This is with regard to Bill generated on 11th March for my ICICI Bank Credit card. Post bill generation I had asked for Interest Calculation Sheet on 16th March 2013 for which I was provided with a service request no which I did not note down as I trusted them to reply to my query within the stipulated time frame. However, later on 29th March I called them again and was told that the service request has been closed. I was again provided with Service Request on 29th March with a mail for resolution to my query by 3rd April. After this I have been regularly calling up the Customer Care and their reply is unsatisfactory.

Their common excuse:-

1) Technical Issue.
2) Will get back to you with resolution within 24 hrs.

ICICI Bank — Interest Credit

I have recently closed a savings account in ICICI Bank. It was closed on 16th March. And when I asked them for the interest of the amount for the 16 days of March, following is the reply I got -

Dear Ms. Karnani,
Please note that the interest towards savings bank account will be calculated from 10th to last day of the month on the least balance maintained in that period. The interest will be calculated on quarterly basis and credited half yearly. Since the account is closed, the interest will not be calculated and hence we will be unable to confirm you the same.

    I am a new holder of credit card of ICICI Bank.When i have applied the credit card through Executive of ICICI Bank they have cnfirmed First year free card in the presence of 10 officers of my office.In the month of April.2013 i have received the credit card through Currior service and yester day i have received first statement charging 223/-Rs as annual fees.Sir it i my request kindly verify the same with your executive and reverse the cahrges.If it is not possible kindly cancel (discontinue) my credit card immediatelywithout fail.I have still not utilised the card provided by your Bank.My card No. is [protected].     ICICI Bank — Credit Card related

    Hi,

    I had ICICI credit card and I had closed this credit card through customer care without no o/s in 2006.Now Bank has deducted 19, 000 INR on 2nd May 2009 without any intimation from my salary account.I have sent several mails to bank. they are not responding positivly.
    Kindly help me in this regard.

    ICICI Bank — UNJUSTIFIED BANK CHARGES

    I have an NRE account with ICICI bank. I stay abroad . I had requested for a cheque book to be delivered at my abroad address . Bank charged me Rs. 441/- for courier charges. It seems bank will now charge for all deiverables abroad . It seems now NRE customers need to reside in India. Banks have found good way to reduce their costs. The amount of charge is not an issue . But why for delivery of cheque book customer has to shell out .

    ICICI Bank — unjustified service charges

    I have an account [protected] with ICICIBANK . I was maintaining substantial balance of over Rs 15000 for over 20 years now. The bank has found an excuse to cheat me by calling me a previledged customer and charged Rs 552 every quarter as service charge without my consent or approval. Request refund of money swindled and immediate closure of account.

      I am credit card holder of ICICI Bank with credit card no. 4629 XXXX XXXX 3007. On the 26th March 2013 I call to customer care of ICICI Bank to block my this credit card due to some transaction dispute. At that time (26th March 2013) I also given request for NEW CREDIT CARD. & customer care rep told you will get NEW CREDIT CARD within 7 working days. But Today(11th April 2013) i not get my NEW CREDIT CARD. I also given complaint through service request No. SR[protected] on 4th April 2013 and due on 6th April 2013. But uptill now it is not closed. New credit No.4629 XXXX XXXX 3015 also allotted on 28th April 2013 which visible through my internet banking but i not get physical card up till now. I also called to customer card 5 to 6 times every time they told sir i take your request for new card & you will get your card but no end result.

      Please take necessary action to resolve my above problem.

      Credit Card of ICICI — Not Received on Time

          icici crdit card doing cheating and this not possible without high management and and i want to help, safe others who may get surprise bill even after they not used card still bill of same card is cming...

          i need compensation because we not have good income..but if they raise bill and u not pay charge interest and force to suicide, sell house but make payment...and sy its all right, accurate and correct bill

            Hi,

            I recharged my DoCoMo mobile using iMobile service from ICICI bank. I received an error stating that the service provider is not available. However balance got deducted from my icici account

            this happened to me twice with the recharge amount of Rs 50.

