[Resolved]  ICICI Bank Home Loan — cheating and harassment to customers

I am holding a home loan with this bank...this month the bank (as they say for some technical reason) did not put up the monthly EMI cheque in my bank for clearance...And now they are pressurising me to give them another fresh cheque...for which I asked them to return me the old one...but they are not doing so...and are harassing me to give them a new one but CANT TRUST them now...Its their mistake if they have not sent the cheque for clearance...Will it be safe if i give them a new cheque without taking back the old one...Will someone suggest something as to what is right according to the rules

You can cancel the old cheque by giving stop payment for the old one and give them a new cheque. in this case the money will not be debited 2 times from your account. but at the same time the bank might ask for late payment fee. please inform them clearly that it is bank's mistake and not yours. raise a ticket for the same in the customer care and use the ticket number for your future reference.
