Sir,
I v.Somasundaram working as lecturer at mca dept in sathyabama university,old mahabalipuram road, sholinganallur, chennai.And we have a branch of indian bank in our university and i have salary account in that branch. Last one year i have not taken the print out details of transaction particulars in my pass book, regarding i went yesterday(25/08/2010, wednesday) to take prinout particulars at that time free of rush (Around 3.00pm) but the staff who was resoponse to take print outs refused to print the entire transaction and he replied we can printout only for last few months and i agreed.
But he was taking long time to print and i requested him that sir shall i come tommorrow for taking printouts? Beacasue i will miss my bus if it becomes more late . That sir replied very very harshly and with anger he had thrown of my pass book on the bench with improper response. I asked sir pl try to understand what i am coming to say , but he was no more ready to hear request and agian he shouted, and i left that place with out more interacation to catch my university bus.

Customers are requested to update their passbook then and there for quick customer service. If the Passbooks are not updated for more than 3 months, then the number of entries will accumulate and taking printout from the common Central Server will take minimum 2 min per page and 1 min to print. Sometimes if the entries (30 per page) exceeds 6 pages, the system will start to hang due to local temporary settings.

In these cases, you can the printout of last month's transaction and can apply for a statement for previous months and get the same next day.

    Hello,

    Here i am harshit mehrotra, i have applied for the post of clerical post, and exam is held on 22 August, 2010 and till i didn't get my call letter. i have called them too many times but there is no response. i visited there site to download call letter but from last two days their link is not working and it showed in morning that call letter will be downloadable after 16:00 hours on 18 of August so i wait for the time and after that time now it shows that the new time 10:00 hours on 19th August.

    I am facing so much problems due to this delay, i am not able to book my ticket for the examination. If he can't handle online registration then do it manually on their branches.

    If this complain will reach to any officer of indian bank then please help me to get my call letter.

      Dear Sir/Madam,
      This is to inform you that all the staffs in the Indian bank of Sankara Mutt branch (Near Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu) are very harsh in behaviour. When anyone ask them for anything they are very rude and show faces to all.If we go for any help regarding account opening and load details there will be no response only answer is "come later". I would like to suggest that if some officials who are incharge for these kind of public grievances can very well step into this bank without the staffs knowledge and can do the verification. If some changes happens because of some remedies we public will be grateful and also this would be a lesson for all the other staffs who behave in the same way.

      Expecting for a change when i visit the bank next time.

      why don't the indian bank also introduce a toll free cell no to send grievances of its customers, as sbi and andhra bank introduced, ex.sbi-sms'unhappy' to [protected] and andhra bank- sms 'upset' to [protected]. within one minut you will get reg.no of your complaint.within one hour the bank will call you asking your grievance/defficiency of service etc. and send their staff of the concerned branch for redrecel.
      indian bank can also introduce like this for greater service and confidence in tis customers.

        This is to bring to you kind notice that my father Mr. Mohan Reddy has pledged the land and taken loan of Rs. 214000/- against the land in the year 1998, all the original land documents has been submitted to bank manager Mr. Chayapathi . ( Documents in the Name of V Changa Reddy father of V Mohan Reddy) .The loan has been cleared in 2005 but till date bank has not returned the original documents of the land, there were frequent changes in the branch manager position, all the bank manager has been saying the same thing that it will be returned in 2 month or 3 months but till date it has not been returned and my father was sort of harassed, saying “Come will after 2 months or months. whatever you want to do you do”. And my father is around 60 yrs now and its my responsibility to get back the documents. Now we have approved the current manager, same as saying “Come will after 2 months or 3months and i got a answer that “we will give you once we get it and now we don’t have time”, . Bearing soo much of harassment finally I have decided to take the help of your goodself in getting back my land documents.

            Dear Sir/Madam,
            This is to inform you that all the staffs in the Indian bank of Maraimalainagar branch (Near Chengalpet,Chennai, Tamilnadu) are very harsh in behaviour. When anyone ask them for anything they are very rude and show faces to all. Except doing work they all do everything in the bank. And whenever I visit the bank its impossible to hear any good comments abt the bank staffs from the public. They delay in all the works.. we are made to wait for a very long time in the long queue.. and just imagine the old aged people who are hurt by the the harsh words.None of the staffs sit in their seats for more than 10 mins and not even come back to their seats that soon.
            Its really pathetic on who have account in this bank as everytime they come to the bank and go with guiltiness of why to open an account in this branch. I would like to suggest that if some officials who are incharge for these kind of public grievances can very well step into this bank without the staffs knowledge and can do the verification. If some changes happens because of some remedies we public will be grateful and also this would be a lesson for all the other staffs who behave in the same way.