              ICICI bank is a very smart cheater on the name of foreign exchange, if any one else has the same issue and would like to cooperate with to launch a case in consumer court (India and USA) please contact me through email ([protected]@gmail.com).

              situation faced:
              Transferred money to India, based on the slab i was given a foriegn exchange rate INR 54.22 for each USD
              on the same day i completed the transaction and money is debited from my account to Bank of NewYork and from there to ICICI bank in India
              but the rate they gave me was INR 53.89

              Don't trust ICICI money2india service. I work very hard and save each penny and i don't like when some one steals it, so i sincerely WARN/ADVICE not to use this services from ICICI Bank and also need your help to launch a case in consumer court and fight back.

                  ICICI Credit cards — MISREPORTING IN CIBIL

                  ICICI bank customer service informed me that I am having an unpaid dues to them for an amount of Rs 3822 from me.The above amount is also not matching with CIBIL report.
                  In an e-mail on 01.07.08, ICICI had informed me that they were unable to provide any cibil data base detail to me.

                  The statement sent through e-mail from ICICI bank on 23.07.08 was different from what they sent on 06.08.08.

                  Please note that the charges levied on my card account is not due to non receipt of payment for the purchases done on the card account but due to annual fees on two cards levied to the card account.This itself is wrong as both the cards were issued free of annual charges from ICICI.Hence there is no question of settlement of dues on my card account as asked by ICICI.

                  Secondly they have never bothered to communicate in this regard.It has come up only when I tried to check up with them a month ago.How can the bank fail to send regular updated statements/letters /communication regarding this pending amount properly & now is suddenly asking for some incorrect dues which are few years old?

                  The bank has just gone merrily adding annual charges, service tax & interest as per their wish and stopped when the felt it is enough.

                  Though I have asked for few clarifications from their end regarding the statement they had sent to me, they are unwilling to reply & are bent upon getting the above due/ requesting me for a settlement.

After this I didn't receive any status on application. When I call customer care, they are saying no such application request exists. Please update at the earliest.

                    Nobody contacted me till now and I get the same response when I call customercare that somebody will get back to me within 24 hrs but I have never received call back till now. I am not sure why checking application status takes morethan 15 days. I need the credit card for my international travel. If you can't serve the request, please inform immediately.

                      Hello,

                      I opened a recurring deposit account with ICICI @ 8000 per month for 1 year @ Hyderabad Miyapr branch.

                      ICICI is not crediting back the Maturity amount which is More than 1 lac.

                      Every time I am calling customer care for the past one month, the executives are saying “this is related to some other department and Our official will get back to you soon to assist you “and then they disappear and forget you. I can recollect names of some executive – Mr Vikshan , Manoj Kumar etc..

                      Looks like these guys are uneducated and do not have basic banking knowledge, they don’t even understand the difference between closing a deposit before and after maturity. The maturity date of my RD was 14-Mar-2013 and when I called these guys after 14th March they said “we can’t refund money as this will be a pre mature closure”!!!

                      It seems like ICICI is similar to some fraudulent CHIT Fund.They are delibertely not refunding my money and earning interest on the same.

                      Please let me know how to get this money back, My contact number is [protected]

                      ICICI — Amount not deposited?????

                      I have purchased " Children Laptop " from" Ebay"{ i.e Online} from the seller-"Shyam Store-Gizmo E Bazaar Pvt.Ltd, New Delhi" .
                      The shopkeeper told me to submit the payment (Rs 370) into their ICICI bank account[protected].
                      I have deposited the amount on 09/04/2008 at Betul Branch but the seller is saying that they did not get the amount into their account .
                      I have gone to the Branch approximately 4 times even the bank employee talk to the seller( Mr.Satish Manchanda, Mobile No.[protected]) but nothing going to happen .
                      I think both the bank and the seller making me fool.
                      When I talk to seller, He says" The amount is not submitted into their account"( I have spent a lot in making STD CALLS)
                      On the other hand-
                      When I talk to bank employee, he shows me the Computer Screen "where the amount submitted" ( amount deposited on 09/04/08 at 12.10 pm)
                      I have the receipt of deposit and all the mail conversion took place between me and the seller.

