recent service breakdown it was concluded that Outdoor unit PCB has gone bad & that causing compressor cut-off. The service person mentioned that the replacement cost is close to INR 10.5K. Does it really cost that much? if yes, it so painful to bare the cost, after buying the A/C at INR 55K. I have three A/C's from Hitachi & I am really worried if any above issues observed in coming days.
I think you should have reasonable price list for after sales support to keep up your brand & customer good will.

I have some issue regarding Hitachi inverter AC 410. When I purchase than problem in PCB. Replaced by company in 10 days. Now this year also I report about not function of out door unit.checked by support staff.and told that falt in PCB.After a week PCB replaced but not working...than again told PCB may foult but after 10 day checked and told that outer unit control unit foult and replace with a cost of 9190/.It is not fair practice my mob no. Same pcb problem. After one month they still not repaired our AC. If you dont have extra spare parts please shut your business in india. Within 2 years our AC not working and compare to other brands Hitachi is expensive too. Worst product.
Extremely disappointed & feel cheated by Hitachi due to pathetic service and cheating customers by selling fake and defected inverter split AC.I purchased Hitachi Inverter AC in mid 2019.Soon after buying the product it started leaking water and I ended up repairing it thrice which costed me a lot.Now in 2021 June, the AC stopped working again and Hitachi after keeping me waiting for 6 days says the PCB/mother board in the compressor as well as the AC unit has stopped working.Hitachi is quoting approx 10, 000 rs for the PCB board replacement in compressor and approx 4, 500 rs for the PCB board service in the AC unit plus repair charges.Total repair cost is 15, 000+ only 2 years after purchasing and not to forget the additonal repair charges for leakage in the past 2 years which cost approx 6, 000 rs.This is extremely expensive and the repeated repairs and maintenance cost of this defected piece is more than the cost of the AC itself.The Hitachi technician also mentioned that I need a stabiliser, then why is Hitachi selling this AC as inverter ac to customers and cheat them so blatantly? There are lot of complaints on faulty pcb in hitachi ac, we customers rightfully need a replacement as this is so unfair.Please look into this issue and do not cheat customers like this, it is out hard earned money and we dont get it easily.I think this also calls for the public to be made aware through social media platforms.Clients should not be fooled and taken for granted this way.Please resolve asap

I had bought Hitachi Inverter AC and earlier the PCB of outdoor unit didn't function so I had to replace paying 12000 rupees. Now again am facing the same issue, which apparently goingby the community's response isn't unique to me. Is the PCB really worth 12000 rupees ?
I am going for a AC change rather than having to pay 12000 every year.

I received call from Hitachi Service Center quoting me 12000 for outdoor PCB unit.
This has become a yearly affair now.
Its a very poor design by Hitachi AC unit and going by the series of complaints I am not alone on this.
