this is Ajeet Yadav from bhopal M.P. i take a policy of iciciprudential life insurance co ltd hospicare premium is Rs 5230 i take this policy on 16 october 2009 but i recieve this policy on 13 february 2010 i give request for free look cancellation on 15 february 2010 but they said that your policy will not cancel at that time u are employee of the company right now i am not employee of the company same case will be freelook cancellation is accepted by the company i enclosed the document for this as attachment

    Subject – Complaint about no information from ICICI Prudential on my policy no.[protected].

    Respected sir,

    With all my pain I want to bring this issue in front of you.

    I have a life insurance policy from ICICI Prudential [02448231]. I was suppose to pay the last premium by 18th Feb. 10, But I came to know this thing on 19th Feb. 10 [Today] when I visit their office.

    The thing which surprises me a lot was, to pay the extra premium to claim the whole amount.
    Now this seems to be injustice to me, as I never had a communication about this rule.
    Just because of not having a communication from company side I will be loosing time and money.

    Details –
    Policy Name – ICICI prudential life insurance
    Policy no. – 02448231
    Place – Triambak Naka – Nasik.



    Problems –
    1. No communication about the last date of premium
    2. No information on the complications on laps of last date.
    3. Not having a proper system available at ICICI pru. Office to launch compliant.

      Two advisors visited my house for icici pru life insurance policy (assure wealth plus) ,completed the documents and collected a cheque Rs.30000/- as first premium per year.I got a confirmation message on my mobile phone,it showed a total of Rs60000/- to be deposited in a year in two half yearly installments of Rs.30000/- each.I complained at icici pru's customer care.they registered my comlpaint and told me that when i get the policy documents i have 15 days free look period and i can make changes. I told them that i am a govt.servant and my leave costs me a lot.Because i have to go in person to make any corrections ,but every thing was in vain.Now I got the policy document after about 15 days. it has a copy of application form what i have signed in original . i just shocked when i saw a clear OVERWRITING on the total premium amount as Rs.60000/-on Rs.30000 per year.Not only the overwriting but my signatures below this cutting are also fake.

      india to day book club offered me by mail jumbo pack of Rs.599/-(included books with cd rom of encyclopedia, free addidas bag and hotel voucher for 2 days three night stay total Rs.6000/-worth) now they send me letter to send onother books lunchbox worth rs.330/-and jwellery voucher of rs.5000/-if i have spent the jwellry voucher i have to spent rs.11000/- more so please lodge my complaint and take action against them.

        I had started my carrier in the year 2008 in the field of Tele marketing. I worked for 3companies in this time period and always tried to give more business to my companies but what i found that an employer is not at all satisfy by our hard and smart work. Not only me every body working for any of the company or firm are expecting there sweet at the end of the month but if you found that this month you will get of your salaries just because you have not hit your target then what would you react. Your face will become egg.

        I want to complain against those company or employers who are just taking tele sales officer in their companies but when the salary time comes then they show's there poorness by showing sales sheet, by excusing you have not worked properly and we have not got good business from you, we are a stater company so you will get your salary next month etc...

        I have a request to the Govt. Of India that please don't permit or give registration to those companies especially pioneer assurance co. pvt. ltd 8/ 3 Karol Bagh 2nd floor NR. to Jessa ram hospital new Delhi co. head Brijesh Mathur mob. no. [protected] and miss Sweety Arora mob. no. [protected] are fraud person and selling wrong policies to customers of India and cancel their registration who don't have back up(Finance),or good set up.I am not the only one person who is suffering from this issue there are too many more who are suffering from the same issue.Some times i think i had taken a bad decision of my carrier to become tele sales officier. How can a person live without money in metro city where prices are touching sky from the shelter to food from travel to cloths.


        Please please please pay an attention towards our issue other wise we will only think that any Govt. or Law firm are just for watching not for solving any problems. I wish you after reading this blog you will take some action against Employers or companies.

