ABHISHEKH BACHAN MUST STOP DOING ADS TO THEM--SAYING GET IDEA. THE NUMEBR PORTABILITY WILL CHANGE EXISTING CUSTOMERS TOO AIRTEL AS THEIR CUSTOMER CARES .............CUSTOMERS........WORST EXPERIENCE WITH IDEA CELLULAR

idea cellulars ltd. the worst company — WORST SERVICES OF IDEA

I am using three connections of idea cellular and my mobile no’s are [protected], [protected] and [protected] and their account no’s are 4.2463.00.00.100000, 3.630.00.00.

There is a very major problem regarding poor connectivity of network of Idea Cellular. Idea network used to disappear every time in the sub ways and basements and even in side the rooms with open windows and other openings or closed areas. This is a really a genuine major problem for everybody who is using idea connections.

I am facing this network from November, 2007 onwards. In this connection I have contacted the idea management and they have given me only assurances to sort out the problem in short period of time. In the month of February idea management have sent a network team to find out the fault and they have mentioned in their report that there was a severe problem of network and they have assured me that a booster will be installed within a week’s time to sort out the problem. Installation of booster will rectifying the fault and providing undisturbed and efficient service. I have also contacted Mr. Ravinder and Mr Amit Bhogal, manager sales of idea to arrange installation of booster assured at my residence. Both of them have promised me to solve the problem. BUT more than five months have elapsed but the problem remains unsolved. My problem is going from customer care exe to manager sales and all of them have given only assurances and wasted my time. These people are just making fool to customer. Mr. Ravinder and Mr Amit Bhogal are just damaging the image of IDEA. If a customer’s problem is not sorted by a company in more than five month than the company must be punished.

Idea Mobile (Spice) — Customer Service

This is the letter I emailed to them, I am yet to recieve a reply:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I noticed today that my GPRS had been on for some time, and realising it must have accidentally turned on, I immediately set about deactivating it, then called customer care in Bangalore to enquire as to my billing, and especially to find out for how long I was being charged for GPRS.

However, what I ended up facing was a repeated line of terrible customer service. Not one customer representative answered my questions. So, I then asked about how I can keep track of my billing (so that these sort of mistakes don't happen in future), and was told the only way is by calling them (is this true? If so, it is highly inadequate), but the problem is, when I ask the customer care representatives questions on my billing, they don't take the time to actually LISTEN to the question, and end up answering something else entirely that has nothing to do with my question. I then asked to speak to a supervisor, because the issue of my GPRS and billing still remained, I was put on hold, then the phone cut. I called two more times, and again I was put on hold and the phone cut.

I called again, and spoke to a Customer Rep called Nataraj who was not only rude, but told me bluntly that the Supervisors are busy and I should call back in 15 minutes. He did not care that I had already called 3 times. He then, with sheer audacity, put me on hold as a response to my protests!

If this is the state of Idea's customer service why would I call them to find out my billing details? Furthermore, why would I want to speak to them, and why would I remain a customer of such a company? Why have the customer service reps not been taught to listen to what the customer is actually asking before responding?

At the end of the entire ordeal, I still do not know for how many days my GPRS has been active (as I have not been using it at all this month), nor how much of my account credit it has used up. When I clearly asked this question, no Rep actually answered it. And to put icing on the cake, each one of them avoiding putting me through to a supervisor (or perhaps the supervisors themselves are lazy to answer the phone? Who knows). I would like this issue rectified.

As a customer I believe I have full rights to keep track of my billing details without having to go through the ordeal of speaking to rude so-called "customer care" reps.

I am so hurt and offended by what transpired that if there is no resolution here, I will most certainly note my complaints with several online Indian Consumer Complaints departments. Please rectify.

I would still like to know:

1. How much of my GPRS was used up this month?
2. Is there some other way (asside from calling up and speaking to rude people) for me to keep track of my billing - such as online?
3. Are you going to take steps to disipline employees such as Nataraj?

