[Resolved] ICICI Pru Policy No 02424099 — premium paid but not showing | |||
Hi Mr V Vaidyanathan I write to you with immense frustration and dejection. I have a policy no 02424099 with you since 2006. I never faced any issues with this until this June. I’d been to my bank to request for a statement of account and realized that the ECS for June had not been debited from my account. The Bank manager from Kotak Mahindra had this amount debited from my account on the 18 June towards this ECS. I called ICICIpru from that day many times and each time I was told the payment showed dishonored due to “mandate required” reason and no one was able to explain what this reason was and kept asking me to contact my bank. I spoke with Guldip Bara (floor supervisor) who explained the meaning of this: ICICI Pru required me to submit a new mandate with bank details. I told him, I have not been notified for a new mandate to be submitted, my payments have always gone thru the same bank for more than 2 years and you didn’t take my payment with this reason! I’ve already told Guldip, I have no time to submit a new form. He has assured me the next payment will be taken on 13th July. I’ve since spoken to Dipy Dalad and Mohammad Sameer Siddique. Dipy did not even note my account nor did he call me as he promised on the 8th July after checking the status of payment made. Mohammad Sameer Siddique sounded helpful and assured me he had taken full ownership of the issue and said he would escalate this to the 2nd line escalation team. He was true to his words as I got a call from Tahzeem Khan within 2 hours. This girl dint know what was happening and kept asking me irrelevant questions like all the bank names I had set up ECS on, to pay the premium and that she would sort it. She then ask me for the current bank account no which I didn’t know and she refused to assists me stating this a was a mandatory detail required. However she dint understand my main concern was that I had paid the ECS which dint show and that this payment would also not be taken on time. She was actually shouting at me and was quite rude and brash with her tone. When I asked to speak with her manager she told me she had no manager and she was the only manager around and I couldn’t speak with any manager. She asked me to hung up stating she couldn’t do it herself. When I insisted I speak to her manager she told me she would arrange her manager Ashish Papidar to call me within an hour. Its 5 hours since and this call has still not been made. I have since been calling Kotak who keep saying they have paid ICICI the amount of Rs 1500 and ICICI should tell me why they have not received it.
