What to say about the pathetic ICICI people?

I was supposed to open three in one account - Savings account, Trading a/c with ICICI direct, and Demat account.

I put a request through phone call and a customer rep comes and takes my forms and all the other documents.

After two days I receive a call that Axis bank cheque that i gave him will not be accepted by him and he wanted State Bank cheque (the pass book of which i attached as address proof). As such I told him I am ready to give other proof. Or give introduction details for the savings account.

The concerned Customer rep one Mr Alam (Ph No. [protected]) who collected my documents kept telling me everyday that he will come and collect the documents or Introduction details. And everyday I am calling him and following up instead of other way round.

In the end I told him not to open an account because of their hopelessness.

And he was only too happy to do that.

If no. 1 Private sector bank of India is like that, then the condition of India is critical.

I dont know what to do with them. I will better open with other online platform.

ICICIDirect 3 in one account — Delays and frustrating customer service

I am trying to open an account since Jan 21st. First 2 times it got rejected because of simple reasons and they took 1 month to process it. After sending documents again for one month just nothing happened. I kept getting messages from them that it got rejected again, accepted, rejected etc. There are so many service requests and numbers created. So much follow up and contradictory communication being sent from ICICIDirect.
Eventually they said, it is accpeted. Next week again I got the SMS saying it is rejected since the telephone bill is older than 2 months.
THIS IS HEIGHT OF Frustations, since ICICIDirect was sleeping on the application for 2 months and in the end holding me responsible that I have not sent the latest Phone bill. The whole experience is a NIGHTMARE.

MANY TIMES IAM TRYING TO OPEN THE ONLINE TRADING A/C.EVERY TIME IAM FILLING ALL MY DETAILS.EVERY TIME A REPLY IS COMING THAT ICICIAGENT WILL APPROACH ME .BUT NO ONE IS COMING .MORE THAN OF 10 TIMES I HAVE BEEN APPLIED.

I Smita Sachin Shinde want to open D'mat account.

I had approached your ICICI Direct - Kothrude Branch, Happy Colony, Kothrude – 411038, around the month of November-December’07.

My Application # is [protected].

After completing approx 4-5 months, still my account is not yet get opened and I am not received any proper feedback from your executives.

I had tried to get information through your Phone Banking Service also, but I am not able to get any proper feedback from their also.

Please have a look into this matter & do the needful

I agree with this...It just sucks...I am going thru lot of pain and trauma to activate my account...the process is just stupid and customer support is just crap...

I am also facing the same issue. It is very frustrating.

I too face the similar experience. There is no help/explanation to what these Response ID & ARN are. On calling support, after all the choices, the menu tells that this service is available only 9to5.

icici bank/demat account — regarding demat claim

sir i had opened my demat account in icici bank, vellore branch, tamilnadu, india.before 5 months (approx)
and bought 7 shares or SAIL and sold after 2 month, but the amount have not been credited to my account still, i have asked bank employees many times but they have not responding, and also gave the written complaint to the branch manager, but stii no steps have been taken, so kindly take the necessary action on the bank and credit my money in my account, , , ,

ICICI DIRECT — Shares Vanishing - ICICI Magic

I bought 75 Excelinfo On 7 aug 2009. ( Settlement No 2009146, I have digital contract Note as well). I placed an order to sell them on 10 aug09. I believe this order was excuted as the price surged ahead of my selling price on that day. But mysteriously this transcation never recorded in the order book or trade book. Further digital contract notes are not showing this transaction. Demat account confirms the buy on 7th aug09. But today ( on 12 th aug09) there is no "Excel Info " shares in my demat account. I am a small investor and this occured a loss of Rs.8700 to me. Guys, share your experience here in this forum and suggest me solution to this problem. I have already complained to this customer service, but no reply so far.

i agree 100%. this bank service is extremely poor. they are not bothered. opening itself is taking more than one month.