IDEA Cellular Services — Worst Customer Care Experienced

Dear All
Herewith following with a mail that i have sent to the company describing all the things that i have faced till date on a short period pertaining to this service provider , still i am being dragged upon ..
Kindly suggest if any new ideas so that these problems are not being faced or taken in right way cos i did what i was feeling was the right thing to do but they still are the same what ever you do , hard or cool they have just one thing in mind they have to finish one call and abort ......

Dear Sir / Madam

This is to bring to your notice the grievence that i am feeling having been a customer for the past 3 and more years also i am not having the faith now above the company standards . I have been pulled along like this for so many issues lately but i am also going along with the same only for the reason of loyalty and a ray of hope that soem day i might hit the same customer service standard that i am asking for.
To start with
1 Griev : My offer recharge was wrongly informed to me , " About the 49/- sms pack" and i was given different offer of night calls pack.
2 Griev : my number was disconnected without any prior intimation,
and while connecting to CC i was informed that my validity is over wheras i remember having done a heavy recharge before a year and got the
validity extended till 2011 , still i took it and then
3 Griev : my incoming was also barred the very next day only which again on calling CC i was informed that my plan no more and it needs to be changed so
i have to go for a recharge as per plan change , well i even took it .
4 Griev : My old balance amount was not reflecting even after the offer change and recharge, nor the offer of 49/-was given which was again a big problem by
itself , i took that too in good terms.
5 Griev : I was asked to send the WAP activation message twice which on doing also after even 3 days till now i have not even got the confirmation msg also ,
neither the settings in received .
6 Griev : I had called customer care to tell this matter day before yesterday and i was put on hold continuously and also my call was disconnected purposely i
was very kind to the executive on call , but then after the disconnection i was not able to connect to the customer care for the whole day i was on
IVR of " We are not able to connect you to the customer care , kindly try after 24 hours" .
7 Griev : Finally after managing to regiser a complaint on 20/09/09 wherein i spoke to some technical team person and got the confirmation that i will get a call
from your service advisor by 22/09/09 which i did not
8 Griev : All together i called up again to the customer care and now one more of your executive is saying rather informing me that his system is showing the
dates as 23/09/09 where as the message sent to me earlier is wrong , and he is right !!!!!

Totally i am expecting something fast and better in terms of customer service ,I am sure that there are very few of customers who will take their effort to mail you all like i did , if this mail is taken in right way its customer feedback else its all SCRAP !! for you and total time waste for ME.

EXPECTING BETTER SERVICE STANDARDS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! & SOLUTION FOR MY PROBLEMS PLZ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DEAR SIR. I HAD BEEN THE IDEA'S OLD CUSTOMER. I M NOT HAPPY WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE PROVIDED BY THE IDEA. COUPLE OF SMS SERVICES I.E. JOKE PACK AND M2W VIRGO, R ACTIVATED ON MY MOBILE WITH OUT MY PERMISSION AND I M BEING CHARGE DAILY FOR THEM. I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE MANY TIME AND THEY ALWAYS GIVE ME SOME DATE THAT BY THAT DATE THE SERVICES WILL STOPED. BUT THE SERVICES R STILL CONTINUED. I M REALLY FEDUP WITH THIS. NOW I THINK I HAVE TO GO TO COURT AS I HAVE BEEN CHARGED 1000'S OF RUPEES.

my name is kevin lewis my phone no is [protected]. Day one when i called the advisor from the customer service even declined to tell me his name, he was rude on the phone. Day two when i called your advisor gave me wrong information about my recharge which was then escalated to the manager Mr royson fernandes. Day three when i called the advisor said according to the terms and policies of the company he is not allowed to give his full name and was rude on the call, this was escalated by Mr pillai the Team leader. Day four i called i was being charged wrongly for the messages i was sending and i had already escalated that i am facing network issues which is not yet resloved. Spoke to Mr royson fernandes he had promised a call back within 48 hours and not to recharge my phone its more than 48 hours now and i have not recharged the phone, there is no courtesy call been given as well to update my issue which i call it bad service.

idea mobiles — Midnight call soliciting business

I have received a call solicing business from me at 00.27 hrs (Midnight) today i.e. on 08/7/2010, on my Mobile No.91-[protected]. I was terrified to hear a call from at this unearthly hour. Whgen I reached for my phone it turned out to be a call soliciting business. The calling No. is[protected]. I request you to take stern action against this caller. I also request you to put my No. on out of bounds or NO calling Register.
I do not want to have any unsolicited calls from any source whatsoever.

