[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Account freeze without any intimitation

Dear Sir / Madam,

My name is Pankaj Kumar Gupta and my account no. In ICICI bank is[protected]. My
account has been open on behalf of my company Intouch Solution Pvt.
Ltd. it is salary account and that time i don't have any id proof and
by mistake of ICICI bank exeecutive this account has been activate in the
name of Pankaj Gupta. I left my company and account is running but my
account has been freeze within 1 month.
So bank advised me u submit your id proof and address proof your
account will be activate within 5 days. Now that time I have address
and id proof in the name of Pankaj Kumar Gupta so I have submited my
id and address proof but bank not activate my account due to name
mismatch. I also contact your customer care but they telling me it is
bank problem and only bank have right to activate your account. But
bank officer even Brach manager not listening me and not providing me
any solution.I have also submit a indemnity letter and new bank statement with orignal hard copy every time they said your account will active within 7 days but still my account not open . I am very tense what i will do please suggest.

saving account — Delay in Given Credit & misbehavior of Staffs

Dear Sir/ Madam,

I am a customer of your bank having a saving account with Swasthya Vihar branch Delhi.

I had deposited a cheque on 21.01.08 in your newly opened branch at East of kailash, New Delhi.

on 23.01.08 my account show the amount credited to my account but not reflected in clear balance.

when i confirm with bank bank they said there is a lien on your account. which has been imposed on the direction of GK-1 branch.

I make a call to GK branch, they send me to my origional branch.

At there they once again send me to GK branch.

At last i visit personally GK branch, but they fail to give any sufficient information.

As per them my cheque is pending in process, but the cheque had been clered on 24.01.08 & the account of other person (who has given cheque to me) was already debited with the amount.

I have no due of your bank, not having any loan, no standing instructions, no other reasons to imposing a lien.

Your staffs r busy in deciding what to eat in lunch, rather than servicing the customers.

Even during this time there is a call for 1 crore FD, but no one has a clue about the rate for one year.

If this is the way of serving your customer your r also on the path of PSU banks like SBI, PNB & others.

Please take prompt action & settale the matter.

mai apka icici bank ka customer hu.mera a/c no.[protected]. maine icici mai zero balance scheme mai apna joint a/c apni sister ke sath khulwaya tha.mai is a/c ka first a/c holder hu.aap ke system mai meri sister ke sign show kar rha hai par naam nahi icici branch ka kehna hai ki a/c no.[protected] individual a/c hai joint nahi or meri sister ke sign bhi show kar rha hai. mai ye janana chata hu ki mere se koi mistake hui hai to muze inform kiya jai or muze mere us form ki copy bezi jaye jo maine bhar kar a/c kulvaya tha.mera a/c joint bhi jald se jald kiya jaye and muze jald se jald reply diya jaye

Credit Card — freeze of saving account

ICICI Bank freeze my savings account without any intimation
My company deposited my salary cheque in my ICICI Bank savings account on 7th april 2008 Noida Branch. My account is freezed and restricted me from accessing my account .My credit card account no.[protected].

After repeated followups at their Icici call center I came to know that my account is been freezed, for the want of credit card payment. I had already paid 2500(25th of march), 2500 on 4th of april and setteled minimum payment of 12000 against my credit card account on dt 9th april2008.But still my account is freezed.

Few facts in this connection:

1. My account was freezed on 30th of march without any notice and i receive a notice from icici credit card department on 7th of april.
2.After contacted with credit card department they told me it will be activated(my saving account) within 25 hours.But till today it is freezed.

3.They charged overlimit charges plus late payment 350 and other charges where overall penalty charges came to 1500 per month.

I am working in delhi. I am the only earning member of my family and suffering from cardiac problem since 2007.

ICICI SAVING ACCOUNT — Saving A/c freezes without information

I hold my salary A/c in ICICI Bank. Lucknow Branch. A/c No[protected]. On 31st I received my salary and was not able to withdraw bacause the bank say they have freezed the A/c and will only release the payment when I pay 29, 000 in liew of Credit Card payment.

