i have booked icontroliptv at 26991500 in august but due to some resons it was rejected but i was not even told about its reason.
so after one month i rebooked it and i was given a mtnl line having ph no 28061753 .
after 10 days of its installation i was not even been provided with set top box.
i regularly call your customer care to know my status but i was told everytime that your profile and ob number has not come from mtnl and we have forwared your request but a solution cannot be taken.
My humble request to you is that please find out that what is going on my booking.
If a positive step is not taken i have choice but to cancel the booking .
Also i am fed up with your system of customer support and service .

I got my iptv disconnected on 11/9/08 due to poor service .S.T.B.box is also taken away by iptv Aksh but now refund of security deposit of Rs. 999/ is not being made inspite of several reminders.
Its a high time when all the customers of I-control IPTV, should write their problems about the services/support being rendered by Aksh Optifibre Ltd directly to the newly appointed Executive Director of MTNL, Sh Talwar, at New Delhi. His email ID is [protected]@bol.net.in and his office telephone No. 23325544.
Sh Lalit, VP of Aksh Optifibre Ltd. whos looking after the installation & service support operations of I-Control at New Delhi is most inefficient & incompetent person to handle the affairs. The CC of Aksh is unable to tell you even your complaint No. when you call them again for a follow up. The complaints are being attended on 7-8th day.They have best excuse to pass on the blame to MTNL. How can you believe them when you know that your broadband internet connection is working fine on the same telephone line.
I personally feel that MTNL is unnecessarily earning bad name inspite of providing good broadband service at the cheapest price - Rs. 599/- unlimited data download with 100 free calls. Instead of allowing Aksh Optifibre Ltd to further dent its image, MTNL should clearly tell them to mend their service/support or quit!
We have the MTNL broadband connection for more than 2 yrs now n we are pretty happy with it.
Recently we received many calls offering the MTNL IPTV.
Assuming it to be a good service as broadband, we opted for it.
But to my shock, no one turned up for the connection nor returned our deposit.
Then MTNL says that they donot have any role to play in this.

No one answers the helpline of Aksh optifiber.their websit doesnot reveal any office address.
In this scenario, whom should i ask my refund from?
I have to agree with the comments above. Aksh OptiFiber seems to be the most incompetent company on the planet! I had applied for this iControl thing on the same number as my MTNL Broadband (which works very well, by the way). These guys, got MTNL to issue a brand new number, set-up a connection and when they discovered the problem, they disconnected by phone!!

It has been 8 weeks now, I have been following up with iControl. Their answer is 'the problem is with MTNL'. But that is just plain lies. Whenever I call, iControl never has the complaint history available. And whenever I have complained at MTNL, someone has come over to check it within 2 hours. So clearly, not only at Aksh and iControl incompetent, inefficient and inept, they lie as well.

I want to send them a consumer court notice, but there seems to be no address where I can send it too. It is all highly annoying.
I am in jaipur, I got installed IPTV on 25Jan09 . From the Installation day it is not working. It is displaying userid password screen when i start my TV.

I have called several times to 1500 and 2771177 they had given me a complaint no. but This is very unfortunate that no one is looking into matter.

This is abt 10 days after installation and TV is still not working.

Is this the method they work.

Please let me know the way to unsubscribe.

I m very frustrated.

I am subscriber of your mtnl broadband services for last 3 years. Earlier I was staisfy with your services, but not last one month I am not satisfy with your services. My complaint no 41601349 d 18/02/2009 is not solved till date. My Internet plan is TriB combo unlimted p. My problem is I am not getting speed 256 properly. everytime contivity breakdown.

Kindly solve my problem as early as possible.

I had booked for iptv on 9th Feb' 09. Till date I have only received a modem and no further connetivity is being done. No one answers at the helpline and leaves me with no option. Order Booking number is '2315'. Please can someone look into this and get this connected.

If you do not want to give a connection pelase inform me, I will look for otehr options then.

On the launch of IPTV in 2007, MTNL started providing free IPTV to its customers already having MTNL broadband connections - by charging only refundable S/D.
Later IPTV was offered to one and all without even having MTNL connections for Rs. 199/-pm. (Rs. 999/- S/D) This Rs. 199/- included 149/- rental and Rs. 50/- ADSL modem rent.
The customers like me who had taken IPTV connection in the launch offer are now being asked to pay Rs. 199/- pm.
However the customers like me who are already paying Rs. 50/- for MTNL's ADSL modem and were not provided with ADSL modem by IPTV are now being charged Rs. 199/- (149/- + 50/-) This is absurd. When IPTV is providing a ADSL modem alongwith set top box and charging Rs. 199/- pm then let them provide a ADSL modem to customers like me so that I mat return the MTNL modem and save Rs. 50/- pm. Even better the accounting could be done to adjust that Rs. 50 being paid by the customer to MTNL for monthly rental of modem.
Inefficient and incompetent people make rules & policies without any logic and then dont even listen to the complaints.
IPTV services are most deplorable, to say the least. MTNL should disassociate with them immediately. I have been complaining off and on from January 2008, but it falls on deaf years. They are so callous that they have the cheek to tell that "your complaint will be fixed in next 5 days". In this day and age has anyone ever heard of living in a techno-savvy world without TV for five days. It is a shame and MTNL should compensate all the users. Today the 07th April 2009 and Iam still waiting for their technician to come over. Inefficiency is not the word for them, it is the pitts. I do hope that all the customers will get together and drag them to consumers court for redressal.