            Dear Sir,

            The Indian Bank College Road Nagercoil Kanyakumari District Tamil Nadu state Branch Manager has to be transferred immediately that much amount of rude behaviour to the elderly persons and when we get into the cabin he is to talk nonsense and irresponsible way of answering to the customers. There was a huge crowd on one of the working day I went to withdraw a sum of 40k and above there was an express counter where I stand on que one customer was standing infront of me he finished his transaction after that he has started collecting money from other customers standing on the other que. I have objected and told the counter staff not to receive the money the counter staff ignored my request and finally I went inside the Managers cabin he said during rush hour this will happen and he adviced me I will have to adjust then I asked him where is the token display counter did you follow the token system no and your counter staff teller is collecting the money from a individual who has completed his transaction I asked him to come out of his cabin and to see the scenario what is happening inside the Bank he has neglected my request and started shouting on me. Because of this irresponsible Bank Managers are there your good will of the Bank will definitely goes off and we will start supporting private Banks. He is unfit for the public relation post our request is to transfer him to the state of Assam or Nagaland any eastern region then only he knows the value of the job there are lot of people who are having good education and good attitude are roaming for job this kind of Managers are damaging your Bank name and take your institution into bad light thats all we can say.

            We hope you will take necessary steps to change his attitude or else place a good person who knows the ethics how to behave with the customers

              Respected Sirs,
              I am Senthil Kumar B Son of Balasubramani K. I have completed my SSLC in 2000 with 60%. Currently I am studying a 3D Animation Course in Arena Animation, Anna Nagar, Chennai.
              I have Joined the course in April 2009. The course fee is Rs.1,54,425.00 (Rupees one lakh fifty four thousand twenty five only) inclusive of all taxes.
              After 6 months of completion (Oct '09) i have applied for a educational loan in Indian Bank, Jari Kondalampartti Branch, Salem District, Tamil Nadu.

              One month later, i have received letter from Indian Bank, stating that my loan was rejected.
              Immediately i had contacted the respective bank manager, where i have applied for the loan regarding the same.
              The manager told that the loan got rejected due to not meeting the educational qualification.

              But in the Indian bank circular regarding to giving loans to arena Animation, they have clearly mentioned that completion of SSLC with 60% is enough to get eligible for the educational loan.

              i wanted to know that, why my application got unsanctioned, when I am meeting all the educational qualification criteria.

              Please help me out to get the educational loan sanctioned.

              Indian bank- Educational loan — Not releasing the sanctioned amount

              I am currently a physiotherapy master’s student in UK. I have sanctioned an educational loan for 7. 5

              Lacks loan in Indian bank, ethiraj salai branch for my masters in abroad on august 2008 (The total cost of study for one year is around 14 lacks – Fees, 9200 GBP & living expenses – 7200 GBP). The loan was released on September 23 rd 08 for 4617 GBP. I paid my full fees prior to the sanction after confirming with the bank staff that I can re - emboss it and I submitted all my receipt in branch before leaving India. (I did this because there was a delay in releasing the loan and already I missed one week class).

              But they didn’t give me the full amount sanctioned initially, A.G.M (Mr. Padmakumar) said “”I will release the amount every 3 months you just send us a mail”. When I sent mail in December 08, again with scanned copy of my receipt, Progress letter and all the needed documents, they took nearly two month to release the amount after 5 to 7 mails and almost 10 phone calls, and of all I sent my uncle in India directly to branch to release the amount – 1459 GBP on 11th February 09.

              Now the A.G. M is telling you are not eligible for further release Of loan. Finally I mailed A.G. M directly on 24 th march 09 and there was still no reply, called the Loan officer many times but no use, when my uncle went in directly to see A.G.M, he was refused.

              How can they refuse to release the already sanctioned amount? That too they are telling after coming
              Here (UK), If they told you are not eligible I would have made some alternative. I am helpless now, due to
              Credit crunch it’s really difficult to manage here. To extend my post study visa for another two years I have to maintain 800 pounds in my account for 6 months, otherwise they will send me back to India. In this stress I couldn’t concentrate in my studies.


              I have gone through a lot and lot of trouble with that branch from the beginning (For my loan process I went directly to branch almost thrice a week for nearly 3 months- because of Mr. Ramasamy, the loan officer, he Will send me back without any cause and asks me to come next day, and finally made fun of me how did you get the visa? I have lost interest in my studies because of these people. They are the worst branch in service, I feel). No student like me should face such a bad situation and suffer in abroad in future.