I also request you to inform me of the action taken against this caller who called me at midnight from 91-[protected], disturbing my sleep as well as my peace of mind. I could not sleep again because of the temerity of the caller.

idea mobiles — Illegitimate GPRS Charges

I did not activate GPRS in my mobile and I am surprised to find the Rs. 412. 50 charged to my account for the billing period 23 Oct 2010 to 22 Nov 2010.

My total bill charges is Rs.814 this month. Every month I used to receive bill charges of around Rs. 300 only, but this time its huge.

My point is:

1. I never activated GPRS settings in my mobile
2. I never called Customer Care to check for GPRS plans or rentals
3. I don't believe that when a Idea SIM card is purchased, free GPRS rental plans are provided that will be billed on usage. If so, I was not informed of any such free GPRS rental plan that was available with my SIM card
4. If such free plan was available from the day I purchased the SIM card, then I should have known/used it from the first month, but I didnt do so.
5. And suddenly they charge me for GPRS usage for Rs.410
(1) I am alok kumar manish i purchase one idea sim but after one year custmer care call me
(2) you resummet all document OK
(3) i resummet all document but number not transfer me my name.

Dear Sir. I am happy to have idea connection but last 2 to 3month i am facing problem of bal. deduction and congestion of network in Mankoli area in Bhiwandi. Since a month by activation of any vas services without info. bal. being deducted. I already given request of DND than i am not recieving benefit of it. I spoke to your excutive registered request and complaint for the same. So plz check my no.[protected] and deactivate all services and solve network issue ASAP.

I had lost my Mobile in One Ancient and I went to idea shown which is in perambur and parrys and i told the details and i got the duplicate idea simcard and yet it not activate and i went to many days to that show room they is no proper respone.

So, I need what is the matter why yet My Idea Sim was not activate and for my reference i am giving my another number [protected].

Idea Cellular — Worst Experience

Hi, I've recently taken up an Idea card with lot of positive expectation (after the seeing those recent ads.). However, was completely shocked at the kind of services that is being offered. Caller tunes and Cricket updates are just thrown at you without any prior notices and you are being charged for it without any intimation, worst of all is the customer service where no one picks up the call and u r being charged for listening to the boring IVR. Hence, I strongly feel and would say "Even if you dont have any idea, never get IDEA, the worst service provider in India". Regards, Dibyendu
guys its better not to have an idea... their customer care is horrendous, they will continuously ring you up if your postpaid bill exceeds Rs 300 also, even if you pay your bills regularly. and worst is that they will give you a time frame of 2 days, but they will bar your outgoing in 2 hours...what they dont understand is today the customer has options, and if they are such ridiculous vendors they they should never get any customers...God knows how Abhi got the idea

You have judged very correct, Idea customer care is one of the worst team and managed by the careless persons. I can provide evidence in this regard to Idea authority if they want to take corrective action to develop their business. Here I will comment for the MTS who is providing excellent support to their customers at site and door steps. only they are having costly plans.

I had listent that idea is provided very good service but it totally false yesterday i had taken a new sim
and so far i have talked to cutomer cares about six time but after all the unable send me setting for

Idea customer care is very veryyyy worst. The representitives does not know how to talk with customer and seniour representitives who is also talk like a uneducated personal and behaved just like a frustrated person.

On 30/09/11 we have given no. [protected] for portability from airtel to Idea. Person from GV Communication Vikas puri took the paper. Phone started on 08/10/2011 and goes off on 14/10/2011. On enquiring from custmor care, they said some papers are missing you go to idea shop and submit the papers. we went to idea shop (sec 26 noida) on 15/10/2011 for paper submission. they said we cannot do any thing the GV communications will do this but they are not doing anything. We are helpless and losing for non working of phone

You are requested to please check the same and confirm what to do
