[Resolved]  Idea Cellular — excessive billing on GPRS usage

I have an idea mobile no., i had activated the unlimited blackberry plan of Rs 599 in the month of December, so I thought that all my internet usage will be free without caring about the browser. So i browsed internet on Idea browser, so i got an excess bill of Rs. 1400 and a total of Rs 2940. my credit limit is Rs 2600, still i paid a total bill of Rs 2940. 19 jan, and on the same day in the morning i saw an extra unbilled amount of approx Rs7000 and they deactivated my outgoing after that on calling the call centre as to why the bill is so much they said they can’t help us or even tell us the reason of the bill amounting Rs7000. I went to their centre at tilak road, Pune, even they couldnt tell me the reason for the bill being so high and told to wait for the next billing cycle. i then went to the main office at bhandarkar road, after waiting for about an hour and a half my no. came. and they said i used their internet option i.e. i connected my phone to my laptop to use internet, which i did not, i had used an blackberry app. downloaded form the blackberry app world. a friend again on 26 jan went to them with a letter that i wasn't informed of any extra charges while activating the service nor have they written anything on the form while activating the blackberry even at that time my friend took about 3 hours at the centre. and no one was ready to help us they showed us a mail and said the rules are on the website.( I couldn’t find anything on the website and even the website hasn’t been updated). my billing cycle is on the 5th of every month but on the 3rd of feb they even deactivated my incoming calls and activated them again on the 5th or 6th. I have had great problems with my outgoing service being banned.. firstly they should have deactivated my services before only when my bill amounted Rs.2940. they also said that credit limit is only for bill on the outgoing call not internet, then why did they deactivate my services when the bill was approx Rs7000 because it was mainly internet usage. they have harassed me a lot. wasted so many hours of mine and even being a businessman hampered my business to a great extent. i would even like to claim compensation form Idea cellular. Later i even asked services provider like airtel and aircel, they said on a plan of Rs 599, they have no more extra charges even if we connect it to the computer for internet. This is UNLIMITED internet.
I have been using the idea no. for the past 2 years, and not even a single delay in the payments in the 2 years.

Idea Cellular — Blackberry Extra Charges

I am Gaurav KArve and my mobile number is [protected] and I had opted for Idea Blackberry Rs. 599/- unlimited plan but when i received my first bill there was a charge of Rs936.32 of GPRS on my account. When checked with them they said that it was my fault that i had used the WAP browser. Now the WAP browser that is provided in BB phones is hidden and the only WAP settings are from IDEA FRESH. The BB settings on my phone were checked by their BB reps and i was informed that the settings were proper. later i had a word with Asif Choudhary whom i conferenced with their BB tech and he said that the settings were not proper and he helped me with some more settings. I also received a call from their BB rep named Vimal who on checking with there team informed me that I can disable the IMIS and the feature o[censored]sing the phone as a modem. Now that i have placed this request there is no response from their team.

Adding to this their payment that i had made (which i had agreed for) was not reflecting in their details.
