[Resolved]  ICICI Home Loans — Original document not returned

My Name is Murugesan Ramasamy and I have taken a loan from the ICICI HFC for Rs.1800000/- I have completed the EMI in the month of Jan 2010. I am following it up with the customer care of ICICI for my original documents and till date I have not got the documents. The Service Request ref is SR[protected].
When we delay the EMI, ICICI charges penalty and when ICICI delays the documents, there is no accountability. Is there any suggestions to get the documents from the bank immediately?

ICICI Home Loans — Loan Sanctioned without Customer Approval

Hi,
I am Satish Sadasivam, an NRI living in UK. I planned to buy a flat in Chennai when I visited Chennai two years back. I got introduced to a ICICI representative by bank and he came to my home. I initially thought it is very good service and handed over a cheque for processiong fee. Then I came back to UK and have been looking for flats in Chennai. After two months, I came to know that my cheque has been executed for a loan amount of 25 Laks. I was shocked to realise that, without my knowlegde loan was sacntioned. I phoned up Bank (with around 25 different international calls) and asked why was loan sanctioned without me, even finalising the property. All that I was told is dolgy response, "Sorry loan is sanctioned and can't be refunded". This is really a bad business mode and I was really shocked to see Bank's response.
So in my view, even though our National banks like SBI, Canara, Indian lack in online and IT facility, they are far more better that so called h-itech banks. Atleast you can speak to one person, you know.
So friends, dont just go behind a attrative ads, choose some thing that suits for you. Also never plan big things in your short trip of two to three weeks to India.

ICICI Home Loans — Withdrawal/Shift of loan to another bank

Dear Ganesh Chawan,

Greetings.

Post the complaint earlier to Rajeev Sabharwal - COO of ICICI Home Finance and the addressal of the same, ICICI has chosen to continue its non-customer friendly ways. My loan has not seen reduction in rates as stipulated by RBI...

I have now chosen to part ways with ICICI and take the loan from another bank, only to discover that after all the heart burn, there is more,

a) ICICI is slapping me with a 2.25% pre closure charges and refuses to affect any reduction. A case of kill the customer completely lest he be able to breathe.

b) The loan being carried to another bank again faces trauma as your local office refuses to part with original documents immediately on receipt of pay order, and cite a 20 days delay, which is not acceptable to our new bank.

Please advise.. whether there will be some respite for us customers or do you want to completely kill us.

After all, you too must be a salaried employee and at times you are also a customer somewhere. What goes always comes back..

ICICI's customer unfriendly tactics never end. Today, I enquire about balance transfer to other bank, and they said, 2.25% will be charged not only on the outstanding amount but on the part-pre-payment made during last 1 year. How cheap!! Never go for this bank. And as the people are moving away from this bank, it is going to be doomed. So folks, beware, if you are still stuck with ICICI, you may be in soup in coming years.

ICICI Home Loan — Holding sanction of site loan

Dear Sir,
I have submitted photocopies of documents for sanction of Home loan to Chamarajpet Branch, Bangalore. I am not satisfied with her attitude towards the customer . Ms.RuchiKhandelwal is dealing with this case. I want to hold the sanction process until my further instructions. I want to contact customer care and ask to hold this sanction process till my further instructions.

You might have had a very cordial chat wid dem. Never do dat mistake again. Just blow da vistle and bang bang at them then dey will realize and come back to u. I took this route to know why they did this preapproved loan
maa chod de icici bank ke - saale pe case kar de - case mai 420 jaroor lagana - aur ye bhi ke tujhe black mail kar raha hai uska manager - sala bahan chod samajhta kaya hai apne ko - free ka maal hai - chanda kochar ke mail maar - rbi ko likh - aur saath mai banks obdsnment ko bhi mail maar - saala icici bank - paaka doobne wala hai - mai to uske paise kabhi nahi wapas karunga
Perhaps you don't know the meaning of that bank!

Even I had the same experience with the ICICI Bank, ICICI Bank failed to return my original document, we are not getting any reply other than regret and not ready to pay any compensation for the loss they made. Even OMBUDSMAN (it seems like he is also ICICI Bank person) is also not able to help me. No one will take any responsibility.