                        Gift card balance

                        I have received ICICI gift card as a wedding gift. After few purchase i want to know balance of my gift card. But ICICI don't have any facility to check balance online where as other banks do provide easy balance check online facility.
                        For ICICI gift card balance inquiry one need to call their Customer Care. I try calling customer care pune # [protected] but after choosing so much of options to know balance (about 5-6 min+1-2 min...

                        Hi Sir/Madam,
                        I am Anil Kumar from hyderabad. I am a cutsomer of the ICICI BANK for the past 5 and a half years. I have been using their crdit cards for the past 2 years almost.
                        1. There was no problem earlier with their customer service number for AP circle [protected]. For the past 3 months onwards the problems started. Whenever, I dial the number, the automated voice takes me till the options "please hold the line while our CSR will contact all.. it takes a few minutes...and suddenly it says due to heavy call volume we are unable to attend your call please call later and hangs up abruptly". This all takes alomost 5-6 minutes of time. I can understand that sometimes there might be heavy call volume. I tried calling them again and again at different times raging from midnight 12.00, early morning at 4.00, afternoon around 12.00, 2.00 etc, Does it happen always and is it practicaly for the lines to be busy on mondays at midnight and early morning at 4.00. How humiliating it would be for the customer. This used to be my routine for almost a month. I could contact them once and resolved my query after dialing almost 25-30 times on different days and at different times.

                        2. Now, there is a different problem altogether. When the number is dialled it asks usto enter the credit card number. While entering the number, it immediately starts saying "we didn't receive your input please enter the card number or press * to go back to the previous menu". While I start either re-entering the number or continue entering the number completely, the automated voice says "we didn't get the input.. you have exceeded the maximum number of time.. sorry.. please try later and ends the call". This is really harrassing, irritating, frustrating, tiring and utter non-sense. It is very obvious that the ICICI BANK wants to fleece the customers and has no interest in attending to the customer calls. What sort of service is this?? I wanted to resolve an issue and am calling for more than a week and it is still the same. The issue is that I recently took a credit card from the ICICI BANK. As per norms they said they would charge a fee of Rs 500+tax towards the first year annual fee. The fee wouldn't be charged for the second year if my spendings exceed more than Rs50,000 in the first year. My first statement was generated on the 3rd of april. They billed me Rs 500+61 as tax for first year'e fee. Apart from that they again billed another Rs 500+60 tax mentioning annaul fee for second year. I was shocked to the core. Howcome anyone charge the annual fee for the second year on the very first statement?? After 2 days I received a message stating that the second annual fee would be credited in the next month's statement. My question is why will I have to pay the second year's fee when the bank is not supposed to charge me in the first instance. That is the bank's blunder. They should not have charged at all. I wanted to talk to the bank and am trying for the past one week and the line is disconnected deliberately by the bank to cheat customers. If i don't pay the second year's fee and pay off my other balance, they will in all probability charge me a late fee and interest. I know people and know many stories from people and see daily in news and news papers regarding the run-around and other similar crimes committed by Credit card companies again the gullible and innocent customers.
                        Is this the way the second largest bank in India functions?? They are simply cheating customers and making the customer's pay for their mistakes and blunders. Please look into this matter and make sure that no customer feels let down just for being a loyal customer.

