[Resolved]  Hyundai i20 — AC problem

I20 Magna is having tremendous problem with AC. It doesn't chill fully even after 1 hr of driving.
Company should recall AC immediately.

Same AC problem. Two year old Hyundayi elite i20 magna. But right after service, from the next day, MY AC stops working. no more cooling. the blower still works though. I took back to service center and they said its electrical problem at first and then say its because of oil leak in compressor and have to replaced, 20K. Decided not to do it for now. need to look for other options than trust the dealer.

I20 (Hyundai) — Non Supply of some articles in a new car

I bought a new I20 white car from Commercial Motors, Gandhi Road, Dehradun and took the delivery on 8th Feb 2010.
I pointed out that the Cigarrette lighter was not being supplied though it is mentioned as part of the features in the brochure of the car. I was informed by the dealer that nowadays the Government has ordered that this is not to be supplied. I doubt this because on the one hand the company does provide an ash tray, and a slot for the cigerrette lighter as part of the deal, but not the actual lighter. the car's instruction manual also mentions that only an original I20 cigarette lighter should be used in this car if ever.

Sio it is obvious that the dealer has whacked away the lighter and is giving lame excuses .

I wish the company to confirm that the klighter is actually not supplied, and if so, then it should delete mention of it from the brochure as well.
I own a asta .The a/c is fine but the blower lacks power. The blast doesnt reach the rear seats.
I own Asta. The A/C is completely ineffective. On hot summar days you can't feel a/c is present even if you drive for whole day with full fan speed.
Purchased i-20 on[protected]. Reg. No. MH-15-CM-1822. The cooling system in my Car is very much, below average. launched a complaint on 15-10-10. This is a second complaint. Yet the problem of cooling in my car is not resolved. Drikved others i-20 Car, and surprisingly experienced that cooling in another Car is much better compared to my Car. I am not at all satisfied with the cooling system in my Car which is not to my expectation. Suggest, to depute some EXPERT in Cooling, to locate and solve the problem permanently, instead of asking us to seek services from service centre (Ujjwalhyundai Ambad, Nashik.) I bought Magna i20 last year and AC is really ineffective for summer. This car is not worth what i paid. Nissan micra and maruti cars are better.
I bought i20 from Saini Hyundai Kolkata last year and within a year had to replace the Wipers then the Horn stopped working, A.C was not working properly from the very first day and I complained about it to the dealers during my first service. But now it has stopped working completely. I saw an article in print where it is mentioned that Hyundai is well aware of this A.C problem then why no directives are given to the dealers to fix the same(http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/news-by-industry/auto/automobiles/hyundai-offers-solution-to-i20s-ac-and-rattle-problems/articleshow/6265177.cms). Saini Hyundai claims it is not aware of this and that this is my imagination.

After second free service the pick up became very slow and the clutch was tight. Also a loud growling sound started emanating from the engine almost like that of a truck. These too I mentioned in the workshop but they did not make a note of it just said that they will work on it. It took them 2 bloody weeks to do the body work but they didnt work on this problems. Though I mentioned it several times. Last Friday the clutch broke down, I guess because of the same problem. And now they are saying that I have to go for replacement of clutch, AC repair (Repeat work and Hyundai mentioned that this is of low grade), brake pad repair.

I have to rush to workshop every now and then within a year of purchase of the car. This itself shows the degraded quality of Hyundai cars. Even though Nano is 1 lakh car the Tatas are decent enough to own responsibility of the faults it has.

But the person in Saini Hyundai workshop was telling me that all these can happen with any electronic product, infact the entire car can break down. Why the bloody hell will someone pay 5.5 lakhs for a car whose quality the dealers themselves cant guarantee.

That shows the kind of responsibility Hyundai takes for the product it supplies. I dont see a reason why I should pay for such a shoddy service and such degraded quality of car parts.

I am planning to go to consumer court as I dont thing talking to these people anymore is going to get my issues resolved.

120 Asta hyundai — Service issue

I am Vidit Agarwal and i have a complain against Borah Hyundai. The shock absorber of the vehile both side has been damaged since over 50 days. But the people in the workshop are not providing me a replacement although mine is covered under warranty. They say that the part is not available and they have placed an order to the company. I suffering severely because of this and other damages are implicated upon the vehicle due to faulty part. I have tried complaining to the higher authorities but there has been no response.

while accelerating my i20 asta diesel there is a sudden blockage at times, i have driven only 1600 kms, can anyone suggest what to do.
AC in i-20 is not effective even in kashmir weather conditions.Company should recall all i 20 cars to replace the ac immediately.
Even i have Magna i20 last year and AC is really ineffective for summer. This car is not worth what is paid for micra ford figoi and swift dezire.

I fully agree that i 20 magna diesel which i also purchased a year back, a brand new car has defective ac system. The cooling is below average. Company should recall all i 20 cars and replace the ac system.
I have i20 Magna and the problem with AC is Worst and 3 times I repaired but the problem persist

I purchased i-20 magna 2010 model and feel AC is worth less, not sure how to get the corrected even if it will require some more money shellign out I am ready but can't drive this car in summer of daily.

Same issue is been with me i Have purchased I20 diesel in June2012 and
now when i inquired why A/c compressor is not working then i came to
know this is because of negligence of the Hyundai Service centers who
hasn't done proper maintenance of the A/c, Now the Compressor is getting
week and whole cost is around Rs. 38, 000/- which is too much i think
such big cost are occurring within 3 year of car then how can a Company
can claim a good service support and economical as Maruti.
People who has i20 magana model petrol, I think they might be getting AC problem... Becz I'm having i20 petrol..I swear the AC is soooo much bad ..it never get chill inside..nor the AC blast get behind the seats..When I ask In Hyundai showroom they give any bull reasons.. As they r not at all expert to resolve it...but still this is happening to most of people..Hyundai Company should look out this problem...
I have purchased Hyundai I 20 in 2010. With in three years A/C not working properly no cool with in 30 minutes. How This shall be addressed

I bought Hyundai i20 elite in 2015 Feb.now driven 43000kms my car AC is not working and Hyundai service people done inspection and said cooling coil should be replaced.I lost impression on my car.I won't suggest any Friend to purchase Hyundai vehicles as they lack quality standards.very poor quality of spare parts but high in cost.