              My University also interferred inbetween and provided support letters, but there is no use.I filed complaint to head office there is no proper response. They said we cant do anything if you want you have to contact AGM, inspite of telling them I already did. when I phoned him, he was just shouting in very high tone not letting me even to speak. The loan was sanctioned in Rupees, now AGM is calculating in pounds. AGM told you paid the full fees only for getting discount, after discount also they have to give me 1614.80 GBP:

              Total fees- 10000 GBP

              (A1) After 8% discount - 9200 GBP
              (A2) Living expenses - 6500 GBP

              Total: A1 + A2 = 15700 GBP


              Student Margin 51.01% = 8008.57 GBP
              Bank loan 48.99% = 7691.43 GBP

              But the loan given was:

              1st term release = 4617 GBP (Dated[protected]
              2nd term release = 1459.63 GBP (Dated[protected]
              Total loan released = 6076.63 GBP.



              (B1) AS PER BANK SANCTION 48.99% = 7691.43 GBP
              (B2) BUT RELEASED AMOUNT WAS = 6076.63 GBP

              LOAN AMOUNT DUE (B1) - (B2) = 1614.80 GBP.

              Kindly take an action as early as possible and help me by releasing the remaining amount.
              Hope atleast you will help me in getting justice.

              I am Lakshmi Narasimhan from Srirangam at Trichy.As my daughter has got admission for MBBS from Tbilisi State Medical University at Georgia So I have contacted your Indian Bank Srirangam Branch and circle office also.They simply told me to submit valuable collateral for getting the same.I don't have any collateral.I am middle class person also.Where I will go for collateral.The Indian bank told to submit my collateral or third party collateral.How third party will give their property document for me?Also they told me some stories for avoid to give education loan.The Indian government recently announced and released funds nearly 500 crores for education loans but the concern Indian bank branch managers and officers are not taking risks to sanction the same.Today also I met your Srirangam branch manager Mr.Narayanan, he simply told me to give collateral.I will also go to saudi for joining in a leading civil and construction company in next week before I want to arrange everything for my daughter.I told the concern branch manager that I will give income proof and open NRI account and arrange to transfer all my salary to NRI account here but he has not agreed anything, he is asking only collateral.The Indian govt.clearly mentioned that 4 lakhs for india and 20 laksh for abroad studies without any collateral.My daughter MBBS course is for 6 years and fee expenses comes around nearly 20 lakhs for 6 years.If bank say like this, where will I go?

              Please arrange to take necessary steps in this issue or otherwise I will send the same to education department and send the same to state and central ministers.

              Reg Educational Loans — Attitude of Branch Manager

              Dear Sir,

              This is to bring to notice the attitude of branch managers. I had been to the State Bank of India, to enquire about an educational loan. The manner in which the branch manager stared at me, a girl, was really hurting. His looks were disrespectable. Please train your branch managers, with some ethical values.
              This attitude needs to be condemned. Dont these fellows have sisters or daughters.

              They need to be booked under eve teasing, someone needs to bell the cat.

              We have very bad experience against Allahabad Bank, New Friends Colony, Near Surya Hotel. We have been going there since three to four months, but the staff sitting there told us that there is no CBS facility is provided over there neither they a accept clearing cheques of other branch. We cannot drop the cheque there. There is no any facility like ATM. We go there since three months for all these irregularities, reply is shortage of staff. Every time they says next week all facilities will start. On saying of Branch Manager, we turned our mind from other banks to yours and started depositing our staff salary cheques over there. But due to all these inconvenience, we are left with no way out.

              We are surprise how bank is managing this NFC Branch expenses i.e. Salary, Air Condition Maintainence & all other expenses when they are not accepting any business from customer. As per your wellwisher, I want to make you aware of non - working conditioned of newly opened branch.

              Please take necessary measures to streamline the banking operations.

              Indian Bank — they don't give me a education loan

              sir i am from Tamilnadu ..i join MBA in Koshy's College ,Bangalore University.Bangalore..FEES is 360000 ,i am approach bank loan to Indian bank,but they tel we not provided loan to this college..and they tel more reason.and they avoid me..my UG Percentage is 72%..i am don,t have any arrear..
              I am P.Uma maheswari, doing M.E in Ganadipathy Tulsi's jain Engineering college, vellore. I applied for an education loan in "INDIAN BANK, PATCHUR BRANCH-01454"" in ln[protected] for Rs2, 47, 000. I already got loan for B.Tech( counselling ) in the same branch about Rs.3, 25, 000 . i need to extend this loan for PG studies.But now they rejected my application for M.E, since i got management seat. my college is under ANNA UNIVERSITY. i provided all needed details with surety. the only reason my application got rejected is the seat from management. i was expecting the loan to pay the fees. now i am facing problems in college for paying the fees due to this sudden rejection. my family background is too poor. i don't have any other resources to pay the fees. so please help me to get the loan..

