We bought our 2 ton Hitachi Window Ac from Pankaj Electronics Massod pur Vasant Kunj New Delhi on 18/ 3/ 12 . Its defective since we bought after many complaints & there visits they replaced the AC 2/ 6/ 12 but the new machine also had the same problem & they tried to repair it but worked for 2 days only & of no use the problem still exists . The knocking sound & as well the thermostat not working . There services are very poor & it seems the company is not bothered about the complaints we never expected this from a company like Hitachi .

hitachi 2 ton window ac — frequently trip

i bought 2 tin windioc from MANORANJAN, KOTA in july 2011
it frequenty trips though i have attached stablizer 130-290 and 32 ampere mcb with it
no reply and action taken by deale
please look into the matter
absolutely agreed. I'm facing same problem with Hitachi support after sales service is useless . I'm filing consumer court action soon.

    Hi, I am Aditi. I bought a new AC from CROMA, Sector 22, Chandigarh on May 6, 2012. The AC got delivered on May 9, 2012. The piece which was delivered was damaged. I have logged the complaint so many times in Customer Care department but no response. I ave called in Service Center also but yet no response. Please help me............

      I bought and got installed a new Hitachi Kaze 3Star Window A/C from Hitachi Authorized Dealer – “New Pankaj Electronics, Shop No.6, B-6, DDA Shopping Complex Mayur Vihar Phase-1, Delhi – 110091 ( Ph[protected]”
      The A/C was bought on 13May 2012, and was noisy from Day1 . I filed a complaint on 1st june, after which Hitachi engineer visited, did some fan adjustment, and claim complaint was resolved. A/c Started making the same noise immediately after he left. I went out-station for 2 weeks, and after returning, again filed a complaint on 3rd July 2012 with Hitachi, Same engineer (Javed – Ph-[protected]) visited again, and this time noticed that fan was defective (broken casing), He informed me that he will get it replaced next day. After no response for 2 days, I contacted him again, he asked me to contact his senior Nadeem ( Ph – [protected]), I called Nadeem and he said that this was a defective plastic piece and so won’t be covered in warranty, I should contact his senior Mohit ( ph – [protected]) . I informed my problem to Mohit that my A/C is defective since day1, and I was being bullied and made to run from one person to another.. He too was of no help, he gave me his senior’s Number – Mr Shiv Kumar – [protected]) . This number was always unreachable. I also contacted “New Pankaj Electronics” , who claimed installation is perfect from their side, and they have no responsibility. It’s the company that is at fault.

      What is my fault in all this - I bought a TOP company A/C from its authorized dealer, and its not working since day 1 ( ~ 15th May, and I am complaining regularly since then, and after 1.5 months, there is still no resolution.. I am absolutely harassed by your company officials and your dealer.. Please let me know if there is some one who can help ( without redirecting me to next person), or is consumer court the only alternative.

        I have purchased one Hitachi 1.5 T Window AC (twin motor - 5 star), the purchase details and nature of the complaint and the sequence of events so far have been enumerated in the succeeding paragraphs:-

        2. Purchase Details. The AC (RAT518ESD- 5 Star- 1.5 T Window) has been purchased from Vijay Sales, Delhi (Dwarka) - Invoice number78-DDW06-12SIAO 222 dated 27 Jun 12.

        3. Nature of Complaint. On installation, I observed that the cooling is poor and moreover there is no change in the cooling even on reducing the temperature to 16 degree Celsius.

        4. Registering of the Complaint. I called the customer call center no[protected] at Delhi and was given the complaint number - [protected] and was told that the technician would attend to the complaint after calling me and the same happened.

        5. Action Taken on Complaint. One technician contacted me at 1154 hrs on 03 Jul 12 and told me that he would attend the complaint at 1330 hrs and he did come to my residence around the same time. After spending about 20 odd minutes he realized that the grill temperature cannot be measured as the temperature meter he is carrying is not working. I asked him that what would happen to my complaint, he replied that he will come back at 1730 hrs, however no one came to attend the complaint and neither did I receive any call from anyone. To my surprise when I again called the customer care, I was told that the complaint has been attended. I said, yes technically it has been attended but it's not resolved and the situation is the same for me. Then, on inquiring , what next?, I was told to write a mail to this address. Since then I have called the customer service a number of times but only got lip service from them.

        6. I hope, this is not a part of a bigger organized fraud of selling defective ACs to innocent customers and tiring them up with these procedural activities instead of really acting to resolve the complaints.

