[Resolved] ICICI Bank — Non disbursement of loan and refusal to return processing fee | |||
It is stated that undersigned were sanctioned home loan of Rs.10,00,000/- by the ICICI bank in June 2011. That Rs.5,500/- were charged as processing fee and 2400 TSR charges. Even prior to making payment of 2400 towards, I have categorically shared with bank representatives of the property documents. Later on, the Bank did not disburse the loan amount citing one reason or other and, finally, on 30.07.2011, one day before the execution of registration refused to give the loan. Thus, being aggrieved, I wish to recovery of Rs.7,700/- charges and Rs.25,000/- as damages for mental harassment and physical discomfort. While I was assured that loan will be processed with-in 15-20 days of application, after 2 months of application submission, just one day prior to my last date of registration (this date for registration was originally fixed based on ICICI bank representative verbal commitment), bank personnel called to inform that loan can not be sanctioned. Thereby putting me in precarious position and severe mental agony. Was this information helpful? | |||

ICICI Home Loan — refusal to help
I work overseas and while i was overseas.. a builder from trivandrum aswathy gardens approached us with with a housing plan .. according to the plan the house would ber build in 6 months, , with ICICI providing the mortgage.and aftre the loan being sanctioned to us it would be given to the builder only at particular stages after the satisfactory work has been completed.we took a loan for 70 lakh IRS with a down payment of nearly 12 lakh[estimate figure] the work commenced immediately and we left india for continuing our jobs.. and it so happened after a certain stage the work was delayed.. for along time.. the builder gave us excuses..but the bank kept pressuring us to release the money to the banker though the work was not completed on time.. any way the work was completed by 2 years.. meanwhile we had change of job etc.. and moved to US but unfortunately the financial situation has changed and caused job losses and we requested ICICI several times to for help because of our financial situation .. but we never got a positive reply.. all they did was kept asking us to pay the monthly EMI.. not offering any kind of solution.. the point is the bank along with the builder put us customer is deep trouble by not completing the work, , but issuing the money and now not giving us any option or making any changes in the loan agreement.. please suggest
