[Resolved] ICICI Bank — getting bill and legal notice for no credit CARD. | |
Hi Sir, I applied for ICICI credit card last year. but it never came to me. They try to send it to my place one but i was not available that time. I also aplied for ICICI lombard policy along with this. Now i am getting bill for CARD payment with late fees sothing around 9700 RS. I want to know how can they deduct money from card if it not reached to me. and not activated. Or it is was preactivated. And worst thing is I never seen face of the card. I don't know the card is green or blue. Now they send me legal notice from lawyer saying strict action will be taken against me if I not pay due amount. I am very much worried about it. I am not so literate. I don’t know much more about legal steps. I don’t want to pay 9700 RS. Can you anybody guide me. I will be very thankful to you sir. Thank you very much. ICICI bank which rose to such a high fame is shattering all the respect that it has gained with customers by having such idiotic recovery agencies.
Now in my case i was regular with all my EMI, but at the time of recession i went payless for 6 months, during this time i was unable to pay my EMI's, but after that i found a job & started paying my EMI's Regularly except those pending 6 EMI's.
Now these are the cases where ICICI bank needs to intervene & understand the customer situation & reason for the non payment of the past dues.
bank needs to do somekind of arrangement & help out the customer with their problem to resolve so that no ones money or name is at stake.
I also agree that there are many forgery activities on with ICICI bank representative who are in the credit card dept, they misuse the card & only bill comes to the customer.
ICICI bank needs to understand the customer, its we who have trusted them & they need to trust us, if they have to survive in the indian market, else ask them to get lost, there are many things which they can learn from other bankfde42