                      Amount withdrawl using withdrawal slip

                      I submitted withdrawl slip to withdraw 2Lakh, but its been rejected saying you can't withdraw this big amount instead use cheque to withdraw.

                      But i figured out there is no max limit mentioned in Indian Bank - Saving Account Rules

                      I am an Indian Bank customer for past two years.Today i went to pledged my JEWELS for some business development.I pledged my jewels for the loan amount Rs.1,20000.00. all went good untill the concern jewel loan officer asked for Rs.420 as processing fee or appraisal. when i asked receipt, they said they wont give the bill for this purpose throughout the country.when i asked further more reasons about the processing fee.They used some inofficial words,and every ones attention fall on me. I felt shy and gave the money for hell's sake.what can i do further???

                      The appraiser fee for verifying/weighing etc., is Rs.3 per 1000/- with a minimum of Rs.30 and Rs.300 maximum per borrower per loan. In your case you have been charged Rs.3.50 per 1000 superceding the maximum limit of Rs.300 and it is the mistake of the Branch. You may please take up the matter with Indian Bank Customer Service Cell - or please visit www.indianbank.in and from there you can send your complaint also.

                      And as this is the fee collected by the appraiser (not the bank employee), the bank cannot give you a receipt for this type of charges. But for the processing charges for your Jewel loan (0.56%) i.e Rs.672, you can demand the statement of account while you close the Jewel Loan.

                        I am a student of an engineering college in Modinagar- GHAZIABAD (Uttar Pradesh).
                        I had opened a Savings bank account in Indian Bank modinagar branch by paying an initial amount of Rs 500. the account was opened inside the college premises by the bank officials, i did not use that account for around a year because o[censored]navailability of an Indian Bank ATM nearby, but after the relaxation of norms by RBI i decided to access that account by asking the bank officials to issue me a ATM Card for the same , to my surprise i found that the initial Rs 500 which i deposited had reduced to Rs 30 when i asked a statement about it to the Bank, the Manager replied rather furiously and rudely saying we dont stand for explanations here and if you have problems with this bank then you can close the account and move out, when my friend interfered in the matter he said are you atleast a literate ( do you know how to read and write), he even started shouting the bank official who was dealing me by saying why do you entertain such kind of customers who even do not know what is an ATM card, for the kind information i am personally using an PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK ATM & at the same time i possess an BANK OF RAJASTHAN ATM so i know very well what an ATM card is & how to use it like an civilized citizen . i never belived that a bank which claims 100 years of service to its customers has such kind of idiotic and out of mind Managers who instead of solving the problems incurred to customers taunt them and rather take it for granted with their job, i request the bank officials to take severe action against this maniac manager.

                          Dear Sir,

                          I am a account holder of Indian Bank for about two and half years now. Recently i lost my ATM card and blocked the same. I had also applied for a fresh ATM card about 3 weeks ago. I have been regularly visiting the Nandanam Branch of Indian Bank requesting to issue me fresh card. But it looks that they dont have any kind of proper set-up to make arrangements and handle these type of situation. I have been given absolutely irresponsible answers such as "We dont know Sir; We have forwarded your application",
                          "We have outsourced it and hence we cannot help" etc. I would humbly request you to help me with this. Just because it is a nationalised bank these kind of reckless and irresponsible behaviour cannot be tolerated by consumers.They have now asked me to revisit the branch on the 18th of January 2010.

                            when i go to the bank to recive my money minimum 1hours.i don,t no what the are doing.some of the staf talking mobil phone in office time. and the talking to the customer like that animal.realy i don,t like that branc office.
                            i am not satisfied with this sendamangalam bank branch, there is no proper response&explanations to the customers.

                                Yes. I completely agree with the complaint made by Mr.Rathnasabapathi.

                                I had experience when i was trying to get Educational Loan to pursue my PG. I had all valid/necessary documents they have asked to me. But they were dragging for a quite long time. Finally, with full of frustration, i had withdrawn. No words to say further. Eventhough, my dad was having account on this Bank for the period of 25 years and myself having savings/salary account in this bank for 3 years.
                                This is the way they treat their customers.

                                    In our village(kurinjipadi, Cuddalore District),the only nationlized bank is indian bank,as per RBI rules they have to provide loan for the student with the verification prerequested document but they are not providing the loan.We are suffering a lot.

