[Resolved] Icici Direct — ACTIVATION OF DEMAT ACCOUNT

I opened a Demat Account with ICICI Direct in 2005 and then I was transferred. Since last three years I am trying to activate my account, inspite of my continuous efforts.
The procedures for handling one's own account are very complex and complicated. There is absolutely no guidance provided to the customer. ICICIdirect.com, the website, does not provide for any method of communicating with the bank. There are no contact addresses given. Link to Customer Services only leads one to thousands of other products.
The bank should consider to reduce the number of required secret information. User ID and Password are ok, but the requirements of Response ID, ARN No. and similar parameters are simply overwhelming and getting each one of them through different processes, completely frustrates the customers.
I wish SEBI could be more small non professional investor oriented.