Here is my Credit Card Story - I took a Credit card ([protected]) on which I made a purchase of Rs 4000/- for which they deducted Rs 6000/- without my permission from my earlier Saving A/c No[protected]. For which They never sent any statement. Till date I have never received any statement or call regarding any outstanding payment.

Then Suddenly On 31 July I hear from the Customer Care that I have an outstanding of 29, 000 for which My A/c is freezed untill I make the Outstanding payment.

Sir, my statement is that when I made a purchase of 4000/- How can they deduct teh money 6000/- from my A/c without my permission.

If they had deducted 6000 in Lieu of 4000/- How come the outstanding be 29.000/-

How can they freese my entire Salary A/c without any intimation or warning and force me to make payment like this.

When I tried lodging the complaint with the Bank - They refused to take my complaint, (Jyoti from Customer Care Refused to take the Complaint) they say this is a Credit Card Related matter. Refer to them.The credit card Department says Just pay the money or it will be deducted from your A/C AUTOMATICALLY.

Please Help I have to take care of my Family as I am the only earning Member of the Family.

ICICI Credit Card — force full deduction from saving account

my credit card no [protected], was some how misused by my wife who is seprated from me since 2006, sudenly they have blocked 70621 rs from my saving bank account, still iagree for settelment by SR[protected] and was told by their executive that it is setteled for rs 45000. I have to pay in three instalments of rs 13932 rs 16958 and rs 15000, which iagreed and they were suppose to send executive before 08 june but suddenly they have widraw rs 26074 from my account on 29 may without my consent it is very surprising from bank of this repute and how can they link my account to my credit card account without my consent even after i was agrred for settelment for the amount they have stteled

ICICI Bank having big name in the market and i was very satisfied customer of ICICI Bank, but from last month i donot know why my account has been sealed without any information, so i could give any clarification.
As well as i applied for Debit card but didnot get pin no from last 1 month.

So i am very much dissapointed from such kind of work from such aBIG BANK, which get counts best bank in India.

ICICI Credit Card — FORCEFULLY BLOCKED CREDIT CARD WITHOUT INFORMATION

I have a ICICI Bank credit card which is having a credit limit of Rs 30000. And just a day before of the incident I have received the statement showing the credit limit of Rs. 30000. But unfortunately on 26/09/2009, I filled up fuel in my car and tried to pay it with the said credit Card, but it was declined by the bank. I was stuck up with the situation as I was not having enough money in my pocket to pay the fuel bill. While I called up to the bank, they told that your credit limit reduced to Rs 11000 w.e.f 24/09/2009. But they have not informed me. When, I asked this question to them they told bank has the power that without prior informing to a customer it can change any rule. Is it so? I want a solution to my harassed situation, so that it should not happen to anybody. Thanking You.

A similar thing has occured with me my limit is 60000 and from 2 days it shows as 10000 i marked a mail to icici team and im waiting for the reply..!! I expect the icici bank to inform me before doing this ..!!

saving account — Without information deduction from a/c

Dear Sir,

I am the customer of HDFC Bank having account number [protected] in the branch of Solan Himachal Pradesh.

I had worst experience of banking with the HDFC bank. So I just want to close my account because o[censored]nsatisfactory service from your bank.

I had opened my bank account in the month of april 2008 and that time the below limit was Rs 2500. In July 2009 I have Rs. 4000 in my account and I haven't check 'my account' for a long time In january I needed Rs 3000. I went to the ATM and treid to withdraw the money but I was not able to get the money becasue my a/c had not the sufficient balance and then I check the mini statement in which I found average quarterly balance (AQB) Dr. twice first in Oct. and second in Jan. And then I contacted to Solan Branch but they said that Limit was increased because of that the deduction made from your a/c. I have asked them why they didn't inform me earlier they were saying that they never inform this to the customer because the customer has been told to maintain the AQB. I just want to know my AQB never gone down below the limit even they have increed the limit and therefore they had to infrom me on a reliable resource that would on my mobile/ phone.