ICICI demat security is like that not even their genuine customers can derive any benefit because of their stupid web policies!
If your account get locked somehow (typed password wrong or something), forget service for one month!
The website is like that even if you move the mouse, it gets disconnected due to security reasons!
I am in states and you can understand my situation. i don't have any access to my demat account because the new password never came before i left. I have no idea what has happened to my shares, MF, etc. I hope i at least recover my principal amount!

I cannot agree more with it. I have been trying to access the DMAT account for the past several months with no success. I like the bank representatives in Hyderabad and they try their best to help me out in the US and their efforts are much appreciated. I really don't understand why ICICI has to be so complicated when other international banks can function seemlessly with their on-line operations. Just really frustrating. Did any of you eventually succeed with this process? I will be grateful if you could share the magic. Thanks.

Icici securities নামের একটি কোম্পানির সাথে stock broking এর ব্যাবসা করতে গিয়ে ভয়ানক এক অসাধু চক্রান্ত সম্বন্ধে জানতে পারলাম এবং প্রতিবাদ করতে গিয়ে আরও ভয়ানক সব চক্রান্তের শিকার হয়ে চলেছি । জীবন সংশয় ও মিথ্যা মামলার হুমকিও পেয়েছি বেশ কয়েক বার । কিন্তু বাংলার বাংলার জনসাধারণের টাকাকে কোম্পানির / বাক্তিগত সম্পত্তিতে পরিণত করার যে ঘিন্নতম-নোংরা অসাধু চক্রান্ত চলছে তার বিরুদ্ধে আজ প্রতিবাদ না করলে আরো বিশাল অর্থনাশ হয়ে পথের ভিখারি হয়ে যাবে বাংলার বহু মানুষ ।
প্রমানসহ আমি দাবি করছি যে আজ অব্দি খুব কম করেও প্রায় ২০, ০০০ সাধারণ মানুষ এদের প্রতারনায় নিজেদের কষ্টার্জিত টাকা হারিয়েছেন । আবারো প্রমাণসহ দাবি করছি পুরো টাকাটাই তারা শেয়ার এ হারেন নাই, বরং তাদের টাকা গ্রাস করেছে এই কোম্পানি খুব এ ধূর্ততার সাথে হাথ ঘুড়িয়ে । যদিও অনেকে অভিযোগ করেননি, কারন তারা এই বিশাল পুকুর চুরির ব্যাপারটা ভালভাবে ধরতে পারেননি বা তাদের পুরোপুরি মিথ্যা বোঝানো হয়েছে । আসলে ব্যাপারটা খুবই সূক্ষ্মভাবে ওপর মহল থেকে এমন ভাবে নীচের মহলের সাথে সাঁট-গাঁট করে করা হচ্ছে যে প্রতারিত খুব ভালো করে ধরতে পাচ্ছে না যে তিনি প্রতারিত হয়েছেন না ভাগ্যদোষের শিকার হয়েছেন ।
কিন্তু আমি এই প্রতারনার কথা ধরতে পেরে যখন icici securities এর ওপর মহলকে জানাই তখন থেকেই আমি এদের ১ নম্বর শত্রুতে পরিনত হই ।
