THAT I HAVE WIN GIFTS FROM THEM.25 DAYS AGO
BUT STILL I HAVINT RECIVED ANYTHING YET LETS SEE
HOW ITS WORKS...
AND AM GETTING LITTERS FROM THEM.THAT YOUR ARE THE
FEW PEOPLE FROM WINERS. I DONT KNOW WHTIS THIS...

Hello All, Its all fake...I also received a box from india book club today and i need to rs.2500 toward its postage but it contains all junk books and cds.Looks like they are selling the cds and earning money in this way.

Hi All, I am an another such victim of India Today Book club which has send mails for sweeptings and with loads of promises of delivering merchandise with highly discounted Price.

I have placed an order on 29th sep based on the Mail for Reebook Shoe + Holiday package for Rs 2599/ . Deducted the money on 29th sep and promised to delivr in 2-3 weeks in writing. But after 5 weeks send a CD package for Rs 2599/.
It looks like absolutely a cheating club. we warn the customers beware of such mails from the india Today book club.

Could we consider filing a cheating complaint against them.They sent me few spiritual cds and charged Rs 2500 towards.Not sure..if the cds are worth of it.

please advise me how to provide full details you are demanding from my side. All the details with me are the same that have been provided by you in a pamphlet form.
I want to make it absolutely clear that:-

1. I ordered for the 16 CD Saaz Pack.
2. It was delivered through BlueDot Courier (Without Payment) Invoice no. ORA[protected] dtd. 07-Jul-08. against order no. oga[protected] dtd 30-Jun-08
3. I seeked guidance from your office as to the mode of payment.
4. I Sent Ch.No.604607 State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur Dtd.19.09.08 for Rs.2000/-
5. I waited for the encashment of the said cheque.
6. It was shown cleared on 26.11.2008 in my account.
7. I approached you several times on your Toll free communication number but was given no specific answer.
8. I kept waiting patiently for the said gifts but I got none.
9. Today, after a long discussion I have been told to wait for still 2 more days.
10. In this way I am being mentally tortured by your India- fame organization for no fault of mine


11. According to your offer, I demand (1) free Tupperware Lunch Box and (2) adidas Shoes (size 9)

Kindly take an immediate action at your end.Let the given limit be extended in no case.

yar me to got a VPP package on 16 dec 2008 that is only a size of a CHEMISTRY book or a laptop size...they promised me to get a gift rebok shoe 8 size, , holiday package, , air ticket...m in serendipity to accept it or not

m replyin to al thier mails since july 08...

Don't waste your money by paying them..they are just bluffing you.

I had participated in their scheme & paid Rs 2599.00 on-line. I got 20 devotional CD's. But could not claim free gifts till date.

Everytime, their call centre person at 40502424 will inform that your unique cose is not yet activated & you need to wait for 48 hours.

This type of open cheating is not expected from Indiatoday group. Also, I think, IRCTC is earning a bad name, by promoting such a useless offer. Indiatoday book club is either totally ill-propared to handle this offer (Or they have intentions to cheat people).

hi, i am vinoth, i have received a mail, stating that i have been finalist for the amount of RS.60, 000, 000 OF SWEEPTAKES . i just want to know that whether is this, announced by your company. or this is one of the fraud things.

I got email that my name is in list of potential finalist of 60 lakh, the prizes being issued by indiatoday, it should not be fake. but if the site name is copied, then it could befake. I dont find such annoucements in indiatoday book club. Pl let me know

And If False and Fake Why don't you People Take Action and If By any Chance Real then I may be by Chance Lucky Winner of the Same. Kindly Verify and Oblge.

It is really very unfortunate that "India Today" group, which has earned a brilliant image in the field of media and journalism, is followng such poor business practices and cheating innocent people.

I received a SMS in my mobile stated that "U r declared Winner for Free Gift Voucher of Rs. 3301 Reserved for u at www.bookstoday.in/win/SAIBAL or check ur email. Limited Validity!" from Book Club. After visiting the said address I saw this - "Rs 3301 off on Swatch Irony Chrono Black Watch
worth Rs 6300 for the winners only"

Can anybody tell me that there is any mysterious thing behind it or not. Is it totally fake ?

I also receive a Phone Call from the India today book club winners that u have the lucky winner for Returned Air Ticket in India & Three days, Two nights stay in five star Hotel totaly free, but i shall have to pay Rs.2700/- for 7 Dvds, that i know that is fake because payment mode only through Credit Card or Post office.It is totally fraud because they don't accept cash or draft & even not meet to them in thier office in Indra Enclave, Delhi. so i under stood that is fake. pl z sir/madam i request u to solve this problem as soon as and stop the gambling with the this robbers which is giving the wrong mails to that guys. pl z take a necessary step as soon as thanking u this from Punjab
