[Resolved]  Indane LPG Gas Cylinder — Regarding heavily leaking cylinder and Rude behaviour of local staff

Dear Sir/Madame,
I hereby want to draw your attention towards the inconvenience and misbehave done by the local staff of Indane Gas agency of lalitpur (U.P) which is owned By Mr.Dushyant Badoniya of Mehroni.

Sir i am the consumer of LPG in lalitpur with consumer No 4393 on the name of my father J.P.Goswmi.

Sir,the supply of LPG gas is quiet irregular they book the No.after 21 days of previous delivery and delivers the gas after 15 days of booking date.

Sir as i Have visited gas godown for LPG gas cylinder delivery i have provided the seal pack gas cylinder on dated 12-sep-2009 on the basis of booking No.4959.As the seal can be considered as the mark of security but as i have reached my home i noticed that the Gas was leaking heavily from the cylinder.I immediately called the agency office but the office as well as the godown (where there is no permanent phone number)didnt picked my phone.

As I personnally visited the godown with cylinder to replace it(on dated 13-sep-09)they said that they will charge the leaked gas but as i have recieved the sealed gas cylinder so how can I be responsible for the leakage of the gas.

The most Dissapponting matter of this Scenario is that I have still waiting to replace the cylinder and i have kept in my home at my own risk.The agency employee said that they will replace the cylinder after weighing it but they didnt do the same on delivering the cylinder and in addition they also abused and misbehaved with me.

Sir at the time of such Hypercompetitive and customer oriented environment how can the company afford such an unprofessional and inhuman behaviour of the employees.
They also insisted me to approach the Consumer Forum but I have decided to take this matter infront of you.

Indane Gas — Rude behaviour and non-delivery of gas cylinders

It is submitted that M/s. Bakson GAs Service situated at Jhandewalan is not providing gas cylinders on time. The customers have to request many times telephonically and personally visit the gas agency for booking of their cylinders and always they say - they will send, but the gas cylinder is not sent to the customer. I have booked my gas on 9th January, 2008 and had requested for urgent delivery. But till today the gas cylinder has not been supplied so far despite several requests. I am holder of consumer No. 23925 with Bakson Gas. Further it is also stated that several times the gas agency officials have been told that I will make a complaint with Indian Oil but they are not afraid of any complaint. It is requested that suitable action as deemed fit may please be taken against the gas agency and also the gas agency may also be checked frequently by the Indian Oil to avoid further inconvenience to the consumers of Indane GAs

I have booked the cylinder via customer no. 147, in the of my father name Mr. B.L Godiyal, from Sondhi Gas Agency, J-Block Market, Saket, New Delhi-110017. But till date we are unable to get the cylinder. The dealer are telling that they have already supplied the cylinder. My last booked was 02-04-08. I have requested them that as this connection is single cylinder, kindly deliver the same as priority basis. But they are refusing the same. Apart from this the delivery boy named 'Naval' his contact nr. is [protected], is continiousely saying that he went to my home and my home was absolutely closed, whereas I never kept my home closed, because my parents live with me and they never close the home. Today 11.04.2008, when i did a call to Agency one guy and a madam said to me that your cylinder has already been delivered at your home and they also said me that they will confirm this by sending their a person to my home after that i made a call to delivery boy 'Naval' he said me he has delivered the cylinder at another address after my neighbour request at Block-E in the same Ambedkar Nagar Sec-5, but the reality is that i do not know how he can do so, without asking my family person atleast he should make a call before doing so. The delivery boy Naval, also described the location of my home which was absolutely wrong, he told me, I have a sigle roof house whereas I have a house with four floors, now reality is that he never went my home.
Now would i request you to please take an action against such people who are misguiding the customer by taking so my time in such stupid activity, we are in private job and don't have the much time for follow up, in this time course i have made calls to agency around 20-25 times, you can also check the MTNL data base.
You are requested kindly clarify why this type of behaviour is showing by Indane dealer/delivery boy only ? Why you are not taking any action towards the dealers ?

LPG — rude bahavior of indane staff

I am a customer of Indane for the last 30 years .
I wanted to get my connection transferred from NOIDA to Indirupuram ( Ghaziabad ) where I am staying at present .
On 08/05/08 I telephoned Yadu Gas Service of Shahibabad at 1 pm to know about the working hours.
A lady replied that it was from 10 am to 4 pm.
Dissatisfied, I talked to the owner of the agency who confirmed me that it was up to 5 pm
I informed the lady over telephone and told her that I would reach there within the scheduled time
I took leave from my office and reached the shop at 4-40 pm.
I showed the transfer voucher to a lady who was dealing with transfer case who. asked me to show a proof of residence.
As I was not aware of such a requirement, I excused myself and searched for it from my DL/PAN card.
But as luck would have it, both had the old address.
Then I asked whether it was a recent development to take the residence proof because a letter from the employer Bank regarding transfer to a different state sufficed earlier
Hearing that she became furious and shouted in her highest pitch saying that it was not her home rule ( yeh mere ghar ka niyam nahin hai ) but that of Indane .
At this I asked her why she was shouting so much as I wanted a clarification regarding change of rule, if any.
Instead of calming down, she continued in the same tone that I had been irritating her for the last 10 minutes.
I was stunned by her callousness and rude behavior and pushed the chair aside and walked away.
Sir, is this the way to treat a customer?
Leave aside offering a glass of water to a woman of her mother’s age who drove 12 kms in the sultry Delhi afternoon, she even lacks the basic qualities a woman should have .
How does Indane recruit such personnel to provide customer service who even lack the basic etiquettes?

