[Resolved]  ICICI Bank — Worst service award

I have been visiting the ICICI Bank Home Loan branch at Nariman point since 3 years and have seen the service go from Bad to Worse to THE WORST EVER. Today on 6th october 2010, I visited the branch entering at 1.42 pm ( Service request number CL 147). As i awaited my turn I observed for almost 15 minutes all counters were free but the numbers on the electronic board were unchanged. No Branch Manager. When asked who was next in charge the watchman directed me to one staff ms.NAMITA RAJ. The other one who I have dealt with on earlier occasions ms. PARVINDER BAWA simply chose to leave her place and walk around. Ms Raj took my case and before giving me a response within few minutes asked another customer who was standing to take the other seat in front of Ms Bawa, who had still not returned. This customer had walked in full 21 minutes after me ( CL 157 time 2.03pm). I was shocked that she called another customer randomly without even attending to the first one leave alone finishing.
When asked why she hadn't given me a reply for a long time I was told the systems were slow. If they were so slow how come she was able to simultanoeusly look up 2 accounts at the same time on the same machine ( ms Bawa's) as she was able to give the reply to the other customer and give details to the other customer with me sitting under the pretext of a slow system.
Finally she took my pre-payment cheque and gave me partial details of what I had asked, the amount for foreclosure and was unable to give me the amount for downward readjustment of the Interest rate. I decided to leave in DISGUST rather than waste more time there. Finally ended up coming out of the branch at 250 pm over one hour of frustration with the worst service.

ICICI Bank had better sit up and take notice. If the Service at other branches is anything like this they woudnt have too many customers left to service. I for sure will never bank with ICICI Bank in any way in future. They would certainly qualify for the WORST SERVICE AWARD.

Dear All,

I hold an account with ICICI bank. I would like to highlight the poor quality of service offered by this bank to its customers. The Internet banking website doesn't work (almost 90% of the time) when you require it the most & if a call is made to the customer care, the call either gets disconnected citing the large number of calls they are servicing even at 6:00 am in the morning or at 11:30 pm in the night. If you somehow manage to get through to the customer care executive, you will notice that they are not equipped to address the concern of the customer.
