[Resolved]  Honda Unicorn 150 — Vahini Motors,Kollam,Kerala-Very bad customer care and dealings

I bought a new Honda Unicorn from Vahini Motors, Kollam, Kerala (ready cash) on 14 April 2008.
On the day of delivery, they treated me finely till they got the cash.I've paid nearly 1000 Rs for extra accessories and they fixed only damaged Number plate and old model crash guard.But i noticed the old crash guard atonce and told them to change it and they did so.I found the numberplate only when i've reached my home with my new bike and i forgot about that later...leave it.This is my experience from Vahini from the very first day itself.
On the third day while i was on the way to my office, a sound heard from the back of my bike and i found that the joint between silencer and bike's frame has broken and lost its NUT and bolt on the road.
Hello...What you meant by PDI --Pre-delivery Inspection?
I've lost one leave on that day.Ok ok...i know faults are common and only solution is to rectify them.So i brought my bike for the first service with the following complaints.
1.Poor milege
2.Joint between silencer and body detached.
3.Neutral indicator tuned on even in second gear.
4.Engine missing in the mornings.
etc etc...
In the evening i got my bike with the same "MUD" under the mudguards.But thank god...they've jointed the silencer becoz i've paid an amount for its expense.
These are my actual experience with VAHINI motors.You tell... ARE THEY PERFECT AS A DEALER OF HONDA ??????
Ok...leave all.My actual complaint begins here.
Eventhough all the above mentioned things happened, When i brought my bike for the first service to VAHINI, the service-men and the associates there BEHAVED TO ME VERY BADLY AND ROUGHLY.So i'm strictly speaking...THIS IS NOT FAIR...THEY SHOULD ATLEAST MAKE THERE PART PERFECT.
Remember that...HONDA Company did not gift me this bike, I bought this Bike with my hard earned money for Rs 62, 160.00 + Rs 868.00 (accessories).
I'm a software Engineer working in Technopark, Trivandrum.I've no need to be a part of this rubbish culture and i dont want it.Only one mistake with me..."I've bought a HONDA's product"!!! So i'm planing to sale my new bike and will go for another brand.Also if things are going like these...I'll not further recommend it to any of my friends in Technopark.
NB: Remember HONDA...Customers are very valuable for you.It's the customers who have lifted HONDA as the world no:1.

i agree...the treatment i got was also similar...but it was with marikar honda, trivandrum... those [censored]s @ the showroom behave as if they r some top level beaureaucrats...and the situation is pathetic than the poorest of the govt. offices...
in my opinian vahini motors of kollam is a good dealer .i bought a bike in 2009 . service and other activities are good in my knowledge.
This mail seems that this writer purposefully blaming the dealer for some other revenge...


If he is true, as a educated person working in Techonpark Trivandrum he must had a discussionh regarding this with the Top management of Vahini or Honda...


This seems he may getting bribe from some other comapany or dealer for damaging career of vahini...

Honda Unicorn — waiting for six months

i booked two unicon bikes in kerala with one my brother.the dealer say it to deliver max 6 month.i enquire the local auto consultants & they say to give margin[protected] and give the bike for one week.im notified to this company and they no response .now i planned to by other company

I am completely support your complaint. I also have similar experience. I doubt they even change the engine oil, when service the vehicle.

On last service, I asked to service the back break and they checked the break and told me to change the bush. I said It ok change it. After one week, the same problem happened. No BREAK.

I went to a local workshop and the mechanic told me that, they grind the bush with sand paper and fitted the same.

What you guys cheating us with out changing the parts.

i would like to inform you that for replace my unicorn fuel tank. i gave my bike(K L 27 6854) on[protected] at THITUVALLA MUTHOOT HONDA .The service manager told me ' RED FUEL TANK ' is not avilable so the work will finished around 15 days.after 40 days they told me the work is not finished the reson is tank is not avilable so what i can do. will you please take needful action early as possible