                        ICICI — The Obvious

                        Whom ever this may concern

                        I am not even sure if it makes any sense to complain about this since I have learnt that this bank really does not care about their customers’ or potential customers’ opinion. I guess this is just my way of venting.
                        I have been with this bank for a few months and I must say that the service offered has been nothing short of appalling. Opening the account was quite simple. The guys even showed up at my workplace to get it done. I remember that I did not have all of the necessary documents with me but they were more than willing to flex with me and have me scan the copies in my own sweet time and email it to them.
                        The problem came when I had to make queries. It first starts with that annoyingly happy voice taking you through a drawling painstaking trip of what number to dial to get to nowhere. After a few tedious minutes of waiting (while you obviously have better things to do) you get the, “I’m sorry but you have exceeded your number of requests. Finally you manage to get on to a “customer” representative who tells you that they’ll charge you for making requests on the phone but if you log on to the website it will be free and they’ll send your request to your home address.
                        My problem was that I could not remember my online user ID or password (I know stupid mistake). I had called and requested a new one and they had said that they were going to send it within 8 working days. So I called the bank again. I told the “customer” representative that I made the complaint about two weeks ago to which he gladly corrected me that it was a month ago. He said it was sent and no one was at home. Forgive me but we all work. I’ve explained that no one is usually home and I would prefer if the new password and user ID can be sent to my office address. To this he told me that it would take approximately one month before my new address can be updated to the system. I then asked him how I can close my account. Now I know must banks would not want you to close your account cause they’ll see it as a failure on their part…but not ICICI…they couldn’t care less if you just dropped off. At least the guy was helpful in telling me how I can relieve myself from their care.
                        Well let’s see what happens next. I have given up on them not even bothering to call me after I had applied for my credit card or even following up to my complaint about it.

                            I made payment of credit card dues for the purchases made in Aug. 08 on 13th Sep 08. the cheque was dropped in ICICI Bank cheque drop box. the payment not credited to my account and they have charged late payment fee etc. for no fault of mine. i have paid well before due date. the phone officer was very arrogant while i was conversing today i.e 4.10.08. please help. i want waiver of the late fee plus interest charges.

                            I am holding your credit card from last 2.5 yrs. I was regularly paying more then minimum amout but last year inspite of paying regularly they charged me panelty/ late payment charges and over dues for e.g. my statement shows that you have to pay 500 as minimum amount i was paying 1000/- Rs. then also how it got over due.

                            Second thing when i apoke to your call center in Mumbai they told me that you have never paid single amount from january 2008. They told me that we are charging Hiden charges which is not shown in your statement when i asked they were not able to reply from that day i have spoken to yr mumbai person for 2 to 3 times but still my matter is pending at that time also i was ready to my dues but Bank never replied. As they never tried to shortout my Problem i stoped payment ( only because they told me that you have never paid single amount)

                            Now they want me to pay dues. I am ready to pay my original dues.

                            please reply as early as possible. please inform your Rajkot Branch to do needful thing and inform them that you have received my complain.

                            ICICI Bank has installed a Credit/Debit Card Machine at my retail showroom. On 24 aug 09 I sold some articles worth Rs. 203380.00 to Rohan Bansal against an international debit card swipe issued by HSBC Bank. It is a Visa card no. [protected] with exp. date. 12/2010. The Icici bank Machine accepted the card and the settlement was done and batch closed. We have all the required proofs such as VISA card copy Customers Identification and his signature on the merchant copy too. The Bank now is not crediting our a/c with the beforesaid amount. please loo into the matter and respond

                              My ICICI credit card has been hacked. On 5th April, 2013 around 20.14 PM I got five sms alerts on my mobile that transactions in USD (around 700) was made at various outlets.. I was shocked because my card is very much with me and I have never shared details about my credit card with anybody. I am quite educated and know the importance of confidential data regarding credit cards. Immediately I tried to call ICICI call center and after 10-15 minutes I was able to connect to the customer care representative. The customer care representative firstly blocked my card and then he connected me to the concerned department to raise a dispute case. That person told me that a total of 11 transactions have happened in that time in USD. They took my complaint (SR[protected] and assured me that as soon as the merchant presents the bill, the bank will raise a dispute. They also told me that the procedure will take 30 days and I need not make any payment till 30 days. They also confirmed that I need not to do any action regarding this.They have also assured that once the amount is reflected in the statement, they will reverse the same and will provide a temporary credit.

                              But I have read many complaints in consumer forums, where customers are assured by banks of reversing such unauthorized fraudulent transactions but when the statement is generated, customers are being harassed to make such payments. Also there were so many fraud reports in news in January month regarding misuse of ICICI credit cards.

