[Resolved]  ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co. Ltd. — Wrong Policy

As per the discussion with Telemarketing Executive of the (Mr. Deepak – Mobile No. [protected]) it was made to understand that a Short Term Insurance Policy (3 years with guaranteed return) has been floated by the Company and which has not been introduced / released in the open market and it is being dealt with the customers directly. It was made to understand that this is an Investment cum Insurance plan with guaranteed return. If a person invests Rs.10,000/- for 3 years i.e. total investment of Rs.30,000/- in all, at the end of third year the investor will be getting back assured sum of about Rs. 42,000/- and the sum assured will be Rs. 5 lakh.

Accordingly a cheque for Rs. 10,000/- was handed over to the Marketing Executive of the company (Mr. Anuj Kumar) who got my signatures only on the form with the assurance the form will be filled in their office to avoid any cutting in the form and subsequent rejection of the application. But to my surprise instead of sending a Short term policy of 3 years long term policy of 15 years has been sent to me and there is no mention about the guaranteed return as committed by the company's Executives, moreover the sum assured is just 2 lakhs instead of Rs. 5 lakhs.

In above regard even after getting in touch Marketing Executive, Mr. Deepak and several assurance by him to rectify the policy and commitment over the mistake of sending long term policy instead of short term policy. Till date there is no action from the company in sending the right policy.

Now my point is if there is no such policy why these Executives are making such false misgivings to customers.

Under the above circumstances I am approaching you with a request to send me the required policy as committed or else refund me the invested amount.

An early action in the matter would be highly obliged.