          I bought Hitachi iClean Split AC 1.5 Ton on 29-Apr-2012, from Rythm House, Sect-18, Noida.
          After one and half a month, its cooling started getting low. When we made a complaint registered on 25-Jun-2012, they said it will be attended with in 48 hours. 9 days have been elapsed and even after several reminders, no one turned up to attend the issue.

          The problems that I see:
          1. Rude call center staff
          2. They just don't forward the call to some senior for escalation
          3. Call center is in Gujarat, so you'll have to make costly STD calls to call center -- just to listen music while you are in queue

            I Purchased a Hitachi 2 litres A.C.(split) for my shop on 8th March, 2010 from M/S. Golden Refrigeration Co., kolkata. I had some problem in the compressor (outdoor unit) so i made a complain to hitachi service centre regarding the same on 30th may,2012, the complain no. for the same being [protected]. i was told that it will attended in next 48hours but till date there is no response nor did any technician visited.

            Hitachi Air Conditioner — no service response

            Hitachi customer service is worst i have experienced , worst than the local makers
            i registered my service request 20 times at there customer care center but nothing moved , only false promises
            i talked to there service manager at Noida Mr Deepak Mishra three times ,he also gave false assurances
            till date i am struggling can any one give me any help.

            Hitachi Air Conditioner — No Response

            This to inform you about the standards of client service Hitachi provides.

            I had registered a complaint on 9th May 2012, regarding my Air condoitioner Capacity 1.5T. The problem is of Ice Formation. But regeret to infom you that even after many follow-ups, nobody has bothered to contact me. This is after receiving promises that the complaint be attended by the EOD. But nobody even contacted me leave alone attending to the complaint.

            I would like to know the available remedy for me. How can i get my AC repaired? Yesterday i have also registered the complaint on the website, but i dont have any hopes from that also.

              We are having a hotel in Asansol, West Bengal. We have purchased a Number of AC from your Distributor named "CHILLERS" from kolkata. We are facing a lot of problem against the product.
              We are having Three(3) AC of 7.5 Ton out of which TWO(2) are not working.
              We are having TWO(2) AC of 2.5 Ton out of which all are not working.
              We are having TWO(2) AC of 1.5 Ton out of which all are not working.

              But the tresult was vain. We only got the assurance that the guys are going to visit the place and will charge the money for visiting which we were ready for but till this date no one visited.

                With respect I want to inform you that my AC is not working properly from the beginning. For that I complained to the customer care. My complain no. is [protected] dated 4th June 2012. But no technician visited my house till date. Every day I am calling the customer care & they are telling the technician will visit tomorrow. In local service centre no one is receiving the phone call. One more thing I want to inform you that there are same complain of the people from my area.
                So I request you to look into the matter and take necessary action against the people who is responsible for the negligence.
                Further I want to inform you that if no one visited my house I bound to take shelter of law.

                  I purchased Hitachi Kampa Split A.C. in May 2012.From the day one i have been harassed and 2 months have passed I have not been able to use the A.C. for a single day. Below is the description of what happened in order:
                  1) The dealer provided the wrong fitting kit which had thinner copper tubes and the technician welded the pipe on ends to make it thick without us knowing and fitted the A.C. in most shabby way.
                  2)As the fitting was done in a very poor state the gas leaked and cooling stopped.
                  3)We informed dealer and technician about cooling issue and they kept saying that its very hot weather.
                  4) Finally I complained on 15th June to customer care, complain#[protected] and was given assurance that someone will contact soon.
                  5)After waiting for 3-4 days we didn’t get any response so we travelled to Kanpur to the service station Popular Cooling and persuaded the person MrAjay to send some one soon.
                  6)As per our discussion it was agreed that the old fitting kit was incompatible and will be replaced and the new original Hitachi kit will be used and the amount by which the Hitachi kit costs more will have to be beared by us apart from the travelling cost of the technician. Also as the technician who fitted the A.C. very badly initially was Hitachi technician so the second time fitting labour charge will be borne by company.
                  7)Two technician come to our house we pay them whatever bill they present and they refit the A.C. and also refill the gas. They charge us 4500 for the kit plus the travelling expenses.We had a doubt about the price as old kit costed 2200 so we confirmed from the popular cooling office about the price and paid after the confirmation.
                  8)We complained to them that still the cooling is not proper but they say its fine and go away.
                  9)Later we found out from Hitachi’s customer representative themselves that the fitting kit for which we were charged 4500 actually has a retail price of 3000.
                  10)Also we again complain for the low cooling and they have been saying daily that someone will contact soon but no response.
                  11) I have also been mailing daily but have got no response.
                  Please provide us some assistance in this issue. We have spent so much money just on customer care calls and going to the service station. Customer care is very bad as they keep on repeating the same answers every time and never reply to mails.
                  Last 2 months we have been harassed to limit mentally and want this whole issue to end now.

