India Times Shopping — FALSE COMMITMENT AND DELAY IN PRODUCT DELIVERY
Hi,I would like to share the frustrated experience of India Shopping Assured 7Days Shipmen
My name is Hema, I have ordered a product through Times of India`s Readers Offer and immediately paid for the same on the 31st of July 2008. It’s been 22 Days since I have placed an order, till now neither a call from them nor a positive response for my call.
I have been following on this since 12th of Aug, Initially they were saying that I would get the product by 14th Aug, thereafter they told me to wait until 19th Aug as the delay was due to the Independence Day holiday. Further, when I called them now that is today 21st Aug they say that the delay is from the merchant side and I need to wait for some more days. Their constant response is ‘we are sorry for the same, I understand you problem etc is like a parrot. Their response is actually adding fire to the fuel rather convincing.
I never expected this situation would occur since Times of India has taken initiative to advertise and promote their daily online shopping through their daily news paper.
I sincerely advice the public, whoever reading my complaint, please do not get tempted on the offers as they may look very nice from far…
I entirely agree with this ...It Would be shame on Times Of India if they do not take any immediate action on this ..as a reader of Times of india, if the same continues i personally inform all my freinds & collegues to stop reading & trusting Times of India as they only Advertise for money not for the QUALITY & SATISFACTION of the readers for the product displayed in there news paper everyday.

India Times Shopping — Delay in the Product delivery

I have ordered a product through Times of India`s Readers Offer and paid for the same on the 30th of July 2008 of Rs 7300/-. It's been 29 Days since I have placed an order but till now I havnt received the product.
Sir Can u pls help me to get a solution. Whenever I call their office, they have the similar answer like u will get the product in another 4 working days etc, Its been 29 Days and they are not seemed to be bothered at all.

I was placed an order of Haldira's sweet. Since i have paid through credit card transaction proceed with in 4 min's but my order confirmation still under process this is really a very bad india times knows how to deduct money but their service is really bad infact worst.
Indiatimes Shopping — Wrong product shipped - no attempt to correct the error.
I placed an order for an AIPTEK mobile projector with free Aiptek Camcorder and 2 GB memory card for Rs 20198.00, on Indiatimes shopping vide PO no[protected], on 7th January 2009. I received a courier from Indiatimes on 12th January 2009 with a shipping label on the courier indicating that that the product was what I ordered. Imagine my shock when I opened the parcel and found that a cheap Canon A470 powershot was shipped instead! (worth around Rs 4800/- on Indiatimes website!)I promptly registered a complaint (no 902039) with their customer care as well as sent out an email complaint with details of the wrong shipment, for which I got a prompt reply that the problem would be resolved within 8 working days.
I kept following up with Indiatimes shopping customer care to determine the status of the complaint. On 20th January I was informed by Mr. Aman of Indiatimes shopping that they had shipped out the replacement product on 19th January, and that I should be receiving it within 48 hours. I requested for the shipping details, but got an answer that he would send it out to my email address within a day. I persistently followed up again on 22nd, and got a reply that the vendor (Maxis tech - Gadgets and more) was not responding to them, and I was advised to cancel the product and take a refund. I have agreed, but I do not know when I will get my refund.
This is the last time that I ever shop with Indiatimes shopping.

Indiatimes Shopping — DELAY IN SHIPPING OF PRODUCT
I had ordered a Nokia E71 mobile on 11th Aug 2008 vide order no[protected]. Till today I had not received my consignment. When I contacted customer care he replied that it will take another 7 to 10 days.This will not be tolerated. Everywhere in the website they advertises that shipping will be done within 7 days.
