[Resolved] HSBC Credit Card — HSBC 10 times reward points - FRAUD
HSBC is big cheat in Credit Card ... they dont understand English and lie a lot to the customers. Contact me at - [protected]@gmail.com , +[protected] In the month of June'09 i had booked internation tickets worth 39 from Delhi-Singapore return through my HSBC Gold Credit Card. Before booking i called up HSBC Customer Service to know about the HSBC 10 times reward points offer. I asked them that what do i need to tell Makemytrip while booking the tickets. I was told that I dont need to tell them anything, 10 times points will be credited automatically on my credit card. I went through with booking of tickets. After that i called up HSBC numerous times to confirm when will i get the points and each time i was give the same answer that i will get the points after 4 months. Now when 4 months have passed that they i wont get the points. Here is the answer given by them ======= Regarding the marketing offer on your credit card number 4384 5913 xxxx 6047, there ware two offers ongoing on the card account and the Deal Code for the offer are HSBCFLY and HSBC10X. 1. HSBCFLY which is a cash back scheme 2. HSBC10X for 10 times rewards scheme The Deal Code to be entered as HSBCFLY for cash back and HSBC10X for 10 times rewards scheme when you transact. You had entered the Deal Code as HSBCFLY so the cash back of INR 914.00 was credited to your card account on 15 June 2009 as per the marketing offer. ======== I sent them below response.. but again they dont read English and never answered my questions and gave the exact same canned response. =========== Once again HSBC doesn’t seem to be replying sensibly. Where can a customer enter the Deal Code ? These bookings are done by the Makemytrip agents. See attached terms and conditions on HSBC website and tell me where are these codes written. How does a customer comes to know about these codes. Is customer given a choice ? I had contacted HSBC several times before and after making this transaction and each time it was confirmed that I will get the 10 times reward points. They had told me that it will be done automatically and I don’t need to do anything. You guys are real cheat and fool customers. Infact I have also spoken to one of the persons 2 days back and got same confirmation that points will be credited. For last 4 months you guys are fooling me. This is once again the worst and pathetic service from HSBC Nodal Officer team. PNR number - 4DN86V I want the complete 10 times reward points credited by this weekend Was this information helpful?

HSBC Credit Cards — Incomplete terms & conditions
I have an HSBC Gold card and have a 15 year relationship with them. I have recently availed of a balance transfer facility for a 3 month period. However, I found to my surprise that finance charges had been levied in the first statement, despite paying the 5% minimum balance required.Nowhere in the Terms & Conditions is any of the following mentioned:
a) A minimum of 5% is payable every month - as I have opted for a zero interest option
b) The processing fees are considered as a purchase and will attract finance charges if not settled along with the first minimum payment ( which is alo not specified).
Despite repeated calls to HSBC and letters through Internet Banking, no one has shown me any proof that these conditions exist.
But I have been lived charges based on verbal communication of conditions which are not mentioned anywhere on paper.
Shame on HSBC. I really do not expect this kind of indifference from one of the world's largest banks!