        We want our money and Govt. have to make some policy for those who re thinking to start any company or those who had started but not giving the salaries on time.

        We all will be great full to you.

          My self is indrajeetsinh zala ( mobile - [protected] ) from bharuch, gujrat.
          in my case we have taken thee policy of icici pru life and each policy has amount of 83,333 Rs. so we gave cheque of amount of 2,50,000 Rs to icici agent whose name was Mr. Robin from india infoline bharuch and this all amount has been deposited in icici. but after some time we received that a notice indicating that u have to pay 83333 Rs for every month but we have given this amount for the single premium and agent also told us that this is single premium policy at the time of purchsing then agent said he will convert this in to single premium policy, and he has also promised us that they will give us some gold coin as gift but neigther he gave us coin nor he changed this policy in single premium from last one year he is telling us i will do this but still today nothing has been done from him and ICICI office is saying that u have to pay all this money in every month otherwise your money will be lapsed.
          sir ,plese do needful in this regards and take the action as early as possible.

              i radhika lamba filed papers to ICICI prudential life insurance for a icici pru smart kid -new unit linked rp policy. the papers and payment was made in dec '09' but till now no policy papers have been sent to us.
              i also requested the manager that i want to drop my policy as i am not satisfied with their services, but there was no answer to my complaint. they just reply that policy will be sent to u within 2-3 days.

                Date: February 05’2010


                I had taken a policy Life Stage Assure, Policy Number 12194757, dated[protected], from ICICI Prudential life Insurance Company. I had taken the policy from one of your agents, Mrs. Anju Singh, working at your Delhi office. She described me about some new policies and told me that if I take a policy during the specified time period (approximately 20 days), then I would be entitled to a guaranteed bonus of Rs.50,000/- from the Company, and also that the guaranteed bonus would be given to me within six months.

                So I secured a policy, Life Stage Assure, from ICICI, at a premium of Rs.20,000/- per annum. I had chosen the option of half yearly payment of the premium. After the receipt of the policy certificate, I noticed that there is no mention of the guaranteed bonus of Rs.50,000/- anywhere in the policy papers. When I spoke to your agent, Mrs. Anju Singh, on this matter, she told me that this was a special scheme only for a few selected customers, and hence it was not mentioned in the papers. She further assured me that the guaranteed bonus of Rs.50, 000/- would be definitely credited to my account within six months.

                However, even after six months, there is no amount credited to my account. When I tried to contact Mrs. Anju Singh, I was unable to communicate with her as her cell number was continuously switched off. I called up the ICICI Prudential life Insurance Company Customer Care Executive and asked about my bonus amount. I came to know from there that there was no such scheme as described to me by Mrs. Anju Singh. The Customer Care Executive further informed me that Mrs. Anju Singh had been dismissed from her job. When I asked whether I could withdraw the current policy or not, I was told that there is neither withdrawal option nor any refund of the premium of 10,000 rupees which I had already submitted as my first premium. It was then that I realized that I had been cheated by your agent, Mrs Anju Singh.

                So kindly suggest how I can get the refund amount of Rs.10,000/- from your company.

                  Partial withdrawal not processed

                  I am getting frustrated to deal with ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co Ltd. To make partial withdrawal from my own contribution, I need to beg them as if they are doing a big favour to me. Officially they maintain that all partial withdrawals will be processed and fund credited within 6 working days from the date of receipt of the application. But despite receiving the documents, they do not process the withdrawal even after 7 working days...