I don't think that after sending a mail there resposibility will be over if you think that I am right and it was the fault of bank I would love to continue with your bank otherwise close my account.

my name is Rahul kumar . my account number is[protected]. i have
joined @home Nilkamal (isanya yerwada pune ) on 6th feb. sachin from
magarpata icici branch came and opened my account on 25th feb. we get
our salary on 31st . but till 31st my account was not activated. so i
got my salary through cheque . i deposited cheque (idbi 164457 )
on7/3/2011.in kalyani nagar branch . my account got activated on 2nd
march only . i was normally doing my transaction but on 24/3/2011 when
i went to ATM my transaction declined . it gave unauthorized message.
on 25/3/2011 i gave call to customer care . they told me that your
salary account has not been credited so we have converted it into
general account so kindly submit your address proff in near icici
bank.. on 25/3/2011 i went to magarpata city branch . their i had
interaction with sachin. he told me that even he is not aware that why
account has been freezed. he told me that he has put a mail and will
give me a caall which he never gave. on 26/3/2011 i went to chichwad
icici bank their i talked to several icici personal but they didnt
cooperate with me . one of staff started shouting on me and asked me
to report to my company HR about the problem . then after i went to
branch manager where i found cluster manager . i detailed him about
the problem . he also assured me that he will do the best to solve my
problem. on 28/3/2011 i went to magarpata city twice . sachin told me
that he my account will not be activated and i will get my money back
which is approx 13643 rupees.then went to my office i gave call to my
HR she told me to mail my account number . again on the same day i
visited magarpata icici bank. i talked to branch manager . He told me
told me that i had previous due relation with icici bank so this
account will not be activated. but as far i know i have never had any
relation with icici in the form of loan or demate . since it was my
first job so this was my first salary account. i have never used
credit card or took any loan from icici bank. sir, believe me i have
never had any relation with icici bank. i am frustrated . i am unable
to concentrate on my work. leaving my job daily to get rid of this
account freezing problem. please kindly to best to solve my problem.

I have a Salary ICICI BANK account No.[protected] at Goa, Verna Branch, when I was working in cipla Goa in month of May 2010, then after I left that job and joined somewhere else, I didn’t have any transactions with same a/c number so after one year icici bank has sent me a letter regarding freezing of my account due to safety purpose and the A/C has been freezed, that time I have some surplus amount in icici bank, soon after that I had contacted nearest RATNAGIRI ICICI BANK, MAZGAV ROAD, UDYAMNAGAR for re-activation of my account (to convert salary to saving account), I had provided all KYC documents i.e., ADDRESS PROOF, IDENTITY PROOF needed to remove freeze from my icici account, to RATNAGIRI ICICI BANK, MAZGAV ROAD, UDYAMNAGAR, but even after a period of 2 weeks no more progress has been observed, I had called more than 20 times to customer care icici bank goa, goa icici Madgav Brach, Ratnagiri icici branch but all the time they were not responding to me. I have been trying from last one month to get back my money from my icici account No.[protected]. I would say it’s just HARRASSMENT ON THE PART OF ICICI BANK, mental & physical, and I we won’t expect these types of bad services from icici bank, I just don’t want to continue with icici bank now and in future also.

i m having current account in icici bank. two three days ago my coligue transfered me some bulk amount in my account by RTGS. but my current status shown by bank is zero balance. i talked to customer care yesterday they told me "your account is freezed due to huge amount of transaction for the first time in your account, and your account will be credited by the amount till 5pm else we will inform u query". and before that, verification is done of my coligue and similarly of mine is done. so please someone guide me how to unfreeze my freeze account. and what action should i take?

My name is Tarun Nagrani. I have ICICI bank Debit card account which has been freezed without the intimation.
The card was issued at Mysore Branch.. I have called the call centre too many times, everyone seems to giving me different information. One agent said that i need to do a transaction and it will unfreeze the account. I did the transaction however, it is still freezed.I was asked to visit nearest branch. I visted the same and the agent said that he will issue a new card. I filled the form and gave to him. In evening, that person called and asked me to visit again as need to send letter to branch manager to unfreeze it and close the account and we will open a new account. Is this the service provided by you???

Please can you let me know if there is any process to unfreeze the account without visting the branch office.
