[Resolved]  ICICI Bank Credit Card — Annual Fee Charged on Blocked Credit Card

I am Creditt Card customer of ICICI Bank bearing credit card number 4629 XXXX XXXX 2004. There was fraud transaction on my credit card which was made on 10-JAN-2013 for thee amount of CNY 5,900.00 (Rs. 54049.50). I raised a dispute on theis transaction on 10-JAN-2013 aND thee Service Request No. for thee same is SR[protected]. On thee same day my card was blocked. Later after a couple of days, I got a call from ICICI Bank asking for thee replacement of thee card, which I have not accepted aND in turn asked to permanently block my credit card account. The Representative couldn't help me in theis regard, saying theat thee Account cannot be cancelled till thee Dispute Transaction Case is closed, which I felt was a valid point and waiting for thee investigation to complete. As of today, thee said investigation is still in process, which has successfully breached many deadlines theat were promised to me.

Today, I received a statement withe thee Annual Fee for thee 2ND charged on thee card which is blocked but not cancelled (waiting for thee Investigation to be closed). How can one be charged for thee card theat is not being used? When I called thee Customer Care regarding thee same, thee representative says theat thee Charges are valid because it thee Creditt Card which is closed but not thee Credit Card Account. How can theis be? The Credit Card Account is not closed because thee said investigation is still in process, so theere no chance for me to close thee Credit Card Account. As per thee ICICI's initial promise thee investigation was supposed to be closed by 18the FEB 2013, but for thee reasons known exclusively to ICICI Bank, thee promised deadline is breached. After many follow ups withe ICICI Bank, I was fed up withe thee answers theat I would get a call back in next 24 Hrs, but no one has called me till date, so I theought let it take its own time. Looks like, I have to heavily pay for ignoring to follow up. It was because of theeir fault, theey are asking me to pay thee annual fee for thee 2ND year where I don't hold a card from ICICI Bank. It is just because my Account is still active, theey are charging me for it.

I no more want to tolerate withe ICICI Bank aND I want to file a complaint in thee Consumer Court. Please help me with this regard.

Annual Fee — Annual Fee

I am in receipt of statement dated Jun 19, 2008 for transaction between May 18 to Jun 18, 2008. Entry for 18 Jun 08 shows Annual Fee 3rd year + Service Tax (1500+185.40). At the time issuing card I was assured that there will be no Annual Fee and the Card will be life time free. It is therefore requested that crredit for the equivalent amount be given and accordinlgy confirmation be given to me. For your information I have already effected payment for the complete amount billed.

Credit Card — charges of annual fee

I am having HSBC credit card. I have received statement for the period from 21.09.2008 to 21.10.2008 wherein am amunt of Rs. 1179.78 is charged towards annual fees. I have to state that your executive who had approached for the said card stated that no annual fees is charged for this card and therefore, i opted for HSBC Credit Card. Now this statement wherein Rs. 1179.78 is charged towards annual fees. You are therefore requested to please look into the matter and are requested to please wave the said charges and intimate the same to me at the earliest.

Credit Card — Blocked not working

Mere dwara credit card no-[protected] ki complaint 14 march 09 ko ki gayi thee.complaint no-9911525 hai.mere dwara 19/11/2008 ko 45600 rupees ki payment ki gayi jo mere account se 27/11/08 ko chali gayi.date 1 november ko mera card blocked kar diya gaya.mujhe khed hai ki abhi tak mery problem ka samadhan nanhi kiya gaya.31/05/09 ko mene dubara complaint ki gayi.

mera aapase nivedan hai ki mery problem ka samadhan urgently kiya jay.nanhi to majbury men mujhe consumer court ka darwaja khatkhatana padega.

ICICI Credit Card — block the credit card

I have lost my ICICI Credit card and need to block it immediately. My ICICI Credit card no is [protected]

Dear Sir,

Namaste!!!

I wish to have your kind advise towards ICICI card division which has blocked my savings bank account held with them in which I has Rs.5000/- plus.

I am holding ICICI Bank credit card and there were dues of Rs.27,000/- for which I was regularly paying the minimum amout due. But due to some financial crisis I was unable to pay the dues for last 3/4 months and suddenly the amount due has jumped to more than 34000/- From the past records you will obeserve that I have paid all the payment minimum due regularly and full and final payment were also made. I have requested them many times to please explain the sudden hike and bring the same to original but each time they promised to pay the minimum due and than only they will reverse the charges but each time it was all opposite. Instead of reversing the charges they have increased.

Please advise as to what step should I take as they have also blocked my account for which I am facing big problems for the cheques issued.

Pls help and advise.
