[Resolved] Icici Lombard — fraud by ICICI Lombard | |
Dear Sir / maim, I Avaneesh Mishra got my Bajaj Pulsar bike insured with ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company on 24/06/08 and made the payment of Rs1225/- by cheque number 192130 of J&K bank. I have filled for insurance claim on 04/02/09 the Suman Bajaj (Sec 16 Noida, UP) informed me that my Cover note no 54330345 is on hold. On enquiring about the reason for hold with customer care, they informed that the cheque was not cleared. On checking with the J&K bank we found out that the said cheque was cleared from the account on 27/06/08. Again i contact to ICICI Lombard customer care .. they asked me to send my sacnned banak statement on his customer e mail id. I forwared all the required document asked by them but i did not get back any reply till the date. So, finally i am writting to you with great hope and expectation to help out my problem. I am aslo facing the same problem. they are cheating the people like any thing.. pls help me to resolve this prblem...
I did not receive any document from that fraud company ..but every months they have detected my amount.
I ask them to stop my payment but they are not ready to stop the payment. already we have paid the full amount. so contact icici lumbard. if i contacted that lumbard fellow they are saying you have to pay cancellation charge more than that.
What goverment doing on this?
Please help me to resolve this problem. i dont want to use icici credit card any more.
Please advice ur frieds to dont use ICICI credit card and lumbard. They are really ceating a people like anything.

Recently I got a call from ICICI Credit Card division offering a Insurance cover for my personal loan of 2.42Laks that I have taken using my ICICI Credit Card. The ICICI Credit Card representative explained me the offer as: The premium for Rs.2.42 Lakh will be Rs.82 per month for a total of 24 months and Rs.82 will be debited from my card account every month. I agreed, and then he told that I will get a verification call from ICICI Lombard. After some time, I got the call from ICICI Lombard representative, he asked for the card number and expiry date. I refused to give these details, but he insisted that the policy will be purchased from online, so these details must be required. I committed the mistake here, by giving my card details. The guy informed me that, the policy document and other details will be sent to me within 15 daysFew days later, i noticed that my card a/c has been debited Rs. 1, 740.00 instead of Rs.82 as I was told, also till now I haven't received a single paper from ICICI Lombard.
I don't know to who I have to complain about this?
Please never accept online offers through phone, ask them to send any representative directly. Don't commit through phone.
Also, NEVER give your card details through phone if any card rep asks. If they ask for card details, then 99% chances that they are fraud. Please be aware... Mostly the ICICI Lombard is doing this fraud by cheating the credit card customers.
In general, never accept/commit to a offer through phone.
