[Resolved]  ICICIcredit Card — ICICI Credit Card Dispute Investigation Process.

I have one complaint regarding the unauthorized transaction on my credit card on[protected] of rupees INR 3,084.30 at ISNAPUR FILLING STATION-H.

I had received a sms on[protected] around 05:00PM Saying Tranx of INR 3,084.30 using Credit Card <my old card #> is made at ISNAPUR FILLING STATION-H.

Immediately I call Customer Care and informed, that I am in my office and I had received as SMS o[censored]nauthorized transaction of INR 3,084.30. Customer Care representative had registered my complaint [SR[protected]] for unauthorized transaction and for the cancellation of the current card. He informed me I will be getting the findings and status of the investigation within 30 Days.

After asking a question that, any one from ICICI Bank will going to call me for the initial investigation. How it happened and etc...

He said yes you will get call for the same.

I paid the billed amount including the dispute about 3,084.30 as well, for that month's outstanding.

After this I had not received any phone call, mail or message regarding the same. On 02/03/2013 INR 3,084.30 got credited on my credit card, INTERIM CHARGEBACK CREDIT.

On 03/05/2013 again same amount INR 3,084.30 got debited from my Credit Card.

One and half or two weeks back I called Customer Care and trying to understand this issue.
1. FOR MY RAISED DISPUTE ON ONE CALLED ME.
2. WITHOUT INFORMING ME DISPUTE AMOUNT GOT CREDITED IN ON MY CARD.
3. WITHOUT INFORMING ME AGAIN DEBITED SAME AMOUNT FORM MY CREDIT CARD
I think I had asked something for which he had no answer so he disconnected the call.

After some time again I call and this time Swapna [Customer Care Representative] received my call, I explained everything to her as I mentioned above. After listing everything, she told me for this issue she need to talk to her senior managers and kept call on hold. I don?t know she really had a discussion or not. After some time she informed me I have to pay the amount as this is finalized that this is not a unauthorized transaction. I asked her can you connect me to her senior manager, so I can asked about the way of investigation they did, without asking me any question and directly they are giving the verdict!
She tried to avoid my request, but when I asked so many times she said I will connect you to my senior manager please hold the call. After some time she informed me that she is not able to connect to her manager, with whom she had a discussion just 4 to 5 minutes back. I asked her to give me the call reference number she straightforward refused my request, by saying there is no reference number got generated for this call. After requesting so many times she told me, that she will arrange call-back from her manager for this issue.

I had not received any call for this issue, but yes for personal loan, insurance etc! I got so many calls. After that when I call Customer Care, I got message Due to very heavy calls we regret, please call again. I asked my friend [he is also customer of ICICI] to call ICICI Bank Customer Care [same number] with his mobile. He was able to call and talk to customer care representative, WHAT IS THIS?

Till that time I made my mind that I am not going to repay the dispute amount in any case, because this is an unauthorized transaction. I was in Bangalore on that day and time with my card. So who I can swipe the card at ISNAPUR FILLING STATION-H near to Hyderabad!

After sending this message I got a reply from ICICI Bank -

We have an exclusive investigation team which looks into the dispute-related complaints. As per the investigation, this dispute has been resolved in favour of the bank.

The signature is not the only valid parameter to resolve disputes. We have other parameters to decide on transaction disputes which we would be unable to disclose.

A card holder is responsible for the physical security of the card. In the case of loss/theft, or if the credit card is misused, the card holder is liable for all the transactions done on the card till the bank is informed of the loss/theft.

We regret to inform you that as the dispute has been resolved in Bank's favor so we are unable to reverse the transactions done on the card.

If you wish to escalate the issue please follow the below procedure:

After this ICICI Bank started charging the interest on the amount which is on dispute... how they can do this I don't know.

I had received the final decision letter with xerox copy of charge slip.

This charge slip itself is having issues.
1. On this slip only last 4 digits of my card are mentioned.
2. The name section is not available [my name is not printed on this charge slip]
3. The signature on this charge slip is not main.

In the previous reply CSO suggested me to raise a complaint online if I am not satisfied with decision. So same I did on 30th June 2013.

Till now I had not received any response from ICICI Credit Card department, but CSO mentioned as note in previous reply "I will get response within a period of 10 business days of receiving your communication."

