Car No. DL2CAE9333 Date of Purchase : 29th May, 2010 from : MGF Hyundai, Karol Bagh. Engine No. G4LAAM407959 VIN No. MALBB51BLAM176032 Respected Sir, Since I have purchased a brand new Hyundai I20 car after spending my hard earned money, I have never had a smooth drive at all as it has a serious persisting manufacturing defect. The air conditioner system of this above referred car is having serious manufacturing defect and bursts frequently thus putting me and my family life in danger. The details are as follows :- SN / Instance Date Shown to Hans Hyundai, Naraina Vihar, New Delhi Nature of defect 1 04.07.2010 Invoice No.Y[protected] The vehicle average is very low ( approx. 7-8 kms a litre with a/c) in delhi city conditions. It is drinking petrol. The vehicle has gear shifting problem. Airconditioner Blower fan speed fluctuating. 2 08.09.2010 Invoice No. B[protected] Airconditioner Compressor Burst. 3 09.10.2010 Invoice No.B[protected] Airconditioner Compressor Burst. 4 14.04.2011 Repair Order No.R[protected] Airconditioner Not functioning . I can strongly say that I have been cheated by Hyundai by taking the full value of the car and providing me with a defective car. This repeated instance of taking new vehicle again and again for repair has put me under huge discomfort, mental tension, agony and am feeling high pressures on heart like undergoing torture. We experience the same problem...purchased brand new or supposed to be brand new i20 with many defaults. We have been told a stone hit the condensor, this the reason why AC not working. I am awaiting reply from customer service, as the agent or dealer are not at all interested to assist? After searching on google - you realize you've been taken for a ride as this is a DEFINATE PROBLEM of the i20 range. I feel cheated and taken for a ride... I will not recommend anybody to buy the i20 - as a person could or may still have delt with problems, but it is with regret that I have to say Hyundai dealers are not interested to assist ... they mos have received there money..why bodder? I'm waiting for customer care services reply tomorrow - if not satisfied.. will take it further to court if need be?
