[Resolved]  India Post — Letters are not delivered

Our family relocated within Bangalore from Banashankari to Ramamoorthy Nagar. Neighbors informed that we are suppose to provide request letter to Nearest POST OFFICE (???!!!) to get our post delivered. If it was newly constructed house, then it is reasonable but this was an old house some other people stayed for quite some years and change in address is only the name of person & house name – Rest all remain same.
This activity seems to so weird, as we have frequently transferred to many cities and states and never did with any post offices even with the one with Banashankari, Bangalore address.

Still we visited the nearest Head Post Office and gave the request letter. But, even after the submission of request letter around couple of letter are returned back the senders.

Totally frustrated with the negligence and got vexed with irresponsible, inhumanity act of the Postal Department personnel’s at RamaMoorthy Nagar Head Post Office.

I am a student and I have compleated my graduation and now a days I am doing MBA program from smu. and also do a job also so I have no time to complaint to the head office directly. The post man cannot send the letters to our home. He can send the all letters to a stationary shop and go away and these posts cannot receive to the people and me also so much of the posts are missing which was very important I have also submit so many job application form to many department which advertise the jobs(goverment jobs) but I cannot receive the posts.One post I can receive which was come from chennai(ordinance depot) which was received me before 2 days of its written test from a person of my area. This letter cannot receive me directly from post man.please take action against the post man service in my village(baprola)post office - najafgarh new delhi - 43
I am resident of wings apartment sector - 9 Gurgaon from the last one and half year. After shifting from
sector 4 gurgaon here in sector 9 gurgaon, i am very dissatisfied with the services of postman of this area. I hardly receive 30% letters . Till now, i have received only four telephone bills in the complete year. Rakhi sent to me ten days in advance has not reached me till date. Due date notices/reminders sent by LIC of India have never been able to reach me. Same is the problem with our neighbouring flat owners.
I am a resident of Sub post office Kuttikol, Main Post Office Taliparamba 670141. On learning from RTO office that a speedpost article meant for delivery to my home was handed over to the Main Post Office Taliparamba 670141 on 8th September 2009, I decided to investigate the matter today 15th September 2009. On my visit to Kuttikol Sub post office they assured me no speedpost article meant for my address, during the period was returned to main post office. At the main post office I learned that around 2000 speedpost articles are awaiting processing as on 15th September, some of these articles were as old as 8th September 2009. Individual Speedpost Customers are never turned back. The article they bring in are processed the very same day. But the large nos of Speedpost articles brought in by Government Offices, Banks, Educational Institutions etc meant to be delivered to the general public are kept aside for processing on first come first served basis up to, in my case 7 days without processing. I paid in advance Rs 25/- self addressed speedpost service that is waiting for my turn for speedpost service for the past 7 days. When I spoke to the Postmaster he said the speedpost article meant for me can not be treated differently and I will receive the article through the sub post office the day after the main post office processed it.
My hats off to Taliparamba Post office for their innovative way to solve their inefficiancy without compramising on efficiancy of INDIA SPEEDPOST. Does this happen anywhere else, I wonder!