I had payed the disputed amount to avoid the Interest on it but still I am not satisfied with the investigation you people done on back end if you had done any!

I am able to see same type of complaints on consumer forums. So I think this is repetitive issue may be caused by heavy traffic on server or issue with server itself...

They don't have the office where I can go and talk face to face on this issue... every thing with Customer Care and on every call I have to tell them entire story again and again...

ICICI Bank - Credit Cards — Disputed account with ICICI Bank Credit Cards

Dear Readers,

ICICI associates / marketing agent call people saying they have been offered a free credit card by ICICI. They ask your address to send the card !! If you give the address, a small boy (immature school boy) will come to your address & ask your address proof copy like passport / driving license etc. He will then ask you to sign on the photocopy and say that the card will come later...

Then will be a enquiry / verification person (verification agent) who will come to the address for a verification !! If you check with him, he will have one ICICI credit card application filled in your name and with your signature (some one would have filled the application with a forged signature after seeing your signature in the photocopy of address document) !!!

This is what those , stupids, criminals do !!!

The marketing associates / agents of ICICI are desperate to get business / sale of credit cards to innocent people and then lure them to spend on the credit card !! Later call those credit card customers by phone and harase them & come home / office with goondas / muscle men to flex money out from customers !!

Beware of such phone calls from credit card companies who say they are offering credit card FREE (FRAUD CARD) !! They go to the extent of FORGING (Criminal Offence) your signature in an application and send it to the bank for processsing.

This happened to me last year and I found their mode of operation by checking with the person who came for verification. He showed the application with FORGED SIGNATURE of mine !! to my surprise and horror !! I informed him that I have not signed any application, he asked me to give a written complaint to the verification agent office, which was given immediately. I also spoke with the owner of the verification agent company (a security service company), who said there are criminal marketing agents of credit card banks who do forgery for their own benefit. Later I got a call from the ICICI bank for verification of my application, which I denied and said the whole episode was a forgery drama by their marketing agent. They thanked me and I refused a card.

Credit Card — Credit Card Dispute

I had raised a dispute transaction with ICICI Bank 6 months back. Now they say it is resolved in Banks favor, but when i checked the documents i don't find the required information for which i had raised the dispute.
Now when i am trying to get in touch with ICICI Bank, no one is responding, it is almost a month gone now after that. They are charging me Late fees etc. They have taken more than their stipulated time period of 90 days for resolving the Dispute, How should i take it forward for resolution and reversal of those late charges.

ICICI bank,Credit Card — Disputed transaction again back to my current Bill

My Credit card no is[protected] is been stolen some one.I have Lunch the Service request no SR57955860 and police Fir no 116886 .

Culprit has doen soem transaction, evenif caught by ICICI bank still Bank looking for payment from me.

As a benefited customer I have constantly followed up to the ICICI bank Customer care regarding my case.Then It has transfer to the Bangalore FCU.I have given detail about the Culprit.Even Culprit has committed to pay by cash.then Mr. Murugan from FCU bangalore agreed and informed Video con tower ICICI Delhi to collect payment from the culprit.
All these things happen transparently.No ICICI has to be responsible to nab the culprit and collect money.I want a strict action on your side to the your channel.Why money was not collected from the culprit? Why no police action taken from ICICI although I have send all document and FIR copy.
To day after one month I am getting a bill with all transactions (Disputed also) .I am not going to pay the money as I have not transacted .

Kindly look in to the matter seriously as I have approached everyone, but no result.
Here culprit is caught he is admitted and willing to pay to ICECAP.Where is the problem that your guys are not collecting from him.There is some problem in your system which is not functioning properly.
As you are the highest authority to listen our complain.I request you to kindly take action.

I Think this simple case shows the value of the organization how they take care of customer.I am looking for a reply from ICICI bank regarding this investigation .