Indane Gas — Gas Cylinder delivery in leaking condition

Dear Sir,
One gas cilinder has been delivered in my house at about 2:30PM after some time we found it is leaking and smell is comming. Tried to inform my dealer SWATI INDANE GAS SERVICE, 240 B T Road, Kolkata - 700036, Ph[protected] / 1745 but failed. I inform my son in his office. Atlast at about 5:00PM it was informed and their person came at about 5:45PM and he made a paste of soap and mud and put it on the leaking hole. He also informed us that the leaking cilinder has to be carried us to the dealer's place with the originl customer.
Now my question is this Is this you service ? This is the safety we will be receiving from you ?

Indane LPG Gas Cylinder — LATE SUPPLY & NO RESPONSE

We have our LPG connection through Anuj agency -Fathegunj Vadodara.

We have booked the cylinder since 11th september but till date no supply has been recieved . It is our festival time and the usage around this time is bit higher & tomorrow will be IDD.
Inspite of several reminders they are not responding neither picking up phones. Last week they said that as per govt rule thereis a compulsary checking of gas stove, on checking we had to get the stove repaired paying 800 rs for the charges.We were told after the stove is repaired we will get the refill cyclinder but till date no response from the agency. Pl help

Indane LPG — Defective leak cylinder

My consumer no is 49542. Cylinder supplied by M/s Rose Gas Agency of Adambakkam is leaking heavily for the past 10 days. Every effort of mine to get it replaced turned in to vain. Until now it is leaking in our kitchen.

Indane LPG Gas Cylinder — Difficulty in booking

We face severe problems in booking our cylinder as we are normally not able to contact any of their numbers. Either the phones are ringing or busy. 24 hour booking no. as well as the helpline nos. are also not responding. This problem is existing for the last one year.

Despite repeated complaints the agency is not improving its service. Even after booking the cylinder we have visit them to remind them about the delivery.

Dear sir,
I am having a Indane gas connection for a long time at KTS agencies, Dr Radhakrishnan Road, Chennai.
My connection number is 16678.In the past six months we noticed there was gas leakage from the regulator.We checked and found; the rubber seal inside the mouth of the new cylinder(which was supplied by KTS agencies) was missing & and the gas was leaking through the regulatorBut due to gods grace nothing went wrong.This problem we faced now was fourth time.The problem was informed to KTS agencies & the response was very poor.
We are not expecting these type poor service from Indane.
Expecting a proper inspection of cylinders during filling & proper service from supplying agencies.

LPG — cylender without seal and LPG short in cylender

Sir,
I m the custome of Indane from a long time ,my connection no. is S-7019 with M/s Subh Gas Service, so maney times the delevery man supply broben seal cylender,and the LPG contain that cylender aproximate 10 kg , i complant this to the suppler M/s Subh Gas Service ,88 B Jawala Heri Market ,Paschim Vihar, NEW DELHI_110063 Ph. 25263420, 25278502, they assure me now we will supply the sealed cylender, but this time they have again try to delever broken seal cylender , the delever man says i have four cylender u can chouse the cylender ,when i see the seal of all four cylenders were broken, i told him , i want a sealed cylender u may suppy later the same, this has done on 29.08.2009 but still they have not supply the gas ,they says we dont have sealed cylender ,and advice ,if i want sealed cylender ,go to the godown and take sealed cylender from there . You are requested to kindly do the naadfull to suuly the sealed cylender and also ensure the delevery in time.

Indane Gas — leakage in cylinder and non replacement

I have received a gas cylinder from M/s D.P.Thakore & Co. my consumer number is 5059 and this cylinder is leaking, I tried to make complaints but invain and at last yesterday i clicked the number and a man visited from the company and said that the cylinder shall be replaced. Now a delivery man came to my house and when inspected the cylinder he stated that the safety pin was not put in the cylinder and the gas has leaked and now only 3-4 kg gas is available in the cylinder and hence talk to the Gas agency dealer and went without replacing the cylinder. Now the leaked cylinder is still lying in the house. Is this the service from Indane.
