[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Complaint against false debit

Hello,

I made a Debit Card purchase of INR 2, 447, on 1st of August In Serengeti restaurant, Bangalore. Twice my card was swiped by the person at the counter post because of some problem with the machine. On 2nd of August 11.30 am I got 2 sms from ICICI bank saying twice INR 2, 447 has been debited from my account, in total Rs 4, 894/- had been debited from my account and when I brought it to the notice of ICICI costumer Care people they told me to fax the details of the transaction to the department called 'Debit Recon Team' . Post which I registered a complaint with ICICI bank, complaint Number[protected], to which I was told it will take 35 days to resolve this.

But 35 days is a long time to resolve a complaint when the fault is either of the bank or the store.
According to the regular process if the card has been swiped twice for the same transaction the money has to be auto credited WHICH IS NOT DONE IN MY CASE.
Also for every transaction bank should send instant messages but during this transaction the SMS was sent 20hr latter . i.e.on 2nd of August 11.30 am.
I WANT TO KNOW WHY THIS HAS HAPPENED?????
WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS NEGLIGENCE?
THIS IS REALLY UNFAIR TO THE CUSTOMER TO WAIT FOR 35 DAYS.


There should be a penalty on whichever party is guilty. If we submit a cheque in the bank and it bounces, we do pay a penalty similarly in this case the bank should number one not take so long to resolve this since I am in need of my money and second should pay a penalty. I need the interest amount for the number of days it got delayed. Hope you understand my problem.
I need this to be resolved AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

ICICI Bank and Max store — False Debit

Subject- Complaint againse false debit,

I made a purchase of Rs 1003/- at Max Store, Great India Place, Noida. twice my card was swiped by the person at the counter post which he said that there is some problem with the machine, hence I made a cash payment. In about 5 minutes I got 2 sms from ICICI bank sayinf twice Rs 1003 has been debitted from my account, in total Rs 2006/- had been debited from my account and when I brought it to the notice of max store they mentioned it is not reflecting in their account and that this is bank's fault, and they cant reimburse the money. Post which I registered a complaint with ICICI bank, complaint Number[protected], to which I was told it will take 35 days to resolve this.

Per me 35 days is a long time to resolve a complaint when the fault is either of the bank or the store. There should be a penalty on whichever party is guilty. Sorry to say but you are an stupid women, sorry to say but this is not the way to treat ICCI, see your language, how you are behaving, this is just a machine fault it can happen anywhere.And there is proceedure in every company and bank to return the money.Looks like you are a mean lady who just knows how to take advantage of others, Surely one day you will suffer for you doings.Hope you will understand the feelings of human being one day, rather than just blaming.