I read your query & i wud like to advise you that contact your bank & ask them for Principal amount agreement (I am not sure what exactly do they call it) wherein you only need to make the payment for what you have spent & all the late pymnt & intrst chgd will be reversed. tell your bank that u r not in a position to make the payment. icici credit card department — false information on credit card statement

ICICI Credit Card — False information to the customers

I am one of the victims of ICICI Credit card department. The reason is:

I own ICICI American Express Gold card since May-2008. I, before making a transaction, called Customercare and inquired about the types of EMI options. She for confirmation, took my 1. Card number 2. issue date 3. Mother's maiden name.
Then she started explaining me about different EMI options available. I opted for 9 months option and told her that, I am going to do the transaction and what is the procedure to convert that into EMI?
She then told me "to do the transaction first and then, call customer care. They will do the rest for you".
Based on interaction with her, I made a transaction and I made a call to customer care. I, then was shell shocked to know that, I cannot convert into EMI because, I didn't completed 3 months.
I was misguided and now, I cannot pay that total amount at once. I was cheated badly by ICICI.

ICICI — Credit card dispute

The culprit has changed my pin number and has borrowed the money (Rs 9600). How could he change my pin number without my knowledge? What security has bank provided me? I waited till now hoping that I will get a positive response but they are asking me to pay money? I have called so many times to customer care and they told me I needn’t pay but finally they are telling me to pay. I have logged a complaint against them but they have not stopped harassing me and now they are telling that they will debit amount from my account. Now including interest its 11, 700. Please help me.

My name is Archana Gupta. In January first week i received a call from ICICI Bank that i will be receiving a credit card in a day or two. I told them that since my wedding is to take place on Jan, 18, you are requested to give me a call before delivering the credit card as there were many guest at my place. the month pass by and i have not received any credit card. In feb, 08 i received a message on my cell saying that you made a transaction of Rs. 39, 398/- . I was shocked and i have made a telephonic complain in the credit card department. They said that they have delivered the card to my mother Sushma devi, who showed the ration card as her ID Proof. But my mother name is Sumita Gupta and we dont have any ration card as a ID Prrof. I faxed my complaint at the credit card department, and then i was relaxed thinking that my complaint is registered. Now today i came to know that my account has been caesed becuase of the due payment of the credit card. Yesterday, that is on 3rd i met with an accident and i was in an urgent need of money, but just becuase of one problem of the delivery person i am being harrased for the last 6 months. Please help me. I am shcked how can somebody without informing me can deliver my credit card. Being a responsible citizen i promise to pay the double amount to the bank if thay show me my signature on receiving the card card or while using the credit card.

I have been debited on my HDFC saving a/c. without informing me due to my creditcard problem as i have not payed the card ammount cos they have wrong charge debited to me for which i had argued. I had done no trancaction through card but they said we will see later you pay bill. This matter has passed for last 10 months. They also have send me the legal notice from chhennai.
Kindly let me know what to do.

icici credit card department — Forcing me to take insurance using my credit card

i am Ravi Turamari, Working in MNC in Bangalore.

i am holding my salary account in ICICI Bangalore.i am holding ICICI TITANIUM credit card.when i received card from that time i am receiving call from following number[protected],[protected], asking to take medical insurance.
When first time i got call i told them that i don't want any insurance.
today morning (23rd December 2008) again i got call from Person Gokul his number is[protected].
he was telling that i had applied for medical insurance along with credit card, u cant discard that, and it is already activated.
"If you want to cancel the insurance then u need to pay 24, 000=00 for credit card."
I contacted customer care for this they told there is no insurance is activated on your credit card.ICICI Customer care is not accepting any complaint also for this issue.

This is to inform you that i am holding ICICI Bank Credit Card since 2006 but this is the first time that there was a online transaction done on 20/11/08 through my credit card to TATA INDICOM, Mumbai.Where i don't have any TATA INDICOM connection and i am fully settled down in kolkata itself.After receiving the statement i saw that there 8 transaction done through my credit card of Rs 10588/ on 20/11/08.I have loged a complain to ICICI helpline they gave me a service request no.SR[protected]as 90days have passed it is now invalid).Till date the problem is not yet solved but again i gave a complain to ICICI helpline and the second request no.is SR99441274 on 09/02/09.I have send fax to ICICI Bank, Mumbai with all the details till date there is no solution.After complaining twice they have send a person from the collection team at my residence on 12/03/09.Please resolve my problem as soon as possible.

ICICI Credit cards — false credit statement

I have availed credit of Rs.11, 056 and i have refunded it vide SBI cheque no.572763 on 28.04.09 and it has reflected in the banks credit statement dated May 11, 2009, but i am charged auto debit return fee of Rs.250 inspite my payment before due date.Why?Please look into and do the needfull and correct the statement.