                              I m a very old customer of ICICI bank and I hope that the bank will settle all issues in favor of me without any such sort of harassment. Requesting you to please act and provide me a positive solution asap.

                                After every 5-6 months once, the ICICI bank not despatching the credit card statement. it may be with courier people problem or banks problem itself.I have requested the concerned officers umpteen number of times regarding sending of hard copy of the statement. I have paid the credit card amounts well within the time period as and when I receive hard copy of the statements.My credit card No: [protected] and using the same from 2002 on wards.In the Mar 2013, I did not receive the statement, however, I have paid the amount Rs 2068/-on confirming from call centre(after four days continuous effort) vide cheque No:442634 dated 21.03.2013. I could find out that all sorts of late fee,service tax and interest charges levied which is un justified and delay caused is not from my side. Therefore, I request the concerned officer to waive off the extras in total.

                                Credit Card — non recpt of credit card statement

                                we are not recieving statemnt on time , statement recieved always after expiry of the date , resulting into imposing of interest rate / penalty. The bank has never taken care about this matter.

                                ICICI Bank (Credit Card Department) — non receipt and misuse of credit card

                                This is Archana Gupta and I have an Account with ICICI Bank for the past 1 year and it’s a salary account[protected] with 0 balance. Today I get to know that my bank account has been ceases and it shows an account balance of Rs:41683.80/- and total available balance as 9274.08/-, without any intimation. and I would like to bring to your notice that I had called up the customer Care department to ask them and they said that its against your credit card bill.

                                In January first week I received a call from ICICI Bank that I will be receiving a credit card in a day or two. I told them that since my wedding is to take place on Jan, 18, you are requested to give me a call before delivering the credit card as there were many guest at my place. The month passes by and I have not received any credit card. In February, 08 I received a message on my cell saying that you made a transaction of Rs. 39, 398/- . I was shocked and I have made a telephonic complain in the credit card department. They said that they have delivered the card to my mother Sushma devi, who showed the ration card as her ID Proof. But my mother name is Sunita Gupta and we don’t have any ration card as an ID Proof. I faxed my complaint at the credit card department, and then I was relaxed thinking that my complaint is registered, even I had made several complains to the Credit card department for the wrong bills and corrected them but there was no action taken from their end.
                                Now today I came to know that my account has been ceased because of the due payment of the credit card.

                                I also have loan going on with your bank. Who will be responsible for the EMI of this loan in such crisis?

                                I am shocked with your action of ceasing my salary account without having any proof of either my receiving of the credit card or the usage of the same. I am shocked with the irresponsibility of the delivery heads of the banks who are not concerned to deliver the card to the holder; neither are they concern to confirm from the holder of the delivery of the card. Being a responsible citizen I promise to pay the double amount to the bank if they show me my signature on receiving the credit card or while using the same.

                                ICICI Bank — Non-receipt of credit card statements.

                                I am not receiving credit card statements since June, 2008. When I contact Phone Banking Officer, I am told that they have despatched the statements. Since 2004 I had been receiving the statements to my residential address only. But, I am not receiving the statements since June, 2008. I suspect that the courier agency, to which the statements are handed over for delivery is not delivering the same at my residential address. I am learnt from Phone Banking Officer that the statements have been delivered to some Mr Kiran Raj. But no such person is available at my residential address. Therefore, the ICICI Bank has to ensure the delivery of statements to the person intended for. If anything goes wrong by misuse of credit card number, the ICICI Bank has to take responsibility.

                                ICICI Credit Card — NON DELIVERY OF PARCEL

                                ICICI Bank send me a credit card vide awb no.[protected] dated 26.8.2008. Your Jaipur Office has returned my above document by quoting reasong" Out of delivery area". This is second time returning my document. My residence is situated in the near of city . Every courier goes at my residence for delivery mail but your JAipur office returned my every parcel.
                                I request you to please get my above parcel delivered me urgently. Kindly instruct your Jaipur Office not return such type of documents and deliver the same to the customers residence.
                                Kindly look into the matter and cooperate me in this situation and get me delivered my above document urgently and instruct your Jaipur Office for repeating not the same.

