[Resolved]  Indane Gas — cylinder leakage

Sir,

My consumer no. is 21589. I tried connecting the cylinder last supplied by you. But I can hear the noise of gas leaking from the nozzle. I immediately disconnected and closed the cylinder with the lid. If I try to connect the regulator, the noise comes again.
I have been trying your No.24802288 and 24849499 for the last 20 min, but always I get the message "The Bfone no. u have dialled is busy. try later". The same thing happens whenever we try to book the cylinder. If by any chance the ring goes, the call is never responded. I wonder how can both the lines be busy throughout the day. That too in case of such EMERGENCY like LEAKAGE OF GAS also we are not able to reach you.

I request you to send the mechanic IMMEDIATELY to solve this problem. MY mobile no. is [protected].

sir,
today morning while cooking breakfast at 6.45 am (29/10/07) i had changed my refilled clyinder and started cookimg.after 5 min i heard some hissing sound comming . i switched off the flame and again installed the new refilled clyinder. i found that gas was leaking. i immeditely called on eergency nos. 27801123, where i was informed tht my area does not come under his jurdistion. i caled 24576261 , they noted down my address and other complaint details and asked mre to refer the same to my indane dist. mukund enterprises tel no. 27562264,27566342. i contacted them at 9.00 am. but am sorry to state that till writng of this complaint 12.07 pm no technician has come to check the clyinder or the cause of leakage.

then why all such emergency nos. when they cannot attend a gas leakage complaint in 5 hrs, also. what can a consumer do if some thing untoward happens due to supply of faulty clyinder.???

please enlighten me reagarding the above.

today morning while cooking breakfast at 7.00 am (14/11/2007) when the cylinder exhausted , i had changed my refilled cylinder. when i opened the seal i heard some hissing sound and smell of gas coming. immediately i fixed on the regulator but i found the symptoms of leakage continuing. i immediately tried to contact the emergency nos. but for three hours i could not get the connection always engaged. finally i contacted the gas agency jaykay gas, habsiguda at around 10.am and complained about leakage, requested to send authorised person immediately. they responded that within 30 minutes complaint will be attended to. but so far till writing this complaint 5pm no technician has come to check the cylinder.
it is very sad. they claim that any complaint of gas leakage will be attended immediately but when it comes to action nothing is done . what i am suppose to do ? what can a consumer do if something untoward happens due to supply of faulty cylinder ?
pl. guide me in this regard.

This is to inform you that we have been getting leakaged cylinders twice in the last 3 months. Last time, it was ensured that this will not be repeated again but my worry is that it can be the root cause of any big accident if no action will be taken to ensure that this does not happen again.

I am awaiting for an immediate attention to replace the leakaged cylinder to avoid any accident to occur at my house number 69, Sector 30, Faridabad - 121003. I have already informed Mr. Chauhan ([protected]) in the morning about the same.

I was given a refilled gas Cylinder 2 days late, which leaks when a regulator is fited on it, I have tried with another Regulator but the same problem exists.
My gas distributor is never available on Phone his lines are busy through out working hours non stop. I have been trying to call him from the last three days but could not get to him to register the Gas leak complaint. Try out these number your self,[protected],[protected]

I would like some one to take a note of this problem, else consumer court looks like the only resort for me.

Also, Cylinders are not delivered on time committed by this agency, I would rate the services by agency at 2 out of 10 due to the following reasons:
1. They are not at all planned /foresited about mainting stocks just after any state or national holidays,
2. For every thing we have to go the agency,
3. Cylinder deliveries are not done timely,
4. No second cylinders are being given so that we can have back ups when we run out of Gas.

Dear Sir,

We have recd. a cylinder before a month & yesterday we have replaced that cylinder with empty cylinder. After reconnection within 10 minutes we have noted there is some smell was there when we were passing near by area. Then we have checked that cylinder by removing regulator & dropping water, there was a leakage from Nozzle of cylinder.

It is my request that please give me a contact no. for leakage complaint at Baroda, who can attend immediately.

I am a customer of your (Indane) gas agency of Vellangallur Region m/s. Trinity Agencies. A/c. No.1095.
I have a complaint against this agency because our new gas cylinder is now leaking at the time of changing
cylinder in that time my mother is alone in my house the time around 4.30 P.M.she called to the above agency but there response is very bad.
They told she to we have no chance to change the cylinder in the same, We will do only in tommarrow. What a rubbish answer. Why they
are telling this type of nonsense.How many days wait for getting new cylinder/ refill.
Please do neccessary action against this problem.

We had identified a gas leak in our cylinder and lodged a compliant with Padma Gas Agency (consumer no 22565) the agency has sent their mechanic twice but to no avail. the problem still exists infact it has worsend. please take immediate action to prevent any fatal calamity.

Hello Sir/Mam,

My name is Balaji and my Customer # is 18629. I have taken main and additional connection in Sabha indane gas agency, 51 Cart Track Road, Maduvankarai, Guindy chennail 32. Ph#: 22446270, 22446271, 22553363. Recently i booked for addtional cylinder refilling on 10/08/09 as well as i have given the complaint for the cylinder leakage. They sent one mechanic on 11/08/09 and he came and did something on the mouth of the cylinder and he said here after no problem will arise. But on the next day the same problem started and also i called the agency and given the complaint and also i asked them to check and replace the cylinder, since it happened next time. But nobody bothered about the issue what is happening. When ever i call they are telling today will send but nobody has come till and also they are disconnecting the line, when i was talking to them. Kindly look at this issue and do the needful before anything happen and kindly advise the agency people to behave properly to the customer(Not rude).

Gas Leakages — cooking gas leakage to other cylinder

hi sir i have gave you the complaint to rainbow gas service sec-28 huda market delivery boy mr. sunder sharma has leakage the gas to other cylinder at home then they gave him the cylinder to the customer.The customer is say to that boy the use the abuse langaguage to the lady customer.so kindly take action to this boy

Indane Gas — Cylinder leakage

dear sir,

i received a cylinder on 5/08/2011 than i check the cylinder on 7/8/2011, the cylinder was leaked from the neck of cylinder. i contact the agency (bayana gas service ) but phone was no reply. than i complaint on 8/8/2011, agency holder said, i have no cylinder in my stock, you bring the cylinder at my office. and my worker repair.
plz do something needful, this is very harmful .
