I am an ICICI Bank customer for the past 15 years or so (Malleswaram Bangalore branch) and operate my account through internet. I visit the bank only when absolutely necessary as I am able to operate/check my account through internet. Eversice I remember, the bank has been providing cheque collection facilitiy in ATM booths for crediting the cheques into the accounts and for credit card payment. Since a few months, the bank has withdrawn this facility for the reasons best known to them. They have been dodging with stock answers when enquired. It is since 3-4 months this facility is not available and the customers have to commute all the way to bank branch only deposit the cheque (time, cost, and effort). They say that the facility would be reintroduces but are not giving any schedule.
I do not understand their problem when all other banks are maintaining this service. Was this information helpful? |
