[Resolved] ICICI Bank Home Loan — Foreclosure Charges. | |||
Hello ICICI Bank, I had taken a floating rate home loan from ICICI Bank in Aug-2008. In the Loan document it is stated that there will be 0% charge for Part and Full Prepayment. Since the interest rates of ICICI Bank are higher and after repeated failed requests to reduce my rates to the rates offered for new Customer, i am planning to shift my home loan to other Bank. But when i asked to foreclose my loan, i am asked to pay 2.21% as foreclosure charges. This is completely unacceptable as in the loan document it is clearly stated that there will be 0% charges. I have attached the scan copy of the Loan agreement stating the 0% charges clearly for reference. Can someone from Bank please rectify this. Home Loan — Foreclosure charges
I am Laxman Thite having home loan with HDFC. They are claiming there loan transfer charges to be 3%. They are looting us.
