IN SPITE OF REPEATED REMINDERS, the refund of my IT return for assessment yr 2008-09 for an amount of Rs 32000/- approx, which normally should have been refunded to me by jan 2009 has not been refunded so far.

I have not received my IT return refund that I had filed for the year[protected] yet.

I really wonder if this works... We are in India and if this could have been done online, our country would have moved to the next age. When I asked to get the Refund of FY2008-09, they say they are unable to get my file out of their records. Amazing huh... I am in the much needy person right now because I am a B School Student and my father is retired now. I was the bread butter earner for my family. I am destined to carve India's future... a guy sitting in top notch B School, studying hard to get businesses growing... and hence FIIs to drop their money over here. But right now, as we can see, I am struggling hard to get MY OWN EARNED MONEY.

I'll be following this link of consumer complaints. If anybody from ITD read it... do reply

Income tax refund for the year 2007-08

Hi,

I have received the refunds for[protected] through cheque with valid date on it 24/NOV/2008. As the valid date is now exceeded what is the procedure to get a new cheque or get the money refunded.
Please guide me on this.