I had booked IPTV Aksh Optifibre Ltd vide booking no.[protected] on dt.24.03.09 and payment of Rs.999/- was made by cheque dt.02.04.09. As per norms, IPTV is installed with in 21 days after booking. Till date it has not been installed.
I had complained for this vides complaint no.2119 dt.18.04.09 at 15:00 through Public Grievance Cell, MTNL followed by complaint to my local company through which I had booked IPTV. I had also talked to area coordinator Mr. Gangwar at his Mob. no [protected].
This is my sincere request to you to please look in to matter why it is delayed.
Please do the needful at the earliest to avoid further delay in the installation of IPTV at my residence.

I had taken a iptv on my phone no [protected] in jaipur city. i had deposited all the payments in time four months passed but that is still not active and showing some passward enter. We had deposited four months rent also because it included in my monthly bill of telephone. we think that otherwise telephone will be disconnected we that is very importent. That is why we have deposted founr months rent without using iptv. So kindly do needfull so that we can use our iptv.

iptv — Not running from 15 days

Our IPTV is not running from 21 days. We have complaint many times but no action has been taken. Now, when we call them they say our technician will arrive soon but no technician has been arrived yet.

My I-Control connection is not running well since past 3 months and nobody at I-control is ready to solve my problem. I had booked my complaint on 27 Feb. 2009 (complaint no. is 270222) for its improper working. My connection sometimes gives me error “cant connect to server”, sometimes “waiting for signals”, sometimes asks for “Login & Password” and so many times it runs like broken / damaged signals. I was assured by the lady at call center that engineer will come to solve the problem ASAP.

It was strange that on 4th Mar 2009 when I asked Mr. Rahul at call center for engineer he replied that my complaint is not registered, when I gave him my complaint no. then he accepted it and assured me for engineer on next day. In between I did regular follow-ups and spoke to various persons at call center like Ms. Sneha, Ms. Poonam, Ms. Rashami, Mr. Rahul and asked about my complaint, gave all the details regarding complaint again and again which was irritating but my problem remained same. Many times bell rings at call center no. 126555 / 126777 /[protected] but nobody picks up the phone.

After a long duration of around 4 weeks I got angry for irresponsible behavior then they suggested me to call Ms. Aarati Engle on[protected]Ext. 286), I tried to call her for more than a week but phone ring was unanswered. Again I asked call center and got angry for faulty phone no. they provided me cell no. of Regional Manager Mr. Ritesh Garg[protected], but again it was strange that I made so many calls even SMSs but he didn’t bother to pick the phone and even didn’t reply to my SMSs. I asked so many times at MTNL’s call center regarding my problem and asked for any higher authority’s reference but every time they suggested that MTNL wont do anything in case of I-Control.

Again I started follow-ups and when they didn’t turn up then again I lodged a complaint on 1 May 2009 (complaint no. 010603), again I was assured that my problem will be solved in next 2 days. Next day I got a call from engineer Mr. Lalit through his mobile no.[protected], he asked my address and assured me that he’s coming today to solve the problem. Next day evening on 3 May 09 when I asked him for not coming he replied that he’d sent a boy but when I told him that nobody had come, he assured me that tomorrow he’ll attend. Next day evening on 4 May 09 when I asked him he replied me that “your complaint is not registered with I-Control and I have to register complaint again”. You will surprise that I am unattended till today 16 May 2009 and still facing problem with my connection.

Its worst service provider I have experienced ever.

I booked a connection for IPTV with MTNL & they gave me a request no.46900049.
Later when I inquired they told me I should have made the booking with Aksh Not with them??
(I think they should have told me that at the time of taking booking .. anyways)
Then I made a booking with Aksh and the booking no. [protected] Dt.9th May 2009.
Today is 22th June 2009 but till now IPTV is NOT INSTALLED inspite of my repeated complaints on 10th june then 16th june and 22june i.e today!
Each time I say I want to get it disconnected the plead and say within 48hrs it will be installed but NO SHOW!!!

I Had read other people's comments before getting IPTV installed but i thought it might be a few unlucky ones...and i thought MTNL has really improved but NO RESULTS!
I must say that Their Broadband & Landline Telphone services are far much satisfactory and reasonable if you campare with Airtel and other pvt. players who charge a lot more for somewhat better services.

But as far as IPTV is Convcerned the Whole Experience Starting from begining is too bad.
1. The MTNL website Sucks, They shoul just checkout Airtel or Tatasky's Website they are far more appealing.

2, I only have time at nights and wanted to make a booking at midnight but MTNL website didn't take any request by BLOG/EMAIL so i had to wait for next day to make a booking after holding on line more 3-4mins on other hand AIRTEL took booking online and i got a call the very first thing in the morning the next day from them!!

3. Aksh has no responsibility has they pass it on MTNL and vice versa.
Everytime you make a complaint with AKSH they say the problem is with MTNL line not with them.

4. The best part is that they TAKE BOOKINGS ON PHONE & NOT CANCELLATIONS.
You can enter the Rat trap but not exit it, easily!!
I got my iptv disconnected in June'2009 due to poor service . Till date no person has turned up to collect the S.T.B.box neither the helpline numbers are working. Someone please advise how to get the refund
This company is a . I am using MTNL since 15 years and I may go for legal case against them.