                    HITACHI FREQUENT PCB CARD FAULTY

SINCE THEN THE PCB BOARD HAS BEEN REPLACED THREE TIMES . IT COSTS ME RS 2000/- EACH TIME . THIS HITACHI PRODUCT HAS IRRITATED ME A LOT AND I HAVE TO INCUR HUGE LOSS ON ITS REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE. THE COMPANY SHOULD CHANGE MY UNIT , BECAUSE THE DEALER IS NOT PAYING ANY ATTENTION TOWARDS...

Till Today no one have turn of to repair the Widow AC, Daily when ever I call the number there will tell it is will refecitied in 24 Hours and, From 23.06.2012 Onwards there are tell on urgent basics it will be rectified, when called on 25.06.2012 again there are tell we will rectified in 24 Hours. Worse service by Hitachi and Never choose any of the Hitachi Products.

                        I am Saravanan, K. (Cell: [protected]). I have Hitachi 1.2 Ton Ace Follow Me A/c in my home in Manapakkam, chennai (Behind L&T). I raised a complaint on 8-June-2012 regarding my A/c compressor is not working even with triple booster. My request no is: [protected]. Initially I had normal stabilizer only. Due to low voltage in my area the service person suggested for double boost stabilizer. With that also my A/c not started but the stabilizer is not getting cutt off, its giving power to the A/c. Then I moved to triple boost statbilizer then also my A/c not started but the stabilizer is not getting cutt off, its giving power to the A/c. During June 2012 firstweek onwards in my area the voltage is coming up aroung 180 volts. In my flats other people bought double boost stabilizer only for them the LG 1.5 ton A/c is working with that. But my A/c is not starting. This clearly shows that the problem is there in my A/c only. So I raised the complaint for service. I know that my free service period is over. I agree for paid service during complaint raising time. But daily till date I used to call the customer care for the service person is coming or not. Daily I used to get the response that we raised a remainder to the service center senior person, so today or tomorrow the person will come. They also gave one landline number[protected] to check with that. But they are also saying the same story like we alloted a person to service your request, he will call you and come by today or tomorrow. But no one came for it. I really fed up with this. Please do the needful.

                        Recently purchased 1.5 tons split ac, 4 star rating in m/o may'16 through reliance retail stores in opulent mall, ghaziabad, uttar pradesh.                             Hello,

                            We bought Hitach Quadri cool AC in February 2011. Just after the purchase, we realised that the AC has certain defect as the cooling was not proper. We lodged the first complaint in first month as it was in guarantee period. Tecnician came and said, that he has fixed the temperature and will work fine. But again after some timr we have to complaint for the same reson. This we we filed the complaint 5 times with in first year, but hitach people just kept making false promises.

                            I wiould like to mention, that we have AC of 1.5 ton and even keeping its temperature at 16 degrees, it does not cools the room. Also the fact is the room is small and this should not be the case. Now since the guarantee is over, they will not be redressing any of our complaint.

                            We have been cheated by the company, and we actually told in the first complaint that since the peice is not appropriate, if not repairable, please change it.

                            Can any one help us in this problem.

                            HITACHI/ AIR CONDITIONER MODEL NO: — HITACHI DEFECTIVE AC

                            Dear Sir,
                            I had purchased a Hitachi Air condition from authorised dealers i.e. GREAT EASTEREN TRADING CO, in our area. When the technician came for installation it was found that the AC was broken.
                            We have launched several complaints with the dealer and with the service centre of Hitachi in Kolkata but till date we have not received any proper reply.The service charge centre person MR. KAMAL assured me that the AC will be replaced within a week. Two months have passed now they are not received our calls and the authorised dealers are taking no interest in this matter.
                            The worst part is the window in which the AC was to be installed has been cut and they have left it open.

                            Hitachi — Defective Air Conditioner

                            i bought a new 1.5 ton split hitachi air conditioner...but its cooling was not proper from the first day...i asked the fitting people to check the coolling but they did not bothered and said its fine...after some days there was a leak in the gas ans i called the service people again...they fillied the gas and said due to small leakage it happened...but now it has been 3 months yesterday was the 4th time when there was a gas leakage in the ac...service people again came and filled the gas and said the same thing...that due to improper sealing it happened...cooling of the ac is nil but hitachi people are not ready to accept it...what should be done??

I complaint to him but he told me that now the company is responsible for that. Then I complaint in company many time by call or email but they make excuses all the times.                             My A/C is not working well from the last few days. On 24/05/2013, I had submitted my complaint to your centre (Complaint no. [protected]) that was attended to by S.S. Enterprises, Nehru Enclave, Alipur, New Delhi.