                    1) Policy @ 11204646 cancelled without any reason or request from my end
                    2) Insurance advisor discrepancies which icici has agreed to and on there own will cancelled the policy
                    3) No response on my previous complaint regarding the same issue ,constant delays ,
                    4) Compensation required , reasons for delay ,lack of customer service, apology required and most important reply to the complaint
                    5) no copy of the complaint which gets filed on the icici website gets emailed on my id nor the advisor on the phone has a clue about it so you have to constantly repeat the same story to everyone .
                    6) Helpline advisor not giving any inforamtion and constantly asking to wait for 15 days
                    7) what happens to my family if something were to happen during this one month when my policy has been cancelled by icici without any reason or request from my end .
                    8) Best of all i still get sms asking me to pay my premium .
                    9) no response from the grievance redressal link on icici website

                    I am very disturb & frustraed for your services. company unit manager not listen any problem or not solve any quirey or not give any gideans for upcoming new plans . i said only one sentance, " iam not satisfied for your services"

                      Sir,
                      I G.GOPINATH having Accont no. "[protected]" in kothagudem ICICI branch, as being an one of the wealth customer from that branch I have taken a polocy no:"09664779"(Life stage pension)." I have paid my 3rd premium for that polocy no. and also I got receipt from your bank the details are Receipt no: 81572350 , receipt date: 01/10/2009 , by a cheque no: 23 dated: 24/09/09 from kothagudem branch".

                      Hence from the above proofs it clear that there no problem from my side regarding payment of my " 3rd year payment towards polocy no:09664779" but I have received " SMS message of dishonouring my cheque no: 23 of amuont Rs 1,00,000 towards polocy no:[protected] by your AD-ICICIPru on Dt:21/01/10 ".

                      As per above message I feel bad about your delay of alerting regarding dishonour of my cheque. I feel serious about this as that I have already paid my 3rd year payment and got receipt but you alerted me very late to act in this matter.

                      As the fault is from your side please rectify this problem urgently and consider funds allocation with effect from the date of cheque amount deposited for above mentioned polocy.

                      Please consider this complaint very seriously and take necessasary actions regarding alertness information immediately after the problem occurs and take displinery actions towards the persons causing this delay in-order to prevent in taking decission in future regarding transfer of all my deposits and polocies to another bank.

                        My son Davy Garg get the Education loan from Bank of India. the Bank demanded the Insurance, and the ICICI Bank's agent (tied with Bank of India ) make the Lifetime Super Pension policy 07673154 of my son, with a premium of Rs.14000/- pa, ( deducted from laon a/c) witch is impossible to pay for a student who has no income source.

                          Policy : Health Saver
                          I've taken ICICI PRU Life Health Saver in Oct 2009. I returned the policy in the free-lock period because of low annual limt (life cover). They asked me to pay 5000/- additional premium, to get more annual limit. I submited all policy documents, etc and gave check for the above amount. By Nov, i paid 20000/- premium and was awiting for the reivised policy doucment, insurance card and correctly calculated unit allotments.

                          To my dismay, Till-date I’ve not received the policy document. There is no revised policy document (booklet), the original policy booklet after correction of the above is missing!!! Till now have made 8 calls their your support team and no signs of receiving them. I have written 12 times (email), everytime their god damn system sends me a reference #. Some mails saying that they tried to reach me. Abo[censored]e bull this was. I received the policy statement which calculted the Units for 20k as of November.

                          The sad part was even after escalating to the grievance team and the core team in Mumbai, no response yet, it is 3 months since I applied.

                          I havent got the policy original documents, insurance cards or the correct unit allotment for the premium paid (15k+5k) till date. The only option i need to do is cancel my policy and switch to LIC or Bharti AXA.

                          There is no sense of customer care, no responibility, loads of confustion and god knows how are they managing all this.

                          My sincere recommendation is, i went through absolute bad phase in getting this problem fixed. No way i see an end to this at all

                          Yes I too got cheated and the issue is not solved since 2012. The crook is no other than their branch manager Hiten Shah of Chembur, Mumbai Branch. We told him to put or 50, 000 in fixed deposit and he sends us (in Canada) a life insurance policy without our approval and till now we have been calling and sending official complaints to deaf ears. I wish people will realize how bad ICICI is in the market and not deal with it in the future. I will never have any thing to do with ICICI for sure

