Idea Cellular — Connection not activated
Dear Sir:I want to place a complaint against Green World, (Indra Park, Near Tilak Pull, Uttam nagar, New Delhi-59), an agent of IDEA CARE. I was using a prepaid number which is [protected], in June 1st week I got a call from Green World (Person Name- Ms. Shweta- [protected]) offering a deal to change my prepaid connection into postpaid. I accepted that offer and they sent a persona named Mr. Hemraj- [protected] to collect documents and their service charges. I gave him all my documents and An amount of Rs. 500/-. At the same time he handed over me a postpaid sim card with the same number-[protected] having SIM CARD NO-[protected]. He assured me that with in 3 working days my no will be activated.
But after pursuing continuously nothing had been done from their side. My prepaid connection already had been off. And new connection (postpaid didn’t started). I started to face problem due to switched off of my number. On 16.06.10 they respond that they will solve my problem with in next 3working days. But this time also noting had been done. Then on 19.06.10 they send Mr. hemraj again by saying that may be there is a problem with sim card they will check it and will replace of solve the problem, so I gave them back the new SIM CARD (Postpaid sim). But after that neither they solve my problem instead they stop responding. And till date I m continiously trying but some contact nos of there are going switched off and some are not picking few nos are- [protected], [protected] (Mr. Kalicharan) , [protected] (Ms. Shweta) and [protected] (Mr. Hemraj).
I am being harassed by them, and bearing so much loss in my profession.
Please help me out.
Keenly wait for your suggestion or action.
Idea — Postpaid connection not activated
Idea Agent approached to me for new idea postpaid connection.and i paid 500/- cash in favor of Idea. but its two week over there is no response for my connection.i tried to connect with customer care several times we didn't get any info. for the same.
in cash receipt its clearly indicated that Sim will be activated with in 48 hrs. but still no process is done.
please take necessary action for my problem.

Idea Cellular Ltd. — Postpaid connection
I am using [protected] cell number for last almost five years. With intention to switch over to Post paid connection I submitted required documents with a cheque od Rs.200/-.Due to some unavoidable reasons the deal could not met. The company (Idea) wants me to get this refund in shape of credit in my pre paid connection. Company says any deposit can not be refunded by cash or cheque.
The money paid for the purpose has not materlise how can they force me to continue with prepaid connection. How can they deposit my cheque untill all formalities completed?. Even they have not bothered to return my documents.
Idea — CONNECTION NOT ACTIVATED
Dear Sir,I was user of vodafone but i received call from Anusha ([protected]) as Idea executive to give better plan of postpaid.Afet her excetive cama at our office and collected all documnets from me please note my number was activated only one day and second day outgoing facility has been stop the reason was verification note my parents given room at rent so the verification was not hapen in clear manner, iagree but after i was given document of my flat electricity bill but that was not updated so far please note i;m very depressed my customer were using bad words about not pick up phone even customer care was not given any response yet please take strict action on them also after your feedback also going to media.the details as under,

Idea Cellular — Report Customer Care Fraud
I would like to report a fraud by IDEA customer care executives.Last week i recieved calls from your customer care suggesting i should change my plan to a 199 plan instead of my current 299 plan.
Since the plan sounded better than my current arrangement, i agreed to it. Later that evening an executive came over to hand me a new sim and he justified that if i need to move to this plan , then i need to get a new sim.
He also took identity proof and Rs 500 as deposit.
Since i did not want a change in number, I told him that I would not be interested changing my sim. He insisted that the new sim will be tranferred and i would get the same number on the new sim.
The next day ,I recd. a call from the customer service saying that my request for new number has been completed.
This is simply audacious! Since i never wanted a new number , all i wanted is a change in plan. Now , i have lost Rs 500 and have to un-necesarily take a new number ????
I request Idea to re-voke this new number and return my deposited amount as soon as possible.
And for 20 days I followed up through email and customer care executives, and absolutely no action was taken.
Then I managed to get in touch with the person who sold me the number who admitted that this was a fraud , and the number was sold to me to complete some monthly target. And yet, he wont take it back.
The email correspondence was worst, since they kept asking me to send the receipt, which I did several times through several means, and yet they kept claiming they havent recieved the attachment.
The local customer care centers claim it is out of their power to fix this issue.
Thus, I have no option but to report the matter here. Hopefully, someone from Idea can see the issue here.
I am attaching the receipt as proof with this message.
Because, all I have established over 20 days of complaining is that the staffs technical competency, proffesionalism, response time and demeanor are all extremely poor !
The way the issue is being handled(or not) by Idea is extremely unproffesional.
