Last Month (24/03/2010) i booked a car hyundai i10 magna, with Oberai Hyundai, Dev Bhoomi Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., 108, Hardwar road, Dehradun. Depositing the full payment in advance.
The dealer, (the executive named Vikas) ask us for 10-15days of time to deliver the car to us, which we agreed. After a long span of time almost a month they are unable to deliver the car.
During in this period of time, my friend told me that instead of buying the above stated car i.e Hyundai I 10, 1.1 magna (1100cc) u should buy a newer version i.e Hyundai I 10, 1.2 magna (1200cc) Kappa engine, by paying the difference.
After this we contacted the executive, then the sales manager and at last the Managing Director of Dev Bhoomi automobiles, Mr. Amrish Oberai, for cancellation of the previously booked car against the delivery of another car Hyundai i.10, 1.2 magna (1200cc) which is slightly higher in price.
But they all denied to do so, stating that they will only deliver another version car, that is I 10 magna 1.2 kappa engine when the previously booked car is sold in the market. On asking, how long will they take to sell the booked car, they say that it may take a month or two depending on condition, till then u have to wait for the delivery of your car.
Now more than 10 days has passed they are not delivering the new Magna 1.2 as it is already in stock, nor returning the money.
Now I am confused as to where should I approach and what to do. I would not have deposited the full amount.
Kindly assist me as to how i can get either my choice car or my money back and how can i approach.

Hyundai Motors India Limited — Irresponsible Service
I had taken my Hyundai Verna CRDI WB 06B 1046 to the Service Centre of SPRING HYUNDAI on 19/12/2010. The Car was placed under Service Consultant, Mr.Nani Debnath. I was told that the Car would be ready at 3 PM but by the time, I got back the Car it was was past 4.30 PM. However, on the morning of 20/12/2010 , when I filled up the Car with 20 litres of diesel & was proceeding to my destination, it was pointed out by other motorists that oil had been leaking from the Car. The Service Centre was contacted & a mobille service unit was sent to Salt Lake where the car got stranded. As I write this the Car is still being serviced & I am told that a wrong OIL FILTER had been fitted, as a result fuel started overflowing.The Company owes me an explanation for the harrassment as I had taken the Car to an Authorised Service Centre.