                            Mr. Vikas had come to my place but was UNABLE to find a fault. He charged his visit of Rs. 330 and told me that he would attend to all calls in 1 month.
                            However, our AC was still not working and Mr. Vikas refused to come when I called him again.
                            I submitted a repeat complaint to your service centre on 25/05/2013, and was told that Mr Vikas is deputed for my complaint, and that my complaint would be attended to within 8 working hours.
                            Its 27/05/2013 today, and my complaint has still not being attended to.
                            I called up Mr. Vikas again, but he again refused to come.

                            I feel harassed and extremely disappointed by the service from Hitachi.

                            Kindly, do the needful as soon as possible

                              Manufacturing Defect in newly purchased AC

                              We purchased a new Hitachi 1.5 Ton Window AC Twin Motor Model at the end of June 2012. Since then, we have been constantly facing the problem of VERY LOW COOLING. Somtimes, the AIRFLOW STOPS COMPLETELY AND THE COMPRESSOR STOPS WORKING, FOLLOWED BY LOUD NOISES OF ICE BREAKING/CRACKING. There serviman was unable to sort out the problem, so we requested for the visit of a Sr. Engineer. Since then,for almost a month now, there has been no action...

                              Hi,

                              I have Hitachi Split A.C. 1.5T (RAS318KSDP). I have purchased that A.C on dated 29 March 2012. I have faced a problem of no cooling and lodged a complaint for the same on 10 April 2012. Technicians have visited and said that there is a leakage of gas. Hitachi service center is demanding the payment for servicing the product but we again visited to shopkeeper In first visit, shopkeeper’s engineer visited and refilled the gas and the problem is still persisting but actually my product's complaint was not attended properly because the problem is still same. I asked for a replacement but the company refused. I would request you to please look into the matter and either refund our entire money. Please clarify the course of action which would be taken against this,so that we can decide whether to continue with Hitachi or to switch over to another brand.

                              So i request please solve my problem.

                                AS I BOUGHT THE NEW REFRIGERATORS OF HITACHI (RW660) FROM S.C SHAH & CO(P) LTD., FROM ANNANAGAR BRANCH. WHEN I GOT THE DELIVERY OF MY REFRIGERATOR THE DOOR OF FRIDGE IS DAMAGED AND I SPOKE TO MR. KALYAN ONE OF THE STAFF OF S.C SHAH WHO ATTENDED ME FOR MY PURCHASE HE SAID HE WILL MAKE THE CHANGES WITHIN 10 DAYS FROM HITACHI . BUT UPTO NOW THERE IS NO RESPONCE AND I HAVE CALLED UP AROUND 20 TO 30 TIMES HE IS JUST EXPLANING ARE EXTENDING THE TIME FOR THE PAST 1 MONTH. NOW I HAVE GOT FRUSTED OF TELLING AND INFORMING HIM AND EVEN I HAVE CALLED UP HITACHI THEY JUST GOT THE SERIAL NO. BUT THERE IS NO REPONSE ON IT . PLEASE DO THE NEEDFUL AND I M ATTACHING THE BILL COPY AND PHOTOGRAPH OF THE FRIDGE.

                                  I have logged a compliant in Hitachi service center on June 7th '2012 for my split airconditioner not working. The service engineer came after 2 days to advise us that the PCB component has failed. After about another 4 days after repeated follow ups, he came with a PCB the model of which did not suit the AC. I have atleast called 6 times and there is no concrete response from the call center staff.They are also refusing to transfer the call to the managers.

                                  Very very poor service levels.

                                  dear sir,I am purchase ac on 28 feb 2011 at indore & bhopal (2+2), but install 5th march , on this date i struggle for problem in 3 ac , i call many times for customer service but they get answer only 48 hours i will take and solve your problem , and they did not get any final answer

                                    SINCE PURCHASED MY HITACHI A/C IS NOT COOLING AND I MADE MANY TIME COMPLAINT BUT THEY DONT LISTEN MAKING MANY EXCUSES IN THEIR SERVICE BOOK ALWAYS REMARKED NOT COOLING NOT DRAINING THE WATER BUT THEY DONT LISTEN .

                                    NOW ONE YEAR PASSED RESULT STILL NOT WORKING AND COOLING PROPERLY .

                                    I PURCHASED IT FROM WEST PATEL NAGAR HITACHI SHOWROOM MAIN MARKET.

                                    KINDLY LET US KNOW HOW CAN I GET RID OF IT.
