[Resolved]  Hyundai i20 — AC problem

I bought Hyundai i20 elite in 2015 Feb.now driven 43000kms my car AC is not working and Hyundai service people done inspection and said cooling coil should be replaced.I lost impression on my car.I won't suggest any Friend to purchase Hyundai vehicles as they lack quality standards.very poor quality of spare parts but high in cost.

I purchased grand i10 2017 on 16 -6-17 from raja hyundai fatehabad but after drive 350 kms the ac stopped working only blower works after going to workshop they resolved my problem in 2 days after drive 150 kms the same comes again and now my car stand in workshop but they give me same answer your ac is working but why they donot cool my car if its working

I bought Hyundai Elite i20 Asta in Nov 2014 and done 36K Kms. All of sudden my AC is not working and service center guys are saying it is an issue with co0ling coil and that needs to be replaced. Have used multiple cars in the past and never had these type of issues with quality. Poor quality product from Hyundai and will never recommend anyone to go for Hyundai.

I was purchase Hyundai 120 Elite -Asta on 2015 i Bangalore, I have faced A/c issue with 3 months, after re-filling the Gas that was rectified. Now car has driven 40k, now AC is not working.. now Hyundai service people saying that need to Replace the compressor, & cost is 21k.. i am really unhappy on this.. Why they can't able to notice this problem before compressor down.. ?? 15 days before only i did my paid service.. that time they saying A/c & compressor working as good.. after 15 days they saying that need to replace the compressor..
Request to Hyundai company should look out this problem..

I have multiple problems with Hyundai i20 Elite Asta (O)

Within 14 months, it started showing the following issues.
- Fog inside headlamps.
- Creepy noise from Silencer
- A/C stop working after 1 hour drive.
- Bluetooth acts odd
- 8inch display will not turn on intermittently. Will have to turn battery off/On multiple time to restore it.
- Can feel wiper movement in steering wheel.
- Dashboard illumination works intermittent only. Hard to control during night :(
- Doors started making noises.

Car in warranty period, service centers not responding to the issues and just playing blame games.

I have a 2011 sportz I 20. The ac blower is working but not the cooling. Even if it is set to auto at 40 degress temperature. it even doesnot get to room temperature. Please resolve this

I owned elite i20 sports option in 2014
Now it almost 96 km running completed by car. But last week i got problem of Ac.
Only blower is running and no further cooling air of ac is present.
So i visited the nearest showroom, they told me that it may cause of compressors controllinh walve problem.
They replaced controll valve but after running of 700 km once again same problem is occurs. Now i visited the another centre of hyundai and they are saying me to replace whole accessory of compressor. Whats this yar??
This is indicating that hyundai service centres are not serious about servicing properly. This is totally nonsense thing of hyundai. And making trial and experiment on problems. Everytime we cant tolerate same issues.

I own a elite I20 Asta the A/C is completely ineffective on winter days also cant feel A/C present even if I drive for whole day with full fan speed

I20 Asta is having tremendous problem with AC it doesn't cooling fully even after 2 hours of driving.Company should recall A/C immediately.

I have i20 magna model. AC is very weak n within 1 and 1/2 years my ac is not working. I went to service centre n they are suggesting that I should replace the compressor which costs Rs. 16, 000/- if this problem persists then I am selling it n insist all my family n friends not to go for hyundai brands. The service is worthless.

My suggestion is please don't buy Hyundai Elite i20...I brought my car in 2015 and from first day on words AC is not effective and I asked car service center to check and they said need to replace AC compressor.

Hyundai i20 elite has a known issue of compressor valve malfunction which connects to AC. AC stops either or completely after an hour or reducing the cooling. Its an awkward situation while driving.

Dealers are aware of this and most of them couldn't find the issue at first place. Company have to recall the vehicles and replace the same at their own cost. They are forcing the customer to bear the replacement charges.

Hyundai i20 Asta O, It's just been 2 years with 30K KMs and the AC just went of in a sudden while driving back from Hyd to Chennai.. horrible experience ever on a hot summer. Non of my other and previous cars gave me such a bad experience. Hyundai should rework on the AC compressor and its compounds !!

I have a elite i20 magna, reg AS01EA2788. AC is not colling after 2 hrs of drive (180 km approx) only fan works. Front brake problem is there since 4 months after i got tis car, i went several times to dealer for repair but they are not able to rectify my problem. After 12000 km engine sound was very annoying, the sound felt like it ran 40000 km. Even maruti suzuki car engine sound changes after 50000 km.
I am really disappointed on wasting so much money at this car.

i20 magna have some problem with AC .It doesnt chill fully even after 1 hr of driving .