                                ICICI Bank — Non receiving of the payment

                                Payment of ICICI bond - ICI[protected] (In the name of Prem Lata Mittal – Mother) & ICI[protected] (In the name of Gaurav Mittal - self) was due on 7th Nov; the forms for redemption were submitted around 15 days ahead of due date in ICICI Ghaziabad branch; We have yet not received the payment. I had been continuously following up with ICICI helpdesk and had been getting a simple reply that cheque were issued and sent on 7th Nov; no more updates available...

                                ICICI helpdesk does not have the answer. If the cheques were sent on 7th Nov by speed post, why are they yet not delivered; I doubt if speed of speed post can be lesser than the speed of the normal post!!! Who is responsible for interest during these 11 days?

                                Request you to please forward the complaint to the responsible to get me the exact status of the payment.

                                Personal — non receipt of dec credit card statement

                                I have not received Dec credit card statement # [protected]. I have contacted your helpline[protected] on 9 occasions since 23-12-08. All representatives assure me that I will get the same in 3 hrs in my email and paper copy after 4 working days. Till date I have not received anything. I have visited the Andheri (E) branch today and advised them to stop payment of credit card dues, due to non receipt of statement. I hope some one will wake up and take timely action before events take an ugly turn and prevent any litigation in this matter.

                                I would also like to register a strong complaint against one of your call centre employee one Mr Zahir who took my call on25-12-08 at 2pm and again on 31-12-08 at7.50pm. He is in the habit of hanging up on you during course of conversation and we are left talking into empty space. The same can be verified by you from the call log you must be maintaining. I would like to know the action you propose to take against this boy.

                                I was using a HSBC credit card no.[protected] which i terminated on 9th nov 2009 due to untimely statement delivery & due to this late payment charges were being levied on me. Despite repeated request to reverse these charges on my account i finally terminated the card for which i got a confirmation letter from HSBC after that i recieved a letter from the same dated 19th nov 2009 stating that my account is no longer arrears but inspite of all this i am being constantly harrased to make a payment of 5700 approx. which consists of all late payment & annual charges . Harrasment is to the extent that daily i am recieving calls on my mobile & residence phone numbers at least 20 times in a day & the executives speak in a very abusive manner no matter what ever explanation i try to give them. this is the worst experience i have come across in my life .

                                  on 30the march 2013 , i had done ATM transaction from icici ATM at patna boring road branch, timing was 12.52.i had requested for 3000 rs but it dispensed only 2000 Rs ( one 1000 note and 10 100 rs notes). furtheer aggravating thee pain No transaction slip from ATM. immediately i rushed to nearest icici branch i.e your zonal office. i was told by staff that we don't solve such problems, you can go to other branch.

                                  i request you to verify at your end , theis might be conspiracy from thee agency or theird party which put money in ATM machine.

                                  i felt cheated and consider theis as fraud against me by icici bank, i want my money back.If you fail to have credited my money, I will have no option, but to initiate appropriate legal action which will entirely be at your risk as to cost and consequences and will lodge a complaint withe BANKING OMBUDSMAN in RBI to protect my loss.

                                    ICICI BANK ATM — claim of the fraud by icici atm

                                    I, I.M.Sultan @ irukooran is waiting for a claim of Rs 5000,wrongly sallowed by an ATM at Rangarajapuram booth of ICICI .This was reported by my Bank ( I B)and me on months back, has not yet recovered. Please see my mail via consumer's Complaint archives. What was happend on that mechine released money on those days was also discribed in a picturescued manner and yet traced or checked by your men is horrible. Computrished reply was clicked and sent to my bank with in next day itself and the matter was closed was unhuman. Reserve Bank of India regrets for these type of ignores on seniors and small pesoners accoured like a fraud. kindly take a further move on this Mechine Made Mistake and credit the money as soo as with all fines mey be applicable.