Honda Unicorn — very pathetic service

I am Jaseem . I brought a Unicorn on 28/8/09 from PEEYEM HONDA. The thing is i feel very exploited by the nature and service of the said dealer.On the regular service they mostly charge a huge "sum" and the quality of service is equaling ZERO. On the 3rd service of my bike they didn't tightened the head gasket properly so what happened on the subsequent service was i had to replace the "head". This was because of their negligence. When i reached home the gear lever was on road.
On 6/7/10 i gave the battery to be replaced on warranty scheme and today the date is 19/8/2010. This type of behavior is not only experienced by me but also by the most of the honda bike owners in Kannur dist.

u r a technopark employee? try to control your eggggggggggggooooooooooo first. u r buy a mechanaical product. not a flower wase, u just spent only 70000/-, 80 lakhs worth merc-benz (s class)some times making breakdowns, so i think benz inurance premium is triple time o[censored]r bikes price, so coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool dooooowwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn .and relaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.u r owned a better vehicle, no other vehicle can compete with the quality o[censored]nicorn vehicle.u dnt reccoment for this product.this vehicle hav 6 months waiting period .so pls try to keep ur diginity.thankzzz for spending time

I also heard like this from my Friend at Thrissur.
Are all like this?
There is no doubt that UNICORN is THE BEST in it's class.
But the dealers' attitudes towards the customers seems to be very bad.
He also had the complient about slipping of geer and missing at the morning.
It's Johns Honda in Thrissur.
They told him to bring the vehicle to there.
He did so.
It's about 40 Kms to there from his home.
So, he went early in the morning.
{7.00a.am.}
At noon, they said that their technical expert hasn't come and to come on the next day.
He went next day too.
They gave it back saying that they have repaired it.
But, he still have the problem...!!!

The only thing to say is that UNICORN comes with a great extent of quality.
It is possible that there may happen problems.
We can't blame it to a great extent.
But, the only thing is to solve the problems of the customers and improve their BEHAVIOUR MANNER.

Honda must note that they have not only to make quality Products, but also make sure that customers could enjoy it very well.
Then only the sentence becomes true:

I ENJOY THE QUALITY!!!

Honda — missing of vehicle from four months

hi this is K.shanmukha srinivas i am writing this letter for the second time. one month back i given a complaint regarding my vehicle "Twister bike taken in vasavi honda show room Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh)". The same problem (missing) is repeated in “ten days” after changing the parts that you have mentioned to the show room members. Nearly 45 days I have travelled on the test ride vehicle. They have changed the engine of test ride vehicle and attached to my vehicle. For that vehicle there is leakage in the engine and a beep sound is coming. Upto now the problem is not solved. They are telling that they replace a new engine. ”please replace a new bike instead of my bike”. Because you have taken four months time, but the problem is not solved so far. You have not replied for the first complaint that I have given . Please contact me immediately and take necessary action as soon as possible.

Yes vahini customer care is the worst customer care in the world.
Cause for an example "when we call vahini customer care after six o clock they even didnot pickup the call."I recently booked a honda activa in vahini. The booking time of my activa was 4 months.After four months i called them. They even didnt called me.They told me that to pay the full cash and wait for 10 days.in the 10 th day I called them they are telling me now to wait.I paid the full cash and they are supposed to give me my vehicle as soon as possible. even after the 10 th day they are not giving me the vehicle.i tottaly fed up with this...
Vahini motors of kollam is purely pathetic.. from my experience with them for over 10 years as their customer, starting from vespa select(they were the dealers for the vehicle long time ago), Activa and on 2007 a Unicorn i strongly recommend buying a honda vehicle from Ekm or Trissur(my friends are there without too much of problems with their dealers).Now A new dealer started working for honda in kollam.The scene in so worse as they at present have un experienced workers with some ego's.
I changed my Visor and headlight assy, indicators(4)asked them to change necessary oils and they gave me an estimate of 2500/- ok i admit that. but after 2 days i got my bike with everything but my selfstrter wasnt working, they told me to wait another one day to repair it. i dint allow them to.but to my astonishment the headlight assy was missing dim light. no brake light and i doubt they changed my vehicles oil. anyway i got a bill for rs 4780/- . whats wrong with these people, They are not doing us a favor, but we are, we are giving them an oppurtunity . and being polite to ur customers dosent mean you are below anyone.. you should have to..hope they will make up all their problems soon.