                              FACTS OF MY CASE..IN JAN 2008 I WAS DOING OVERSEAS JOB.I HAD COME ON AN EMERGENCY VISIT FOR MY MOTHER BREAT CANCER OPTN.A DAY BEFORE I WAS RETURNING TO KUWAIT I REMEBER THAT I HAD SAVING OF ABT 4 LACS IN MY SAVING ACCOUNT .I WANTED TO INVEST IN A HOUSE AT MY NATIVE PLACE BUT I COULD NOT GET TIME TO GO THERE AND HENCE THOUGHT OF PUTTING IT IN FD .IT WAS LATE IN THE EVENING AND I KNEW ONE BANK WHICH WORK LATE TILL 8 PM AND I HAPPEN TO PASS...

                              I have to pay insurance premium due for one of my relative. When i approached a branch located at Pollachi(Coimbatore), they said only cheque can be accepted. But the problem is they are not providing any acknowledgement(receipt) for acceptance of cheque. I would like to know the reason for this.
                              Hi Buddy,

                              It’s strange to know about your experience because I too have policies with prudential but have never faced such issue..which branch did you visit to and did you highlight your concern it to the company?? I would suggest that you should contact their call centers or you can even write to them.

                                My name is Gurucharan Padki and i am an Advisor of ICICI Prulife, Malleshwaram branch. My Advisor code is 00192133. I work for one of the Big 4 companies and currently based in Hyderabad.

                                I want to share my bad experience and monetary loss due to the irresponsible management of ICICI prudential, Malleshwaram Branch, Bangalore.

                                One of my ex classmate,who was working for ICICI Prudential introduced me to this and recommended me to become an Advisor. I did take the IRDA exam and got registered as an licensed advisor (License No: 2620498)

                                I was assigned to an unit manager by name Himanshu for more than a year during which, i had got in many customers using my contacts.I had no problem the first year with my commissions. Mr. Himanshu, left ICICI and then after that i was assigned to Mr. Venkatesh from Malleshwaram branch. I was out of the country for about 6 months.After i returned i met Mr.Venkatesh (my unit manager) and his Manager Mr.Guruprasad when i visited Bangalore to discuss the .At that time i had misplaced my icici debit card pin number during my tranfer to Hyderabad. I co ordinated with Mr. Venkatesh and he helped me recover it.
                                When i went to the check the amount credited i was shocked to see there was nothing credited. I again contacted Mr.Venkatesh and he told me that there has been some error on their side and the amount will be credited. This went on for 2-3 months but nothing was credited. After few months Mr.Venkatesh called me and said that i have not been paid because i had not met the target for that year (that was due to my travel to US for 6 months). I was told i was short of Rs 26,000 business that year. I took a retirement policy the same month for Rs.20,000 for myself and Venkatesh told me he will help me with the remaining Rs.6000 to meet the target.I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY DOCUMENT FOR THE POLICY I HAVE TAKEN TILL NOW!! I received an SMS to pay the premium (i should have accidentally deleted that sms, for the policy number, but you should be able to find it in your DB for sure.)

                                So, at the end of the day, i have not received any commission for[protected]. I have no document of my policy and best of all - my unit manager does not respond to my calls!!!! Can you please help me on this? I am very disappointed and annoyed with the way i am handled as a customer as well as an Advisor of ICICI prulife.

                                  My name is Ajit Gupta and I am receiving continuous telephone calls from a B.P.O. on behalf of ICICI PRUDENTIAL on my phone number [protected] for the last 4 days . I am registered with Vodafone as a DND customer . Uptill now I have received almost 200-300 calls on a minute to minute basis. The pepole at the BPO are not only disturbing me and my business but also making my life a living hell by calling each and every minute . Below is the list of no. I am receiving calls from . I hope that my problem is understood and resolved at the earliest .

                                  I totally agrees with Mr. Gupta. As I am also getting calls from same no i.e. [protected] for life insurance policy like they are forcing us to purchase the policy by hook or crook. Some legal action should be taken. If taken in future, I will support it.