Icici securities এর ওপর মহল থেকে ক্রমাগত চাপের মুখে এবং bse/nse/sebi এর নাম করে ওদের পাঠানো নকল লোক ও চিঠিতে ভয় পেয়ে গিয়ে আমি ওদের বিরুধ্যে অনেক প্রমাণ প্রতারিত হয়ে ওদের হাতেই তুলে দিয়েছি । এখনও অব্দি আমাকে ওরা ভয় দেখিয়ে চলেছে এবং আমার বিরুধ্যে মিথ্যা মামলা সাজিয়ে চলেছে ।
মিথ্যা অ্যাওয়ার্ড / আর্থিক শক্তি / আইন এর ক্ষমতার বলে বলীয়ান এই ধনী কম্পানির যে ৩/৪ জন লোক এই ভাবে বাঙালিকে অর্থনৈতিক ভাবে পঙ্গু করে দিচ্ছে তারা আবার নিজেদের কে কলকাতা পুলিশ ও বিভিন্ন রাজনৈতিক বাক্তি এর খুব কাছের লোক বলে দাবি করছে । এদের সেই নিচ-মহল এখন সোজাসুজি দাবি করছে যে পুলিশ / কোর্ট/ nse/bse/sebi এর বিভিন্ন লোক ছাড়াও এরা রাজ্য ও কেন্দ্র সরকার এর কিছু নেতা – মন্ত্রির ঘর ও icici group এর টাকায় চলে, তাই এদের বিরুধ্যে কোথায় গেলেই ন্যায় বা প্রতারিত টাকা কোনটাই ফেরত পাওয়া যাবে না, উল্টে কোর্ট – পুলিশ এর চক্করে আর কিছু টাকা এরা খসিয়ে দেবে ।
হাজারো প্রমান সহ দেখাতে পারি যে পুরো কাণ্ড তাই আসলে icici securities এর অপর- মহল সমর্থিত ও ২০১১-২০১২ তেও হাজার হাজার বাঙালি আবার পথে বসতে চলেছে, এদের দ্বারা প্রতারনার শিকার হয়ে icici securities এর সম্পত্তি আরও বাড়বে এবং বাংলার কিছু সাধারণ মানুষ পথের ভিখারি হয়ে যাবে ।
আমার বাংলার মানুষকে এই নোংরা প্রতারনার হাত থেকে মুক্তি দিতে সম্প্রতি nse/bse/ sebi তেও এদের বিপক্ষে মামলা করেছি যার ফলে আমার বাক্তিগত ভাবে প্রচুর অর্থনাশ / সময় নাশ হয়ে চলেছে। কিন্তু ঘোষিত ফল যে ধনী প্রতারানাবাজ icici securities এর কর্মীদের পক্ষপাতদুষ্ট হতেও পারে এখন থেকেই মনে হচ্ছে ক্রমাগত ।
সততা ও পরিশ্রমের মাধ্যমে যেখানে মানুষের ধনবৃদ্ধি করার কথা চিন্তা করতাম সেই সফল বাণিজ্য এর নামে মানুষের টাকা নিয়ে নোংরা খেলা দেখতে পারিনি বলেই আজ আমাকে মিথ্যা মামলায় ফাসিয়ে দেয়ার ভয় দেখানো হচ্ছে, এমনকি বাড়ি থেকে বেরোনোর জন্নেও নিরাপত্তার অভাব অনুভব করছি ।
আমি এই প্রতারণার অভিযোগে আমার কাছে শেষ কিছু থাকা (( অনেক প্রমান এ বিলুপ্ত করে দেয়া হয়েছে ও ভয় দেখিয়ে প্রতারণা করে নিয়ে নেয়া হয়েছে, চাপের মুখে আমাকে দিয়ে মিথ্যা লিখিয়ে নেওয়া হয়েছে )) বাকি কিছু প্রমাণ ও আমি দিতে রাজি যদি এই রাজ্যের সরকার ও পুলিশ সেটা গ্রহণ করে / তদন্তে সাহায্য করে ও হাজার – হাজার প্রতারিত মানুষকে তাদের টাকা ফিরিয়ে দেওয়ার মৌখিক ঘোষণা সরকার করে তবে ।
সাথে আমার জীবনের নিরাপত্তার নিশ্চয়তা দিলে icici securities এর দ্বারা প্রতারিত বহু মানুষকে আবার তাদের প্রতারিত টাকা ও শেয়ার ক্ষতিপূরণ / ন্যায় পেতেও নিশ্চয় বিনা খরচে সাহায্য করবো প্রতিশ্রুতি দিচ্ছি।

ICICI — Account locked and dont remember my account number
