[Resolved]  India Today Book Club — Non Delivery of Online Purchase

On 14th April, 2010, I got one phone call from INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB with offer to purchage a Whirlpool Magicook, 25lt Convectional Microwave Oven, by paying just Rs. 7098. I have paid the same via credit card when transfered the call to IVR payment gateway. The payment is made successfully, and I have to wait now to receive the product in three week.

Till today, the product is not dispatch from the ITBC office. I got many call from the ITBC about not able to dispatch the item in GUJARAT, for not available surface line courier service of BLUEDART in anywhere in Gujarat??. I have contacted with BLUEDART Service, who have verygood surface line network in Gujarat. Ahmedabad as well as in my City. But dispatch person were not agree with my reply. He told that, we are going to proceed for refund. I said, "OK, Please refund. if you not able to dispatch, but just you reply the same on email, so I can sure about written confirmation of refund, and go to local market to purchase the product",

On email, what they replying is attached herewith, where they are refuse to give refund., while on phone, they are refuse to send the product.

I am interested to know the status of order as updated by you.

As per phone call recieved to me today from[protected]INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB), this product will not delivered to me, and we are going to refund the full amount, due to BLUE DART SURFACE LINE service is not available in any place of GUJARAT.

The same when I request on Email, then I am getting different answer.

As per email
"With reference to your mail we would like to inform you that as your order have been fully processed from our end it would not be possible for us to cancel your order. "

If You deliver the product then, It is good, If not delivering then proceed for refund. Don't give dual responce. Delivery department is not ready to dispatch and requesting to ask for refund. Customer Care Center not responding for delivery and denine for refund. No refund - No dispatch, WOW!

It's Ok, the reason given is absolutely wronge, but anyhow, atleast If I will get the refund after 45 Days of payment. Please confirmed me about sure of refund, so I can purchase the item from local market.

Please do not send me any offer SMS or EMAIL from INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB / BAG IT TODAY.
Also add my mobile number and email in 'DO NOT DISTURB ME' in your database.

Awaiting your immediate response about refund date.

India Today Book Club — Non delivery of my Order after 45 days of full payment.

Dear Sir,
I have never came accross an Organisation like India Today Book Club.I had booked an Order since 2nd February'2009.The amount have been debited from my Credit Card Account.But till today they have not delivered my Order.All the time thay are sending mail with excuses.The trail mail will speak.In the last trail mail they had promised that if I dont get my order within 7 days they will take necessary action.As per their mail 10 days have passed and surprisingly I had paid my money 45 days before writing to you.
Please go through the trail mail/reply of the ITBC.I hope your organisation will look in to the grievance sympathetically.

India Today Book Club — goods not delivered after 45 days of payment

Dear Sir,

Finally I have to use an external forum to ring a bell in the ears of India Today Book Club.

My membership number is ITBC0915692, under which I had placed an order by paying online on 4th May 09.

Till date, even after 45 days, I havent received the sun glasses i ordered.(order no 0GA[protected]

Repeated calls to your call centre, and your courier company followed by emails has given me nothing but false hopes and stories, ranging from dispatch details, to fictitous courier waybill numbers, to loss of package, to re-dispatch of goods.

However ITBC is not able to confirm on a time frame as to when the delivery would take place.

I request you to either deliver what I have ordered, or arrange for a refund,
Hope thats really not asking for TOO much