                                    Complaint against your ayanavaram branch manager for not accepting EDUCATIONAL LOAN to my son and also for not issuing NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE for availing loan from other bank.
                                    I wish to inform you that I aam having savings BANK ACCOUNT bearing NO.[protected] with your bank at Ayanavaram Bank; The transsactions in the account are satisfactory and I am maintaing good balance in the account.
                                    During the month of july 2009,I along with my co-brother approached your Ayanavaram Branch Manager for sanctioning of Educational Loan to my Son who has secured very good marks in Plus Two Examinations,
                                    At that time the Branch Manager informed me to obtain Bonafide Certificate from the Educational Institution where my Son has been admitted and assured to sanction the loan on receipt of the said Bonafide certificate,
                                    Though I approached the Educational Institution where my son got admission, to give the Bonafide Certificate immediately, they informed us that the same wold be issued to all the students only after the opening of the college. The Bonofide Certificate was issued only after the opening of the college. The Bonafide Certificate was issued to me during september 2009 only and immediately produced the same to the Manager of Ayanavaram Branch. Now he has informed me that the Educational Loan cannot be sanctioned to my son stating that he never assured to sanction the loan nor he informed us to bring the Bonafide Certificate from the institute. Though I am maintaining my Saving account with your Bank from 5/11/1990, your Ayanavaram Branch Manager is refusing to sanction the Educational Loan to my son.
                                    So I kindly request you to take action and make me to get the Educational Loan to my son.

                                    I worked as lecturer for four years in reputed institution, Coimbatore.I have one year of research experience.I published International and national articles as my contribution for India.Currently im doing full time ph.d (Chemistry)in reputed university, Coimbatore.I approached Indian bank located in V.H.Road, Coimbatore to enquire about educational loan.Then enquired all my details that is about mu father occupation and about his account etc., i said he is doing some small scale business and his account in some other bank...He said you have to go that bank and ask loan.Ok but along with that i got the following reply from the manager that"we are corporate bank.we are not entertainin any loan"i asked which loan sir..he replied educational loan.i very much shocked with the reply
                                    This is not just you. Its the case with all the banks in small towns. Looks like Indian banks are not interested in sending students from small towns for higher education. One bank in Sasaram, Bihar threw my admission letter on floor before my Father.
                                    Iam Gayathri perumal from neyveli, iam in a middle class family and my father was left, and am with
                                    my mother i studied MBA in ( Sudharsan Engineering College in Pudukottai ) through an educational loan in INDIAN BANK
                                    in neyveli branch and now am working in a pvt ltd organisation in
                                    chennai and am not earning that much of sufficient salary to pay my
                                    loan, at this situation i got my marriage fixed so am struggling to pay
                                    my educational loan, i have given so many request to the neyveli govt
                                    officer, there is no response from them so now am sending requestation
                                    mail to stop my educational loan
                                    I'm prasath.my mother and father was expired.i'm studying civil
                                    engineering.because of my poorness, i applied loan in indian bank at
                                    ramanatham branch in 2011.even i gave the several
                                    reminders of this matter, there is no action.atleast i gone hundred
                                    time to met the bank manager.noaction.even rich peoples got
                                    educational loan.but i could not.i could not attend my college classes
                                    because of my due fees.and november 10 is my university exam
                                    onwards.due to my fees due i won't attend my exam.now they ( cuddalore
                                    zonal office)asking
                                    official guardian for me.but before 1year ago, they said " offical
                                    guardian not needed.second guarantor enough.he should be a government
                                    employee."so i followed that.one government employee give guaranty for
                                    me and he attached his pay certificate.but now they asking official
                                    guardian.itwill take one or two month to get the official guardian
                                    because of the court procedures.but november 10 is my university
                                    exam.i can't attend because of my due fees. plz help me.plz sir.plz
                                    give me a chance to me.please help to
                                    get my 4 year loan amount. Plz hear my voice.their(cuddalore zonal
                                    office)thought is poor peoples will not pay loan.so how to filter me
                                    and they create some reasons.i won't cheat you.definitely i will pay
                                    the govt money after i completion of my degree with in 2 years.plz
                                    believe me.i have not source to pay the fees.because of lost my
                                    parents, even i could not get fundamental rights.i don't have ration
                                    card, i could not get welfare activities from the government.i removed
                                    from the society .i mentally suffered lot.plz UNDERSTAND POOR'S

                                    From 2010 until 2012 she was part of the education loan (doing diploma course). A total of 45800 rupees (four installments of Rs 11450)
                                    but now i'm doing engineering course . not i complete my studies .. indian bank ask to Rs. 67948.65 they notice for me to pay amount with over due amount Rs. 5316 ...
                                    i could not to understood their procedure calculation of interest rate. anyone can to help me to clear my doubt ...
