Speed Post — non receipt of cover
Dear Sir,I sent by speedpost on 29.4.2009 vide receipt no.SPET[protected]IN AT 11.37 AM 29.4.09 TO COIMBATORE TO SHRI M.K. MENON from t.nagar post office. I am informed even at 6.00 pm today 1.5.09 the post sent by speed post has not been received by Mr. Menon. I do not know how it works for even Coimbatore when it could reach the next day it has not reached on the third day also. Kindly inform me the position of the post. Thank you.

Speed Post — Non acceptance of speed post article
I went to the post office at East Raja Annamalai Puram, Chennai-600 028 post office at 2.40 pm today (16th Jan) to send a packet containing answer papers to Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India, Kolkata by speedpost. The post office told me that answer papers cannot be sent by speedpost. I met the Asst.Post Master. He advised me to go to some other post office. This post office claims it is accepting articles for speedpost till 7 p.m. every day. When I complained to the APM, he said I could complain to authorities. Hence this complaint. Does the post office have a right to inconvenience the public like this and deny its service on flimsy grounds like "we will not accept answer papers by speedpost" ?--K.R.Srivarahan The parcel which was sent for Italy returned back. We wish to reason of non delivery please.
