[Resolved]  icontrol IPTV — backing up on mode of payment and provision of agreed services

A few months back i got the icontrol-iptv connection installed on terms of payment of Rs. 150 per month ( from chawla communications). I was informed that this included many added features such as rewinding a programee for all channels. This service, however, was withdrawn within a month without any information.

On 30th August '09, to my surprise I received a message telling me that I need to recharge my account to continue receiving i-control iptv services. When I called to inquire I was told that they have suddenly changed the mode of payment. I had hardly undestood how they could abruptly back-out on an agreement with the customer, when my i-control services were disconnected within 2 days of receiving the message.

When I contacted the local iptv-BSNL dealer they had no answers. They persistently refused to give me phone numbers of higher officials and tried to round-off the issue. This adds harrasment to a string of inconveniences and breach of contract in my transaction with Iptv. I have had to pay Rs 999 as security, Rs.625 for an new upgraded modem, had to disconnect my cable connection and am without any connection at present.

Kindly guide me as to how I should proceed with this matter to assure re-dressal of my greivances.
