[Resolved] ICICI Bank — not being able to track my cheque, pathetic response from branches | |||
It was Nov 4, 2011, when i submitted a bank to ICICI branch, Karauli. It was a foreign bank cheque and I was told that it would take 21 days to get cleared. After more then 4 weeks now, calling the karauli branch, visiting a branch at malviya nagar jaipur, calling customer care many times, calling the account holding branch at Kolkata at least for 50 times by now, No body has been able to tell me the location or status of this cheque. The response of the executives at all places have been terribly apathic and insensitive. There is no way you can file the complaint to them. The IVR system over phone takes at least 10 min to give you a response and 60 % of the times executives say their system is down. What nonsense is going on in this country and why a bank like ICICI is behaving like a municipality clerck? can you please help me with tracking of this cheque? at least they should tell me whether it is lost or it is into a particular process?
